Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep

Rays of Wisdom - Comfort For The Bereaved - Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not dead. I’m not asleep.
Having left the prison of my physical body,
Once more I am all spirit and free.
Again I am fully aware of my
Oneness with God and all life,
And that I have always been

In a thousand winds that blow.
In softly falling snow.
In gentle showers of rain.
In fields of ripening grain.
In every morning’s hush
And in the graceful rush
Of birds in circling flight.

In the star shine of every night.
The flowers that bloom.
In the quiet of a room.
In the birds that sing.
And in every other lovely thing.
Look for me in them and
Don’t stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

I dreamed, I saw Joe Hill last night
Alive as you and me
Says I "But Joe, you're ten years dead"
"I never died" says he
"I never died" says he

"The copper bosses killed you, Joe"
"They shot you Joe" says I
"Takes more than guns to kill a man"
Says Joe "I didn't die"
Says Joe "I didn't die"

And standing there, as big as life
And smiling with his eyes
Says Joe "What they can never kill
Went on to organize
Went on to organize"

From San Diego up to Maine
In every mine and mill
Where working folks defend their rights
It's there you find Joe Hill
It's there you find Joe Hill

Thanks for link Marty - I think I posted something before on Biocentrism too so it chimes in a lot for me

That is why also I prefer the probable original of the last line of Mary Frye's poem (posted on that earlier thread about 'Letting Go'), where it goes:

"I do not die"

As ever, physics is catching up with metaphysics [catching up with poetry .. 'In the beginning was the Word..'?]

Cheers

mruppert - 5/15/2016 10:35 PM Hi all: Interesting opinion......... https://aeon.co/opinions/there-is-no-death-only-a-series-of-eternal-... Hope the link is stable for a while...... Pizz, Marty

Thank you, Marty, for sharing this thread with us. The following is my contribution to this theme from 'The Universal Christ Now Speaks To Us And Our World':

About Time

ABout Time - Rays of Wisdom - The Universal Christ Speaks To Us And Our World

Refuse to think of time in the earthly sense. Consider only the timelessness of Eternity and look at life from the viewpoint of your Highest immortal self, Me. Know that everything that happens in your world rests safely in My hands and is part of the Great Plan of spiritualisation and bringing forth the self-realisation that enables you to recognise yourself as part of Me and Me as part of you – that in fact you yourselves are God. This process involves you as individuals as much as your planet. Fields of exploration and adventures await you that so far lie beyond the reach of your wildest dreams. Rest assured that everything will be for your highest good and greatest joy. Good is the ultimate goal of all life. True and lasting happiness and great miracles and wonders are in store for each one of you in the conscious reunion with Me and the returning home into My loving embrace.

Your planet is the only place where the concept of time exists. In truth it is always now. There is no tomorrow and no yesterday. They are merely ideas that had to be created especially for your world, to assist you with setting boundaries and giving structure and shape to your earthly sojourns. Know that you are in Eternity and that Eternity is now, that attitude is everything and that there is no need for you to worry about tomorrow. All you will ever have is your present moment and every new one of them will always bring fresh learning opportunities for those who are ready to take advantage of them. Let tomorrow take care of itself. If they so wish, let others worry about it but refuse to join them.

Because on the inner level of life all is one, when one of you changes their attitudes and thinking patterns, everybody else changes with them. If you are familiar with spreadsheets, think of humankind and your whole world as a gigantic one of these. Now, change one figure – imagine that this figure is you – and watch the effect rippling through all the others – the rest of humankind and everything else in your world. See how they too are all changing – it’s pure magic! The world you are inhabiting is a wondrous place. Alas, to unaware souls who are as yet unable to look beyond the ends of their noses and below life’s surface to perceive how I, the living spirit, am at work throughout all life, the insecurity of Earth life can be very frightening.

Rest assured that nothing can manifest itself in your environment unless it has first happened on the inner level of life. As a result, each time one of you consciously changes their inner perception and attitude towards life, your whole world follows suit. And when you save and redeem yourself in thoughts, words and actions, your world is saved and redeemed with you. So, go your way with your eyes wide open and be alive by taking an active interest in what surrounds you. Your intelligence is part of and one with Mine. Use it for good purposes only and strive to make your world a better place through bringing a renewed understanding of the true purpose and meaning of your earthly existence to as many as you can. Share the knowledge you find to help ignite the Divine spark in people’s hearts and souls, and the small still flame of spiritual understanding comes alive in them and renews their faith and trust in Me, your Creator, and the goodness of the life I have prepared for each one of you.

