Hi there, I'm new, haven't signed - up as yet, have a few question left, maybe somebody is able to help me. With the enrollment application, is it ok just to fill in the fields with the asterix or the whole lot?

cheers

Prob. best to fill in the whole lot. Or you can always e-mail the faculty at umsfaculty@umsonline.org.

I truly enjoy the courses. They provide quite a bit of information on the different topics and provide you with suggested reading list if you want to explore particular subjects further.

Hope to see you around the board! Best wishes on your new endeavor.

Echy...even my U doesn't require that you fill out everything on the application. Since my U is "open enrollment" we only require that you maintain a "B" (3.0) average in your courses to keep enrollment current. ON THE OTHER HAND.....
UMS is very student friendly....you fill out the app as best you can. Since the learning is self directed, you can pretty much be your own teacher, classroom and classmate. And/Or you can open up the world of these boards.....there are absolutely brilliant people here....and they got no clue how smart they are!!!!!
Go beyond the forms to be filled out of life...and experience LIFE!

Hi echidna,

Just e-mail UMS and ask them. Its been awhile so I don't remember what I did. It was simple though. I think they want a GED or high school or an affirmation that you have one. They just want to know that you can complete the courses.

Peace is within (and so are the answers), Welcome Aboard UMS!

Yes, I, too, had to submit my diploma when signing up in 05.
While things were a little different back then... it's still the same for everyone.
Cheers~

Thank you very much for all the replies. I finally did sign-up yesterday morning. Still waiting for acceptance, I'm very excited and looking forward studying all the subjects.

Thanks again

Hi echidna,

I remember what I did to fill out the application.
I just sent a copy of one of my college diplomas.
It says that all you need is to swear that you have a high school diploma.
And the rest is easy.
Common sense.

Peace,

Absolute Sovereigncy
