Alumni Posts: 533 ![]() ![]() | PJ.It's not much better on our side of the pond. Bad things from the past rearing their ugly heads. Monday is a March for Humanity. In a few weeks, a terrible "gathering" disguised as "anti-illegal immigration", but no one is buying it. It's hate groups, plain and simple. Why are hate groups allowed freedom of speech? I can't understand it. In a town where I spent much of my childhood, a town whose people probably did more harm to my psyche than any others. I'm happy not to live in that town now and haven't visited for more than 20 years. I signed a petition to stop it, but I feel as though I should go there and stand against the hatred. Hopefully they will just decide not to do it. Where is our next Martin Luther King, Jr. His work is not even close to being finished This is the Happy Easter thread. Happy Easter to all, belated as it may be. Happy Spring, then. The world needs a miracle. My best to you all xoxox Edited by Disa 4/8/2018 5:53 PM

UMS Guest Posts: 1938 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: United Kingdom | In your eagerness to shoot me down in flames and hack me and my work to pieces, none of you recognised my intention behind the opening of the new thread. I came to bring new hope to those who are disheartened and scared about the present state of our world. The article ‘Reflections On Hope’ was a loud and clear message that only recently came to me – yes, intuitively from my Highest Self. I was trying to share it with you and at the time it felt to me that this was Doing The Right Things People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centred. You don’t have to like them, but love them anyway! They are all part of your spiritual family. They are part of you and you are part of them. They may not yet know it, but you being wiser, Love them anyway! People may project their own ulterior motives onto you, And accuse you of having them. Rest safe in the knowledge that the Universe Knows their hearts as well as yours. Do good anyway! If being successful means that we can only win False friends and real enemies. Succeed anyway! The good we do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do it anyway! What could have taken years of building up, Can be destroyed overnight. Build anyway! People who are in need of our help, May attack us whilst we are trying to help them. Help anyway! Give the world the best that is within you, And should it be rejected, do not stop giving. Give anyway! The Universal Law of Karma ensures that what we send Into the world, has to return to us. Give of your best and only the best is sure to return! Bishop Abel Muzorewa African Spiritual and Political Leader Edited by Aquarius I wonder whether Marty kept out of it. Could that be because he is my friend and the only one who grasped the meaning of the message I was trying to bring the UMS, its staff, members and visitors? It was my response to messages about the things that are presently taking place in our world that were posted here in response to my Easter message. Trying to avoid stepping on anyone’s toes by opening of the new thread, I seem to have stepped on everybody’s. Please accept my sincere apologies for that. With love – Aquarius * * *

UMS Guest Posts: 1938 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: United Kingdom | For those who truly are wise ones, here is my message once more: Reflections On Hope
Through the German poet and philosopher, historian and playwright, Friedrich von Schiller, 1759–1805, the following message of hope was given to our world in troubled times. Its German title is ‘Hoffnung’ – hope. Two different versions of it are presented here. The first one is a masterly translation by a very special friend of mine, who wishes to remain nameless. Hope
The second translation is combined with a new interpretation of Schiller's poem. It was written intuitively, the same as all my writings, with the assistance of my inner teacher and Highest Self. It’s how I imagine Schiller would write his poem if he were here with us and writing it, now. Hope * * *

Forum Administrator Posts: 462 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Dear Aquarius It is certainly not my intention to shoot anyone down in flames here, neither you nor anyone else and I am sorry that you see it that way. Moreover your work has had ample space on the board over many years so there is no evidence of it being 'hacked to pieces', quite the contrary: this thread itself being a good example. I had also held back for a good while before doing anything very much not least because, as I said yesterday, I wanted to hear others' responses , both to my suggestions and thoughts as well as to responses to your posts. I am not sure how helpful it is to keep reposting material that has been reposted before, without intervening comment. My interpretation is that DocJ (and me) were simply stating and reaffirming what we take to understand by the function and place of this discussion board in the UMS context. To repeat and put plainly, the discussion board, sponsored by UMS, is not here to serve as a platform for anyone to use to promote their own beliefs or world-view in a way that does not respectfully permit of any disagreement or alternative. DocJ suggested a disclaimer for Guests to use (which you appear not to have taken on). I had suggested some of kind of word count (something I seem to recall Marty had once before floated but never followed through) We have also discussed many times before, although in slightly different ways, such concepts as 'Masters' and 'everyone's own' 'Christ nature' and found them uncertainly - if not contentiously- located here, especially in a thread about Easter, and its' special, sacred and manifold complexity. I have put an alert on this thread for other Moderators' reflection. In the meantime this is also Frozen but I would very much welcome any views on the topics discussed but in a new thread please. Kind regards Ophiucus

Alumni Posts: 533 ![]() ![]() | We are still a little chilly down here in GA. Spring pops up every now and then and then we are back in the 30's and 40's again. It was a long drawn out winter, now I don't know what you call this in between time. I want to dig in the dirt!!! Edited by Disa 4/21/2018 7:09 AM

PhD Alumni Posts: 1882 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: NE Ohio | The sun has been shining here in Ohio and warming up a little, but (I don't want to jinx myself) people are starting lawn mowers. The minute I get my lawn mower started.... it'll snow! Lol who knows anymore with our HAARP controlled, flat earth.... hope I don't accidentally fall off the edge.... (sounds like a song) LMBO :D
