I am a spiritual person as is my new cat Bart. Bart's owner may have passed away, and he joined my friend's menangerie as a stray, consisting up till then of two female cats. He used their cat door, emptied their fridge, and chased them all over the house. He has big paws and while he can't pick up a 2 x 4 sideways, he can do it on edge to make me edit.

Please count me in. It's true that we are all spirit and soul, temporarily encased in matter. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it automatically makes anyone into a spiritual person, i.e. aware of the fact that this is what they are and behave in a manner that is in keeping with this awareness.

Dear Paul - I have a good idea of what is troubling you at the moment and am wondering whether any of the following rings a bell with you:

                                                                                                   Saturn – Moon Progression

About ten months ago, you started to come more strongly under the influence of the energy of Saturn, the planet of Karma, than is usual for you. This came to a peak approx. two months ago and over the next six months or so this will fade from your life again, as slowly as it crept in. 

Part of Saturn’s energy is that one sometimes feels unreasonably and irrationally down-hearted. A lot of the time, life and everything in it may appear more than somewhat lack-lustre. Unless you are a Sun Capricorn and therefore accustomed to such feelings, each time they rise to the surface of your consciousness, count your blessings and be more understanding towards the Capricorns around you because they are struggling with this energy for the whole of their present lifetime. And then remind yourself how lucky you are, as in your case feelings of this nature are sure to pass in good time, as all things do and must – namely when this progression is over.

Wise ones, whilst they are under the influence of Saturn’s energy, take special care to resist the temptation of working too hard. Whatever your occupation may be, if you wish to stay healthy during this progression, make sure you to get plenty of rest. Do make a point of not taking on too much work and unnecessary responsibilities, for this is a time when taking extra good care of yourself will pay good dividends. Through being unaware of what is operating in your life and therefore ignoring the warning signals your body may be giving you, you could be making yourself seriously ill. It is in your own interest to ensure not work too hard, get adequate amounts of rest, take plenty of fresh air and exercise, and not forget to eat regularly and healthily. Do not allow yourself to become overtired and run down. This is especially important for those who have a natural tendency towards depression. My own experience of this energy has shown that our thoughts can turn surprisingly black and bleak, when one allows oneself to become overtired. So please be careful to avoid this.

However, there is also a considerable upside to this progression, as under the influence of Saturn, some sterling qualities can be acquired. They are self-discipline and self-restraint. Without the right attitude towards these things and appreciating Saturn’s ways, life can feel more than somewhat restricted and boring during this progression. If this is happening to you, it is worth your while to remind yourself that these feelings will pass, once the progression is over. How we personally take to it, more than anything depends on our inner attitudes towards life and the type of work we are presently doing. Loved may be living or working far away from us, which does not improve matters. Although business affairs will go slowly, any long-term plans now made will be of a solid and durable nature. They are sure to work out well in the long run. Our patience and inner strength are being tested constantly. If we can get ourselves to recognise the true purpose of this time in our life, which is to build up our inner strength and wisdom, we can benefit greatly from it. For as long as we accept the lessons Saturn wishes to teach us and are willing to learn from them, we can rest safely in the knowledge that our rewards are sure to come in due course and that they are likely to be great.

This progression is an excellent time for doing some serious long-range thinking and planning. To discuss any future plans, it is worth our while to consult with knowledgeable and responsible people, who have our best at heart. Our dealings with those in responsibility and with older people in general, could now be somewhat awkward. We may feel the need to make some far-reaching decisions regarding our parents or other elderly relatives. And this too is sure to work out well, once this progression has run its course. If money is in short supply, especially on the home front, take heart because this too will soon improve.

Dear Paul,

I do believe that all our relationships are of a Karmic nature and that, because this is such a special lifetime for us and our world, those who have spiritually matured sufficiently to be able to work their way through this transitional period and its requirements, have brought their most difficult relationships with them. This creates many opportunities for paying our Karmic debts and restoring the balance of our spiritual bankbook by attending to any unresolved issues that were left behind in previous lifetimes, thus bringing them to their natural conclusion. Clearly, the relationship with your friend is one of this nature.

Dear Aquarius / Dear Paul,

P: I cannot get access to my hotmail account currently, sorry, as I know you often post messages there; I have no idea what the problem is, but just in case you thought I might have been ignoring you!

A: I have two e-mail addresses for you. Might it be a good idea to delete your hotmail account?

P: The two nuances we might not have in common are : First, whether or not it is the individual soul that is born and reborn time after time. I used to think it was; but my deceased friend had died at least twice before - in this life - and had no recollection of white lights, out of body anything, and it all just reaffirmed materiality.

A: How about the time when your father came to you one night when you were about to enter into dreamtime, three years after he had left the physical plane of life, when he came to comfort you and talk with you about the hereafter. At the time of telling me about it, you were still convinced beyond any doubt that there is a world of light.

As far as I am concerned, there is no problem with not coming to the same conclusions as someone else. So what? Let’s agree to disagree and continue to be friends.

P: Second, I am persuaded that Jesus was an historical figure.

A: Again, so what? Although many people to this day are of the same opinion as you, it does not change my perception of the matter.

P: On more or less everything else, I think we agree (oh sorry, maybe I am still not sure if those Daesh guys and gals are the gods in becoming that I would want the future children of the world to become ... so maybe that is three things.) . . .

Dear Marty,

Those are your view and I accept them for that. This however does not change my perception of things, as I am aware of and can see the wise and higher purpose behind everything. This doesn't mean wearing the tinted glasses you describe in your latest post. It means bearing in mind the higher and highest realities of life that form the background of everything that ever takes place on the Earth. Without it there would BE no life on this plane.

