Hello Paul,

     There are those in the USA who believe that we fought for democracy in Iraq and achieved that goal. But, when I tell them that Iraq is an Islamic republic which severely restricts rights of many (women, other religions, other political parties, etc.)  those very same people develop severe wax in their ears, such that they can't hear the truth.

      I am well aware that the Pavlavi family was an ally of the USA and Iran was a stable influence in the region. WE betrayed the Shah and let the country fall into the hands of radical Shi'te factions..most of which are our modern day Taliban and Al Queda. There is no turning back....Iran will continue its nuclear program and will develop an atomic bomb.....not a darn thing anyone can do about it.

      Even in the holocaust of Hiroshima, the Japanese did not give up. We had to drop a second  one on Nagasaki. When the fire continued to rain from the sky the divine emperor finally surrendered. He surrendered to save his people.

      We will have no such luck from our new nemesis. The destruction that was exhibited at H&N, Nippon does not faze these people. They are prepared for destruction as, for  some reason, virgins are involved in a convoluted belief system, as a reward for mayhem.

       I often wonder why Allah allows this.....................??????????
