Hi All,

I just discovered your university website today through you tube, what a lucky strike :-)

I am thinking of enrolling but first i am confused about the kind of specialization degree titles
i don't know the difference in the titles, it is not specified if the courses will differ or not?
or s it all the same but we choose our title as we wish?

there is the following:

Metaphysics
Metaphysical Sciences
Metaphysical Counseling
Spiritual Counseling
Divinity

so any difference in the courses at all?

Actually if I would do this degree, I'd do it for myself, I have not planned yet what i will do with it... but i leave thing to fall into place at the right moment... all i know now is i need it becuase it has been my main area of interest for over a year & I am obsessed with metaphysics & spirituality

thank you
much love & light

All of the courses are the same except for the electives you choose. There are no courses for the doctorate degree, only the dissertation. Two dissertations of you want the Ph.D and D.Div.
By the time the title you pick becomes important, you may have an idea of which title to pick depending on how your studies affect your path.

I had a specific goal in mind, so picking the title was easier for me. ~SF

Yes, that is it. Welcome OneLove! Choosing a title is totally up to you. The Divinity title is the one most recognized and traditional.

I received a lot of help with this from UMS, though only towards the time of completion.

I shall be eternally grateful

I for some odd reason wanted "science" in mine. So, that is what I chose. However, my career is hypnotherapy. I combine metaphysics with my career a lot, but not always. Metaphysics is my way of life. I also chose to marry couples. LOVE doing that. I have another wedding this weekend.

I guess pick the one that appeals to you most.

Blessings~

Thank you all angels for clarifying.... god bless you all

I am having another question though, i have been reading a lot about spirituality for a bout a year & i go to a spiritual teacher for sessions quite often... dont get me wrong, you dont know how exciting this is for me..... I like the courses & i like everything.

I am not sure how to compare my current level of understanding/ knowledge to the level of the courses.. i am not saying that i know more or know everything, but what i am trying to say is will it add a great deal more or not so much putting into consideration that i could continue reading the type of books i read & do the kind of work i do on myslef?... okay, you & i cant answer that question right now, i know it's a strange question.

but what will help me is know about your experience, angels.... How did it help you evolve & how much have you evolved ever since you started studying?

Thank you
Al love

OMG, I felt exactly the same before I chose to enroll. I had taken classes for years with a different school. The school was good, but was burned down and they never re-opened. I was also not so happy with their ending, it was telling us we had to be a specific religion and I felt that was not what I was looking for. So, yes, I too, already had so many classes. I knew many of the divination methods already and felt like I just didn't want to start over.

I also wanted CREDIT for my work and I couldn't use the school I did study with, they were gone. How good would that look, if they cannot find my school. It was embarrassing.

I found UMS and told them of my dilemma. They were so kind to me and actually did some research about the school I told them about. They surprized the heck out of me with their knowledge. I enrolled and sure, I flew through some of the classes because I already knew a lot, but there was so much more. I learned so much it was great. I feel it was worth every cent.
Oh yeah, UMS also didn't have a biased opinion on any certain religion either, always left it up to our own personal and private choice. I liked that.

Anyway... Always up to you!
Blessings on your path to enlightenment~

I had a not dissimilar experience to Jillifer ... three professional 'people-centred' qualifications, published papers & books, 40 years focused reading on spirituality; UMS brought it all together inestimably well. The fact too that no matter what prior background one has, one has to do every single course, helps to maintain standards.

Welcome to you too, OneLove. I hope you find all that works for you at UMS. I know I have. I have had the goal of becoming a Minister and have just about completed the Masters of Divinity. I only need the evaluation of my Thesis to be finished and receive the credentialing that will allow me to perform Weddings and other Rites of Spiritual Passage. I have always wanted to be a Retreat Master as well. I feel that I have much to give, as do the other students that have found their calling in this field. My Bachelors was in Metaphysics and my Masters and Doctorates will be in Divinity. (B.Msc., M.Div., and D.Div)

Best of luck and I hope you have made the leap of faith and joined us on our journey.

Light and Love to All!

Jeffery