 ‘Keep On Keeping On’ – A Message of Hope and Encouragement

It is a great joy to us to tell you of some of the truths that concern you and your happiness. We know the sorrows and the difficulties of material life in a physical body which is at present unawakened to the beauty of God’s worlds. We know how hard it is to pursue the darkened path of earth life, because you have to walk in darkness to accept the conditions in which you find yourselves, trusting in the love of the Great White Spirit, trusting that the eternal arms are ever around you and that your earthly experiences come for a wise purpose.

This is not easy, we know. And because [we] the Brothers who have passed onward into the light understand the sorrows, the disappointments and the hardships of mortal life, they come back with a great longing to help, to give you knowledge of your own inward powers, to tell you of those beautiful states of life which await you in due time. They want to tell you how worthwhile your efforts will prove, to say that no effort is ever wasted, although you do not see results. Keep on keeping on your path. We promise you that it is leading to Heaven, to a [heavenly state of ] life so full of bliss and peace as to be quite beyond your imagination.

Now you will say to me: ‘This is all very well, White Eagle. We believe what you tell us. But how is your promise going to affect our present-day difficulties and problems?’ We are pointing the way towards your goal. When your vision is fixed upon that goal, you will acquire a different mental and emotional attitude to your companions and the problems of everyday life, for what we have to tell you is the way to overcome these problems. You and we know that the eternal Light is the great solvent of all problems, but because to contact this Light requires the subduing of the lower nature – which is of the Earth – humankind will riot listen and will not make the effort to rise in thought and aspire to the life which is light and joy and tranquillity and peace.

We come back like this to offer you truth, to love you and to inspire you to look upward towards God. All your little difficulties will then pass away. All are transient. No obstacle is insurmountable. Do your best Do riot worry about tomorrow. The [legend of the] great Master Jesus said: ‘Consider the lilies. They toil not, neither do they spin. Yet I say unto you that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.’ If your Father both feeds the sparrows of the air and is aware of every hair upon your head, He knows your spirit and its need and will not forsake you.’

Earthly people live with a kind of barrier all around them. You must get rid of that barrier, which is like a dense fog. The only thing to disperse fog is sunlight and the winds of Heaven. A great light burns within you that is turned down and has grown very dim. You are the only person who can uncover that light and turn it up, causing it to shine brightly so that the fogs of Earth disperse. You can generate a power in yourselves that, like the winds of Heaven, will sweep clean your surroundings so that all mists will disappear.

The conditions of your life will change. More important than this, you yourselves will change so that the things of Earth which in the past have seemed so tiresome will no longer have any effect [on you]. You will regard them in the right perspective, seeing that they are unimportant. This very great realisation has to come – the awareness of the God-given powers within you. You are children of God and God has planted within you the power to be happy, to overcome all darkness and sickness, and for entering into a life that is perfect. You have heard us say this before, but you forget. So we must repeat the same message again and again.

We often say, and have said throughout the years: ‘Keep on keeping on’. This is the magic phrase – steadfastness. Pursue your path in spite of obstacles and difficulties. When you can say before the altar: ‘Not my will, 0 Lord, but Thy will. I humbly accept’, then the strength will come to you. Joy will light your life and you will see, you will see truth and the Divine Law working out in human life. And believe us, this vision of seeing the Divine Law at work in human life, in spiritual evolution, is an indescribable happiness and joy. Many people say: ‘It will all come right in the end.’ It certainly will. If you act with honour towards your companions, all will be well.

Keep on keeping on, although the hill at times seems insurmountable. When you have to turn a corner and cannot see the summit, you must keep on persevering with your climb, knowing that at the top of the mountain is in the light of the Sun, and that in due time all people will reach it. What credit is it to any one of us if we are just happy when things look bright and shining, and become weak and waver when they are dark and threatening?

As you have heard us say in the past: Keep on . . . on . . . on. Keep on keeping on, for one of the tests on the spiritual pathway is endurance. Never mind what happens on the outer plane. Keep your vision on the light of God, for it is the light of the God within you that enables you to look forward towards the mountain, and behind it catch a glimpse of the glory of the rising Sun. And then you know that nothing will deter you from pressing forward on the path leading to that sunlight, to that glorious light beyond the mountains. You will long with all your being to grow nearer to the Eternal Sun, to feel the warmth, comfort, and glory of that Sunlight. Nothing will matter to you but that you become enfolded in it, so that you, being part of that Oil Eternal Life, may hold all life in your heart.

Remember, many forms of life look towards you and your light to help them, even as you look towards the light which shines in the distance. God helps you and you help the lesser forms of life. The nature and animal kingdoms look towards humankind for help upon the path of evolution, just as you look towards the Angelic realm. Therefore, we impress this thought upon you that you owe a responsibility to the lesser kingdoms. In every thought of love and wisdom you radiate you are helping some younger, perhaps tiny lifeform who is reaching upwards towards the Light [the same as you].

Never forget that God does not hurry. We, God’s children, must accept the Divine pace. We must be patient. But we get impatient, and throw I the project, and run off to find another amusement or a fresh interest. We have wasted so much time if we do this, for the same procedure will [have to] be gone through again, right up to the very point where the lesson of patience and calmness of spirit has to be mastered. But if we can keep on keeping on, thankful and trustful, along the appointed path, we shall be blessed with achievement, completion, happiness, such as the world cannot give and peace such as the world cannot take away.
