Hi Folks,

Many of you may know that I am a student at UMS as well as their programmer and webmaster. And some of you probably didn't know that!

I have created a new website with its own forum where I also do free readings and consultations.

I publish a monthly article on the Lunation Cycle (based on a simplified version of Dane Rudhyar's system) there, which opens a Lunation Journey for folks to take. We are into the Gemini Lunation now, approaching the First Quarter Moon. Come see what's up for this lunar month!

Other "Journeys" are available there too.

Not trying to "steal" or motivate anyone away from here, of course ... but if you have time you might check out www.elishans.org

Everything I do at elishans is free. A contribution back to life for all I have learned.

I'd sure love to see you there!

Love and Light,
Zy

Hi, Zy.

I clicked over briefly. I will have to check it out when I have more time. I just wanted to say upon first glance that the website looks beautiful! I don't know a better way to describe it, it's just a nice layout-very tranquil. The content looks interesting, but I've got to go get ready for work so I don't have time to read it all yet. Thanks for sharing. Will check back with it later.

That sounds interesting, dear Webmaster. I for one had no idea that you are such a many-sided genius. I will have a look at the website and see what I can make of it.

I've just been to your new forum and it looks great. However, I have one problem with it and that is for my the writing is so faint that I can barely recognise anything. Mind you, I do have vision problems and would appreciate it very much indeed if you could make the print somewhat stronger and blacker, so the likes of me can make out what’s going on, too. Many thanks for considering it.

Aquarius, please try something for me. Next time you visit elishans, hold down your Ctrl key and press the + key. It will make the whole page bigger. I have trouble reading it myself because of the size the template makes it. You can press Ctrl + any number of times to enlarge. Ctrl - (ctrl and minus key) reduces the size, and Ctrl 0 (ctrl and zero) restores it to it's original size.

If you experiment with this, let me know if it helps enough for you to read (and post to) the forum more easily. If so I will write an article about it to help others there too. My Mom has macular degeneration in her eyes and just had cataract surgery. Ctrl + solves the problem for her, but I am also concerned about your eyes too. If Ctrl + doesn't help, please let me know here or in the Suggestion Box on elishans, and I'll work with the CSS to make the text darker for you.

I'll work hard to make your vision easier, so that all will benefit from your Vision!

Dear Sospiro - oh yes, as far as zooming in and out - and resetting the whole thing to zero with the help of ^C + 0 is well known to me. i can do better than following your instructions, because I have a brilliant Logitech function mouse. It's a very clever mouse indeed - just like Speedy Gonzalez the fastest as well as the cleverest mouse, not only in all of Mejico but throughout out world. How's that?

Sounds good. And I do see that you posted already. I think the lady who started the thread got a lot of good thought from your post!

But let me know if the Ctrl + and microsoft mouse isn't enough to help your eyes. I would be happy to try to change the font color to black.

Love,
Zy

Excuse me Zy, but why did you choose to call this thread "Living The Life of the phoenix?"

A couple reasons, cause. I started the thread to introduce www.elishans.org and if you visit there, you'll see that "Living the Life of the Phoenix" is the slogan of elishans. Check out the logo.

I use this because one of the teachings of Elisha, which I haven't written a lot about yet, is that we can actually reincarnate once or many times during one lifetime, in one body. I call this, "The Phoenix Miracle." In the Aquarian Age, things will move even faster than they are now. The ones who are able to meet change with changes of their own identity will be the most empowered people alive. Identity seems to be something most people don't think they can change or surrender or let go of. A common thought is that, "I can change myself, but I can't become someone that I'm not."

Elisha teaches this is not true. That identity isn't essential. He teaches us to watch for the words, "I can't ..." to escape our lips. Because, if you can't do something you wish you could, what is holding you back is your own very special collection called "I" or "identity." But that collection isn't so special that it can't be sorted, emptied, or recycled, much as a phoenix does when it is reborn of the ashes of an obsolete self.

