Member Posts: 5 Location: Cleveland, Ohio | Hi everyone. I'm a UMS newbie. In my semi-retirement, I plan to devote more time to writing. I love writing because it teaches me so much; often that I don't know nearly as much as I think I know. In my former career in economic development, I authored several academic and professional articles, book chapters, and monographs. My writing interests have shifted to the complementary medicine and spirituality and medicine fields. I have published some books on poetry and photography, which can be found on Amazon.

I have taken the liberty of editing the link you posted to Amazon because technically folk are not meant to use the Board to advertise. I realise that not what you were doing though. You could add such links to your profile which some members do. Blessings Ophiucus

Member Posts: 5 Location: Cleveland, Ohio | Hi Ophiucus, Thank you for replying to my post and edit. Perhaps this question has been asked elsewhere on the board, but has anyone used their UMS dissertation as a springboard to a book? I may be interested in doing that.

Member Posts: 5 Location: Cleveland, Ohio | Hi Paul, thank you for the welcome. I am enjoying UMS. Self-publishing is a legitimate way to publish these days. Kindle Direct Publishing, a part of Amazon, offers great affordable services. Hope you are feeling better. With best wishes, Don

New user Posts: 2 | I wrote a book called "The Best News Ever" and I also write articles for UMS/Gaia Sagrada blogs. I truly believe UMS is a very important modern mystery school. You can read my book for free at tbnebook.blogspot.com.
