Did anyone see in their part of the world the news report in today's Independent newspaper (UK, no relation to UKIP!) about the odd movement of large space rocks in the outer Solar System that might indicate the presence of two 'hitherto undiscovered' planets in our part of the galaxy that are possibly larger than Earth. Has everyone forgotten Nibiru?

Ha... and everyone had been so dismissive of those old texts ....

Musing and wondering, might They be coming back ...?

I did read something about that. Could it be planet X or nibiru? Could the Anunnaki be coming back to Check on its creation?
Hey Paul. No response from 1-19-15 seems to be very quiet.

Dug up this old thread because I saw another report today that astronomers were now speculating on a 10th planet (again, but with more belief apparently), very very far out from our sun, with a 20,000 year cycle ... interesting how that might correspond with the ancient writings on Nibiru.

Has anyone else picked up on this?

Takes science a long time to catch up on Ancient Wisdom

would be very interested in others' observations...

Dear Aquarius

Thought you might be a good person to advise on this one - does it appear anywhere in your stargazing event horizon?

Hello Paulo and the Smyrna Beach denizen,
.....all of this just goes to show how little physicists and astrophysicists truly know about the stuff that surrounds our orb. You guys know that I have railed against Einstein as I truly think he was wrong about a great many things. Perhaps trimmed mustaches, combed hair and fresh eyes will reveal some of the ultimate truths that we can know of the ultimately unknowable.

Peace,
Martystein

Paul Joseph - 1/22/2016 4:55 PM Dear Aquarius Thought you might be a good person to advise on this one - does it appear anywhere in your stargazing event horizon? Love Paul

Hello Paul,

If there really were another and much bigger planet than the present one believed to be Pluto, that would make a great deal of sense to me, considering the enormous power its energies have, influencing us and the happenings in the world around us.

My best friend and technical advisor on these things will be coming shortly. I shall consult with him and get back in touch.

With love - Aquarius

Paul Joseph - 1/24/2016 3:00 PM Thanks Aquarius - that will be very interesting . . . Best wishes Paul

My technical adviser tells me the following: ‘I would say that it would not be in the least surprising that there should be at least one other planet of substantial size well beyond the orbit of Pluto, but within our solar system. However, I have learned to be very wary of claims made by physicists, cosmologists and astronomers, some of whom seem to me to be seeking pop star status. I suspect much of this has to do with their quests for further funding for whatever they are doing.

‘I would love to rejoice about any finding of any further large body in our solar system, but I think we should wait until we have much firmer evidence of the planet/s mentioned above before we start to get excited.’

Thanks for update Aquarius

Well, if you check out Nibiru on You Tube there are simply heaps of postings, referring it back to the Annunaki and Sitchin's view that this planet comes around to us every 20,00 years or so, based on ancient Sumerian tablets ... it just seems very strange that what such folk have been saying for many years, now seems to be corroborrated in some way shape or form - and some of those You Tubers reckon that NASA has been hiding what they know ... taking me to Marty' thoughts too ...

I mean, if something as large as that would be coming our way, what might it mean for any cosmological effects on our little world here?

Of more anon, we shall see ... it may be just another Age of Aquarius or 2012 chimera ... our wish for something to happen on a grand scale, the hand of god to intervene, Deus Ex Machina to perform what it cannot ... though yet be careful what we wish for ... or it might all end in a whimper not a bang as the poet predicted ...

Yours, back to the drawing board

Paul

Dear Aquarius

I am grateful again for your post on the above, as especially our resident stargazer!

But I thought about your technical advisor's comments and that the latest findings are mainly of interest because they accord and chime with those ancient Babylonian tablets as interpreted more recently by Sitchin and others; so not so much developing popular reputations, as being of potentially Earth shattering significance; say for an example, a 20,00 year orbiting planet were to be due to return at this point in our time, what might that mean for us here now?

And what is the likelihood of there being any life on it, and if so would it be completely extra-dimensional to our understanding of what 'life' is?

I remember back to Bartholomew's posts also on this, and with Marty's NASA suspicions.

By the way X Files is back .........................................................................

We have hope then..

Keep the faith
Paul

My adviser says that in his view one speculation is as good or bad as any other. I agree with this opinion.

I am in a local astronomy club here and i asked them about planet x. There reply was basically a large chuckle and said something like, don't drink the cool aid. But i never asked about Nibiru. I do truly feel there is so much we just simply don't know. Very interesting topic!

Why don't we just wait and see what is going to happen? I am sure the reality will be much more interesting and exciting than any speculations could ever have been and will be.

Dear Friends

Well firstly Aqua, I always like to be prepared for what is or might be to come.

.... but secondly, when the term 'speculation' is used here, not sure if that is quite accurate. Zecharia Sitchin seems to have spent a life's work dedicated to research into, amongst other things, ancient Sumerian texts, that indicated, or could be interpreted, into ideas concerning more planets than we currently are aware of, and possibly, visitations by ancient extra terrestrials.

Sitchin has been dismissed by traditional cosmologists (hence Jill's astronomy group reaction); but I thought on the Board here there might be others who might be more and better informed, or interested, especially as, some of those traditional cosmologists seem to have become led to the possible existence of at least one other planet out there, because of the behaviour of other celestial entities, ie, mathematical reasoning.

Hence, speculation, or mathematical probalities/discoveries that might now seem to be supporting ancient - but ignored hitherto - tradition.

I raised it here because I assumed there might be others whom I respect here who might know more about the probabilities and likelihoods here than do I!

http://www.sitchin.com/

Best wishes
Paul

Hello Guyz.....
I am not a "wait and see" person. As a pesky VirgoX2, I am out to save the world!

