Alumni Posts: 231 ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: California, USA | I appreciated all but one and was told that after my honest critique the one I had a problem with would be pulled and at the very least revised - hopefully it was... Why do you ask?

But this is a course to be tested against, pass/fail, except otherwise, what is the point? If we are to be accredited as practitioners, that is to say. Blessed Be

Student Posts: 173 ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: North Georgia | I've taken the first portion of the elective courses, 10 of the 15 required. The ones I have taken are a good starting point on the subjects they cover - general in knowledge and broad on the subject matter. They are not as endepth as the main study courses, but electives never are, I don't think they are supposed to be. What I love about all the courses is the sources used to create the courses are provided. If a topic is of interest to you, at any time you can do additional research and reading on your own. Sometimes I get sidetracked for months just reading one book, which leads to another and another. I love that part - so much fun! Are you a student or considering enrolling?

Ph.D. Alumni Posts: 694 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: New Smyrna Beach, Florida | I am a student who just completed the bachelor portion of the course material. I found the electives to be a jumping off point. Just enough to stimulate any interest you might have but not so much as to be an indepth study. Blessings Leo B Div.

Regular Posts: 52 ![]() ![]() Location: Buffalo, NY | I am like Katrina. I take a course, find that particular course interesting and read the books used for the references. I have learned so much I wouldn't have learned without taking the course. I guess it's all up to you what you take out of a course.

PhD Alumni Posts: 4414 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: United Kingdom | Congratulations Leo ! Did you know that Bro. Leo was a follower of St Francis ? Well, according to Kazantzakis he was, but I could not be sure Hello Nadine ... 'I am like Katrina' ... I think i know what you are saying, and I am only playing now, yet with an undercurrent of seriousness - no one, surely, is 'like' anyone else? Are we not beautiful in our own uniqueness ? [forgive me, could not resist the mischevious pull]

Moderator Posts: 15 | I can share from a staff perspective...I worked with many of the writers of the courses, and I have to say one of my favorite electives is the Breatharian course. I found it to be fascinating and beautiful, and I know it to be written by a genuine breatharian, which I find really amazing and interesting. I don't recommend the practice, as from what I understand it is very challenging to go through the transition from receiving prana through food to receiving prana through air, sun, and earth, but I do think it is really wonderful to know about this sacred and ancient practice, and also for me it opened my mind and heart to the endless possibilities for how we can be receptive and realize the sacred, infinite nature of being. This author also wrote our UFO course and our Dolphin Healing course. In-Joy! Devon

PhD Alumni Posts: 4414 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: United Kingdom | Hello Moxomor - sorry I did not quite understand your post. Are you saying you use an essay writing service, or are you promoting one ? There are site rules about promotional material, and there are academic rules about essay writing services, that some of us might call 'plagiarism', or misrepresentation (ie, passing off someone else's work as one;s own); but am not sure if this is what you meant ?
