Expert Posts: 2118 ![]() ![]() Location: The Heart of Space | For the second time in this year passing something strange has happened. Would those of you who are familiar with regression kindly relate his/her experience, knowledge and other such particulars? What is gained by regression therapy?? Yours in Piece, Marty

Imagine that alien arrival at the Washington Monument moment. I had that moment a couple yeas ago figuratively, but the entity is domestic, not alien. Did you see my fleet? Each one of those can punch a hole in a moon of Jupiter, larger than earth's moon. Ganymede, Callisto, Europa, and Io come to mind. Can you go the other way far into the future? Some Nematodes can. Strangely, there are no non smoking humans left and I know why. But then, I'm nuckin' futz! That's OK, because so is the future. Edited by alpha+omega 11/2/2016 6:56 PM

Alumni Posts: 534 ![]() ![]() | Marty, my knowledge of past life regression therapy is limited to what I've read from Dr. Brian Weiss. He is a psychiatrist who stumbled upon past lives while doing a hypnotherapy session to regress a patient in this life. Are you inquiring about past life regression therapy, or regression therapy in this life? Regardless, my understanding is that it gets to the root of issues to uncover things that may still be affecting a person now. Once you figure out what's causing the issues you can theoretically work to resolve them. http://www.brianweiss.com/ Edited by Disa 11/5/2016 5:12 PM

Expert Posts: 2118 ![]() ![]() Location: The Heart of Space | Hi Diss, Thanks for the reply and the link (I will check it out shortly). My interest is in past life regression. It piqued when two very momentary but extraordinary time shifts happened. I am trying to think of some fiction writing that deals with regression as a plot line.....as I believe I read something that planted this seed. But, I read so much and so many things at one time, I am losing the ability to keep track....though, as soon as I have a memory cue, I am right there. What I find interesting is that there were 60 views thus far, and 2 replies. This can be interpreted in a number of ways.....to travel down one avenue....do today's metaphysical community dismiss regression as an unworthy (or worse yet, unprofitable) topic to consider? I am just amazed at the lack of interest the metaphysical community has in metaphysical things. Have we gotten to the point where we are like the other websites? Has it come down to how much we can line our pockets with? Over the years, I have noticed big changes in students in a "university" environment. They feel a good grade is an entitlement by virtue that some money was paid (tuition). They feel that if they do not get the good grade, then it is the teachers fault. They do not feel that they need participate in discussion if it might disrupt their preconceived notions (safe spaces invade the classroom). Is UMS becoming just like all the other U's???? Hoping for a stronger together to make everything great again in a YUGE way, Marty, working the way up the truth vine.....

All of us have something to contribute, especially new posters.... Imagine a future without inflationary debt backed money. That would solve a lot of problems. Yet this is about past lives. Do you think we actually came from another planet? We are the only creatures to use fire for example. That is what puts the human species on top of the pedestal. I have this recurring dream that I am some sort of Teutonic Baron in a past life, yet not of this earth. I am in some sort of military service like an air force, yet in the vacuum of space and not an atmosphere. My unit is the 432nd wing, so I am pretty far down the totem pole, yet still the head of that unit. They mine whole planets for materials. They have Dark Matter and Energy power generation to overcome gravity. In the future direction, there are several planets in the same orbit as Earth is now around the sun, such as configurations of 6 and 3 terrestrial planets. That started me looking for more mass in the solar system to see where they could be from. All crazy stuff. A wild dream no doubt. We have 50 billion cubic meter mining machines that we call a Fifty. They are a tube that flies and processes a cube of earth 1,710 meters on a side if it were a cube instead of a tube. We are talking Big Iron, but it is made out of a lot tougher stuff than that. When it cuts through rock, it leaves a surface smooth as glass behind, and in fact even coated with super toughened glass. The crews are looking for engineers and people of all stripes. There is a huge manpower shortage, but to operate the machines. They can train a chimp to do it, but human are preferred. They want to expand and tackle Jupiter for starters. When you do the math, it will take a while a cubic country mile and change at a time. It would make a darn cool movie. Edited by alpha+omega 11/6/2016 6:24 AM

PhD Alumni Posts: 1882 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: NE Ohio | I am a certified PLR hypnotherapist. What it does is takes you to a previous life to help you gain insight of what may be causing issues unresolved in this life. Pending belief, it's also a safe way to have the subconscious metaphorically help solve issues and disassociate it from this lifetime. I have some clinical case studies i can discuss when i am at my desk and can type fast. It's quite extensive. A beautiful thing to experience. I suggest Dr. Brian Weiss also, as well as Michael Newton PhD. A really good few books as well. I'm finally starting to come around and feel better. ... for a while it was really shady grounds. It's my dang heart flipping out on me. Grrrr