We should heed the lesson of 2MASS J2126?8140, whose distance from its sun causes it to take 1 million years to complete an orbit. Perhaps, life in this particular solar system has come and gone and never had any knowledge of good old 2MASS!
If we liberally interpret the Law of Truly Large Numbers, it is almost a certainty that another planet or two or more exists in our defined solar system (and even that definition is limited by our lack of knowledge). It is a certainty that there is other life in the universe and it is not unlikely that some of that life may be carbon based; and therefore like us.

Now, how about dem Aliens? Well, the mechanics of evolution worked millions of years ago, works today, and will work until we render this planet uninhabitable. In SIXTY MILLION years of evolution, dinosaurs were still, basically, dinosaurs. 200,000 years ago, give or take, hominids gained a foothold on good old terra-firma. A mere 150,000 years later, we got all kinds of homonid activity, and shortly thereafter, homo sapiens....in other words you and me. What is wrong with this picture??
There had to have been some stimulus to this rapid evolutionary response. I think that some friendly folks from someplace else gave us a little push in the direction we are taking.

Made of stardust (as we all are)
Peace,
Marty

Oh....and to save ourselves....we better figure out a way to get off this planet which means we better find one to go to....Mars looks like to much of a hassle, at least as far as the movie showed us.

Sorry, Marty. That's not your pesky double Virgo speaking. It's your Sun in the first house, the domain of Aries - the most impatient sign of them all. Shooting first and then asking the question and spurting things out instead of getting their minds into gear before speaking. Rushing headlong into things. All of these things are hallmarks of people born in whom this energy is strong.

Thought you might like to know.

Dear Aquarius

Whoa there a moment or two and pause ... we are not using (private) astrological knowledge (of Marty's possible astrological reading: and do not forget this is a very public forum) to configure what sounds very close to a personal put-down, are we?

Personally I read Marty's post as being an in good faith contribution to this thread, and worthy of a thoughtful response to his substantive point(s), rather than a focus and diversion onto his jocular and self-effacing introduction.

Marty - please let me know if there has been any disclosure of such private - ie, confidential - astrological interpretation and I will take appropriate action

Blessings

Ophiucus

Hello Again All: Ophi.....

If Aqua wants to "Ram" Aries down my throat, I've got no truck with that! (You might  need to be American to get the secondary joke about the truck-we have a brand called Dodge Ram trucks).

Seriously, let us continue our discussion, as I have no problem with the comments thus far. However, I am reading more substantive information from those who are considered to be speculative versus little information from those who have some sort of higher understanding.

And, that comment might prompt further discussion to the questions pondered, as opposed to the personalities involved.

Peace and Love to ALL:

Returning to the subject of the thread ...

Once upon a time I was an agnostic ...later I was an evangelical Baptist ... after, and now, I can only claim to be a know-nothing, aspiring to be a mystic ...

Which since it is the abnegation of self, is nothing, no-thing ....

Absence of speculation

But the evidence for life here on earth materialising cosmologically overnight seems less persuasive than extra-terrestrial, or Divine, intervention. And strangely coincidental are age old traditions from around the world: all also speaking of some kind of 'return'.

So now to encounter astronomical discussions along the lines of something out there on a return, or recurrent, journey, just seems too fascinating to disregard.

Anyway, I will carry on gazing heavenwards, and inwards too:

Perhaps the way to outer space lies within us (all)

Remember Alice in Wonderland and the rabbit hole? We need to find the wormhole(s) ... (Reverend Charles Dodgson aka Lewis Carroll was a giften mathematician. and Aquarian)

Good luck and

Let's hope

Peace n all
Paul

Hi Stargazers and Planetpeepers,

Posting an excerpt of a Science News article dated 28 November 2015. The last sentence should be a lesson for all of us.

""Pluto's Smaller Moons Pose Mysteries
Pluto has four small moons and a big one. Now, thanks to the New Horizon mission, we know some details about those moons. At least three of the small ones are duplex objects like Comet 67P: two smaller objects stuck together
to make one bigger one. All four small moons are as bright as clean ice. But, one moon, Kerberos, seems to heavy to be pure ice. Either the mass estimate is very wrong or there is something strange going on.""

BTW, Pluto may well have four "slush" volcanoes, bigger than any others in the solar system. And, Comet 67P has Oxygen molecules, which indicates it was created in a certain way, as opposed to other space rocks.

Peace and a Hug to Poor Pluto,
Marty

Oh yes, Planetponderers:
I forgot to add this link in which some very important questions are brought up with regard to "aliens". What is frightening is the premise that "we" might be alone. Although my opinion based on the available knowledge is that we are not alone, IF we are, then there is an even greater imperative to save this world rather than sit back and watch as "we" snuff out the light of this planet.

Hope the link works!

Hello All:
Paul, I wanted to reply to something you wrote in a previous post about self..........
Many times we equate self with superego; and New Agers equate it with ego (superego and ego are two distinct and separate things).
As I was reading your post and some others, I was reminded of my notebooks on "consciousness".
Uh oh.....gotten distracted so I can't type a lot......but my point will be that consciousness (yours and mine) existed before conception in our respective mother's wombs and that consciousness continues on after the corporeal body ceases those things which are deemed as "being alive".
My evidence of this is scientific, but it is the science that recognizes that there is a mystical element all around us-rather than that of dismissive screeds about spiritual bunkum.

Peace here, there, everywhere!
Marty
