"And how did little Tim behave?" (......................) "As good as gold," said Bob," and better. Somehow he gets thoughtful, sitting by himself, so much, and thinks the strangest things you ever heard. He told me, coming home, that he hoped the people saw him in the church, because he was a cripple, and it might be pleasant to them to remember upon Christmas Day, who made lame beggars walk, and blind men see." -A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens, 1843 Oh....and the absolutely strangest seasonal song....supernatural to say the least..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgcTKehpGcQ May you all have happy days now and through the coming year, Peace and Paws, Marty and LuckyLee (wow...my first Christmas with only one cat)

Location: United Kingdom | I believe that the story of the life of the Master Jesus was once given to humankind as an allegory of how each one of us, as soon as we have become sufficiently evolved, is required to conduct ourselves, not only in our daily lives on the outer plane but – far more importantly – on the inner level. The birth of Jesus, his temptations, illumination, crucifixion and ascension provide us with illustrations of the initiations, i.e. experiences every human spirit on the Earth plane eventually has to undergo on its way back into the full conscious awareness of its true nature and oneness with God. |