Assist the people you meet to become aware that in truth there is no yesterday or tomorrow, only this glorious moment of here and now, and that every moment of their lives is part of Eternity and precious. All who at any given time are dwelling on the Earth plane are aspiring to become a lightbringer and healer, who in the fullness of time can be used as a channel through which My wisdom and truth, the macrocosm, flows ever more forcefully into the consciousness of your race, the microcosm. Know that the power of creation is in you and that imagination is the source of all creation. Use yours to create the ideal world of your dreams where all live together in peace and harmony, and where warmongering, sickness and death are no longer known. By thinking about this often, you call it into being. And when you meditate and reflect upon it, through your inner guidance I will show you how you can do your share of bringing your new world about.

Rejoice in your oneness with Me and experience the elation of acting as a true child of Mine by assisting others to become aware that they also are the daughters and sons of My eternal spirit. In the name of love I ask this of each one of you.

Six pointed Star

Do Not Think In Terms Of Time

Rays Of Wisdom - Healers And Healing - Do Not Think In Terms Of TimeThe purpose of my efforts all along has been to do my share of bringing to an end the suffering of our world that to this day is caused by the false beliefs, superstitions and prejudices that have been spread by the various religions of our world. The Age of Pisces was an age of deception, blind faith and suffering. Religious organisations in pursuit of personal power and material gains, instead of promoting the wealth of spiritual wisdom and understanding among its followers, created themselves deadly and evil instruments like the inquisition for brutally suppressing God’s wisdom and truth. The parts that already existed in our world were in the way and therefore ruthlessly removed by any means available.

This, too, undoubtedly was necessary because it provided us and our world with invaluable lessons about the use and abuse of power. Like all things and happenings on the Earth plane they  also served a wise higher purpose. It is for this reason that for such a long time the truth hidden behind so much of the surface words of the sacred texts of, for example, Judaism, Christianity and Islam had to remain hidden from public view and knowledge. In particular this applies to the life story of the Master Jesus.

However, at the gateway of the Age of Aquarius ever more of us are going to be ready to receive and grasp God’s wisdom that comes to us directly from the Source. Rather than blindly swallowing as truth what is a mere legend, many can recognise the educational purpose behind the Jesus story. The way of the past and the Piscean Age has been following the teachings of churches and religions that encourage trouble, strife and warfare between the nations of our world, both sides praying to the same God and asking for the victory of their own supporters. In the fullness of time all religions will go from our world, of that I am sure. You and I have been granted the precious gift of another lifetime to present us with endless opportunities for learning to think for ourselves, for making up our own minds and making our own decisions as to what we can and wish to believe. We are here to accept the responsibility for ourselves and every one of our thoughts, words and actions. When it comes to establishing whether the people we meet and their beliefs, in speech and writings, are true, all we have to do is listen to our own innermost heart and its responses. If it says: ‘This is true, it makes sense!’ you have found something that is true.

The ignorance of not knowing our true nature, that in fact we are God, has been the cross our race has carried long enough. We are here to nail this lack of knowledge to the cross of consciousness and take responsibility for the state of our world. Everybody has done their share of creating it this way and it is only fair and just that it is expected from us that we all make our contribution to saving and redeeming our world and each other. This is done through saving and redeeming ourselves by steadfastly refusing to create more difficult Karma and instead in any given moment sending only of the best we are capable of out into our world. By constantly reaching above and beyond the fears, anxieties and apprehensions of our small earthly self that have accumulated in the memories of our souls in the course many lifetimes, and surrendering them to our Highest or God Self, the earthly part is crucified. As we nail all undesirable parts of ourselves to the cross of consciousness, we eventually reach the glorious point when our inner eyes open and our perception of life begins to expand.

If one wants to make sense of our existence in physicality, there is no point in thinking in terms of one or two earthly sojourns only. For as long as we insist that this is all there is to life, it cannot but steadfastly refuse to make any sense whatever. But, as soon as our outlook changes and our perception expands into the vista of the concepts of eternity and the evolutionary purpose of humankind’s existence, quite magically everything falls into place and makes a great deal of sense. We then begin to grasp the reality of the infinite love of the One, who so lovingly and caringly with the greatest of wisdom and foresight created all this for us, for the single purpose that we should learn from it and grow in understanding of God’s nature and our own.