Elisha says:

A phoenix who cannot fly knows how to become a phoenix who can. If you can't do something you wish you could do, it's time to become someone else who can.

Zy, I think you and the teachings of Elisha have come to me at exactly the right time in my life. I'm hanging on every word, watching the transformations because I think I'm on the brink of one- and it's been a long time coming. Something I've been working on for years. Either I will integrate this and that, or I will completely break free from this and become that. No matter how long the journey takes, the outcome seems to be an exciting, grand adventure.

Dear Aquarius,

Thanks for letting me know. I will be sending Reiki throughout. Not only to you but to the medical staff. I find it's better when they are included; healing the healers is always good for the patient!

I have a very good feeling about your operation.

Be strong!

Much love,
Zy

My most sincere and deepest thanks to all who sent me their good wishes and healing vibrations for the operation. I cannot begin to tell you how I had been dreading it and that for many years. I asked the surgeon before the procedure whether he wuld consider giving me some kind of sedation. I had heard from others and also seen on the internet that this is a standard practice. ‘I honestly don’t think you need it,’ he said.. ‘The anaesthetist would have to be brought in, in my view quite unnecessarily.’ So I told him, if he could hold my hand – metaphorically speaking – I would be okay.

Laying on the operating table, he explained to me everything that was happening step by step. He kept on speaking and explaining quietly. And  do you know something? I was so still and calm that in the end I didn't find the experience at all distressing, merely very interesting and totally amazing. I am sure that I was feeling that way was due to the kind and loving thoughts, good wishes and healing vibrations people were sending me.

When the surgeon bent over me after the operation, I could see him as clearly as anything – straight away! Nothing short of a miracle and a true gift from the Universe, as all things in truth are. About twenty-four hours later, my vision in the left eye is brilliant, the images are incredibly clear and such brilliant colours. What a wonderful world we are living in and how much of it I have missed during the past six or seven years.

The operated eye still feels somewhat wobbly, but as likely as not that’s to be expected and part of the healing process, maybe for many people. If it doesn’t clear up within twenty-four hours or so, I will get in touch with the hospital who can put me through to the surgeon, if need be.

I shall have the right eye done as soon as the operated one has properly settled down – maybe within the next four weeks – if possible earlier. I just can’t wait to be able to see properly with both eyes again.

It was a good day for the operation, as it took place on the day of the New Moon in Cancer. The day was not consciously chosen by me and that makes it a true gift from the Universe who presented me with it in the form of my appointment for the operation. Every new Moon is an excellent day for a new beginning and for launching fresh projects. I am sure this one will provide me with a new lease of life.

My loving thoughts and grateful thanks go to all who accompanied me with their healing vibes on this astonishing journey of discovery and healing that turned out so surprisingly without any major discomfort at all. Thanks a million!

With love – Aquarius

Dear Zy - my second operation is scheduled for tomorrow 11.30am our time. As it was so very helpful last time, would you mind sending your healing vibes to me and all those around me once more?

Thanks a million.

Dear Aquarius,

How are things going? I think of you often, and send Reiki when I do.

Oh ... and by the way ... you've been posting as a guest the past couple of times on elishans. When you're not logged in, you're a guest. It looks like you've been using your topic title there as your guest name. If this is intentional, okay! But remember guests there (as here) have to have moderator approval before the post will show. So it might be better to login. If you forgot your password or are having some other difficulty,, please let me know!

Dear Zy,

Thank you for your loving support – every bit of it is highly appreciated and gratefully received. The second operation last Friday went splendidly and I am delighted with the improvement it has brought. Living with one repaired eye only was very difficult indeed and at times made me feel quite disorientated. Now that both eyes are working together again, the way they should, things are improving rapidly.

As far as my contributions to the Elishan Forum are concerned, please accept my apologies for not logging in on a couple of occasions. It wasn’t intentional and I don’t know how it happened. I had set myself a bookmark for the forum, which used to take me straight into the logged in position – not on these occasions it seems. I shall look out in future and not take the automatic login for granted, promise!

                                                                                    With love – Aquarius
