I haven't had the same coincidences you mention, but in our family (and my husband's) there are many people who have a birthday and their children were born on the same day they were.

When one looks at it from a global scale, people being born on the same day as oneself is not significant at all, but, when we look at a particular family, the significance factor changes greatly,

And, not to forget, we have many birth mysteries......such as the seventh, and the seventh of the seventh.......