Hence, do not even try not to think in terms of time because spiritually it’s impossible and  unimportant anyway. The concept of time merely exists on our planet as the Universe’s teaching aid because it gives structure and some kind of shape to our lives. The Father/Mother Creator alone has the great plan of life and knows when the process of spiritualisation of all life on the Earth plane will be complete. All rests safely in His/Her hands and everything that is presently happening is part of the charted road of spiritualising us and our world. The most vital part of this is every soul’s eventual recognition that we are all as much part of God as God is of us, that in fact we are God.

This development is constantly taking place in each one of us individually, our whole planet and everything that shares it with us. Beyond our present level of existence fields of exploration are waiting for us that we could never have imagined in our wildest dreams. Everything that is good, beautiful and true needs to be our God and to finally be all good, all loving and all forgiving ourselves, that is the final destiny of every human soul. Great joy, happiness and wonderment are waiting for all of us when we come home into the oneness with our true Father/Mother.

There is no doubt in my mind that everything that ever happened to us and our world invariably did so for wise purpose and sound evolutionary reasons. The awareness of this is a very precious gift, which the Universe is now placing into everybody’s hands. All types of spiritual knowledge we are gaining has to be used wisely. Whenever we are confronted with troubled situations, our first port of call should be a consultation with our inner teacher, our intuition, to show us how to act. When others are suffering we can and should help, support and love them to the best of our ability and do all we can to ease their situation, but without getting emotionally too involved in their experiences.

The more we become one with our Highest Self, the more we view all life from its perspective, the better we are capable of making a lasting and valuable contribution towards bringing relief wherever there we come across suffering and pain. Yet, sometimes the best and the only thing we can be done in particularly traumatic situations is lifting them into the light of the Universal Christ, the Highest Star, and praying for its help. We are here to live our truth and to act as good examples of those who know and trust that everything rests safely in the Universe’s loving hands and that – in the fullness of time – all crooked corners shall be made straight and all circumstances, no matter how difficult they may appear to be now, shall be resolved, redeemed and healed.

Best of all we can help those around us by sharing with them the knowledge we find, so that they too can learn to trust that all is well with our world, in spite of what things may still look like on the surface. To paraphrase one of Christianity’s beautiful hymns: ‘Freely, freely, you have received. Freely, freely, now give! Go in My name and because you believe, others will live in my, too.’ It is not our job to carry the world on our shoulders – that is God’s responsibility. Our task as healers is the lifting of all humankind and our whole world into the heart-mind of God. In our prayers, meditations and contemplations, whatever our own unique and preferred way of communing with the Divine may be, we need to ask for help wherever and whenever it is required, for when one of us asks, it will not fail to come.

Dear Aquarius I copy over here my post from the Potry and Prose for the Soul thread, as they apply here too:

Dear Aquarius

I know we have been around these houses lots of times before, and we always end up agreeing to disagree, but just in case there is anyone else out there looking in, I repeat myself by saying, it bothers me not inconsiderably that you quote from the fruits of many sources, whose roots you disparage or disagree with, or say are legend and without factual foundation, when there is historical evidence for those sources, and the fruits you pick from have an internal consistency and symmetry that are lost if taken out of context.

Best wishes

Paul

I would add here, to blame a tendency of humans towards selfishness and corruption on the Age of Pisces seems to me to be far too simplistic and avoiding of individual responsibility and choice; equally to say that in the Age of Aquarius will be hunky dory if we think positive thoughts is an abnegation - and avoidance - of our roll(s) on the planet (possibly which we have elected to undertake as part of our choice to be here now on this express occasion).

I am not going to engage in repetitive debate, life is too short, but had to make these points ...

That is actually a great idea, i don't bother reading very long posts because I'll fall asleep. ... i do read shorter posts, flagged posts, interesting topics actually not constantly shoving Master Jesus down my throat. Just saying! I'm sick, actually dying so i honestly don't have time for SSDD. I'll go to a beautiful place when done, i know this because I've died already and remember everything. If we have something to share from personal experience. ... that's now a beautiful read in my opinion. From all the flagged posts, I'm not alone and when something no longer helps UMS.... It's gone!

Thank you all

Good point, Marty.

Another suggestion is this-

Aquarius, UMS has graciously given ALL of us the ability to post links to our sites, whether we are students or not. Your links are already there for those who are interested in your writing to go and read. Just like all of our links are there if anyone is interested in our writings to go and read. So it isn't necessary to post pieces from your site on this forum, others don't post pieces from their sites on this forum. It's nice to have this forum to engage in conversation with like minded individuals, but conversation isn't "preaching to the choir" it's discussion and engaging in a positive way in which we can all learn from each other.
