To all.

Apparently, I have breached the line and have fallen into "bashing" a politcal figure. I am retiring from further exchanges.

Why did you come to that conclusion?

If someone has emailed you personally, saying you are doing so, please let us know. As we do not favor one side over another here in the forum.

I enjoy your posts, so please don't be discouraged.

Blessings~

Abby......it is no secret that Jilly does not like the Irish guy O'Bama and that is because she is from a "red state". As for PeaJay, I don't know....he has Gordon Brown to contend with....and that is very heavy, indeed, as Gordon wishes his bird looked like Carla Bruni....er, ah, Mrs. Sarkozy.....well, ain't that just the most traditional French name......I think it probably came from the 4,233 arrondisement of Paris..which would put it somewhere in downtown Warsaw.
Absolvency, I make fun of a great many things...sometimes to make a point, and other times just to be what I think is clever, and others think is completely stupid. But, that is me!
You have not offended me or, as I judge, anyone else.
Believe me, I had a lapse of good taste  for a moment and did, indeed, write something that was probably more offensive to me than those who did take offense, and I heard about it from our fellow posters. The best to be done at the time was to apologize to those that were offended. The person whom the comment was directed at saw it a very different way, and for that I am grateful, as the comment was blurted as more of advice and admiration for a person that I considered more of a related soul than a fellow poster.
Please continue to speak freely.....this may be the last bastion of freedom of speech we have.......

Peace and Love,

Marty - sadly, 'our' Mr Gordon Brown has never been submitted to the electorate as Prime Minister - he was craftily slid in by Tony Blair. So I personally can take neither responsibility for, now ownership of him (even though his initials are GB!) -as as for your Mr President Obama, whilst I do not think he can walk on water, I think he is great. As indeed, is his wife. And it was nice to see them and our dear Queen get on so well.

Robert - I also have place myself in self-imposed exile on a couple of occasions. The Board environment is a challenge; crossing over international boundaries of culture and understanding, without ever the luxury of making eye contact or reading body language .... but these are some of the reasons why for me it represents an amazing opportunity for - as Gurdjeiff might have said - 'work on oneself'; to keep on polishing the stones of our souls, being kind yet discerning towards one another, working ot how to say what matters and what is important in ways that can be understood and yet no cause offence, rather encourage awareness, learning and light - and forgiveness towards ourselves and on another.

Thanks PeeJay.....you, many times,  got my bacon in and out of the fire just at the right time. Don't think that I don't know the clever tone of your replies and repostes.Think that I "read" you as a very clever gentleman, and have respect and LIBERTY.
So......AbSolve.....there you have it.....say anything you want, but just be sure that you will be true of heart, and ready to do the right thing once the deed is done.

Happy Easter everybody!

Looks like I've been "resurrected" from retirement. I'm jumping back into the pool.

I've gotten a job selling domestic furniture made in Tacoma, Washington. Really good stuff, no particle board. Sold $15,000 yesterday. Beds and dressers and other such items. The real deal. I do 10 day road shows for Costco in the Northwestern USA. After no job for 7 or 8 months, its real refreshing. And I've decided to start up my hypnotheraypy practice again. Its been a few years and I have a new wife, Ruchell, who is supportive. Makes a difference.

Peace is within,

Absolute Sovereigncy (Robert)

Hi Absy et al:
When you jumped , wasn't the water nice and warm!!!
Now, just for my benefit, what heritage is the name Ruchell?
I have an acquaintance with someone whom we call Ruxsee, and the nickname is a play on Roxanna  from Eastern Europe.

Hi mruppert,

"Ruchell" is Philippino. The "u" is pronounced as an "o" and is between a long and a short "o" sound. She's my angel on this planet.
