Hi all:

Perhaps many have achieved such a higher level of consciousness that dying does not present a care or inconvience, Assuming that is the case, I would expect that there would be some comment on those that have been dead and have come back to this earthly plane; this reality; this existance.

A gentleman by the name of Beck Weathers died and came back to life. Since I hear no comment whatsoever from our spiritually oriented community, should I just accept this to be the norm? Do you all expect it to happen to you as it did him?

 Peace,

Marty, Luckylee, Poppyhead

Wait, Wait! Did I miss something on another thread that had prompted you to ask this question?

I'm not sure if you mean having near death experiences or reincarnation?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beck_Weathers says that it was a near death experience in a mountain climbing accident. Key word being "Near." So don't go trying to break new ground if ya don't have to!

If you are going to be host to part of the Collective Consciousness that is the source of cognitive thought for all we describe as "Animal" in the animal-mineral-vegetable universe, ya gotta take care of the old Meat Computer.

My sig's Near Death experience has now been sort of eliminated... and like Beck minus a few appendages... but I see this board still makes cents!

Yo Marty and alpha-omega,

Some time ago when I wrote my thesis on reincarnation, I found a great deal of information to support both life between life as well as reincarnation. Therefore I have no fear of death as it isn't really a death. It's simply going beyond the veil of our current physical reality. Since there are thousands upon thousands of other realities, we mearly pass our consciousness into another reality. We may decide to do the physical earth thing again (many do). I have had one other physical existence on the earth plain. I was a teacher in that reality and I have been a teacher in this one as well. Those major aspects of our consciousness often become what we will do in the next incarnation.

While everything that we've ever said or done is stored in our consciousness, often the experience of what we did follows us through each incarnation. This doesn't mean that we have to do that as it is our choice to become what we desire. All of these things are put in place prior to our return to the physical plain. We pick our parents, siblings, friends etc. The problem is that we are then born with amnesia. However, everything is stored in your consciousness. We just need to be aware that it's there and follow the path of your intuition. We have guide's to help but getting in touch with our guide's can be difficult. We have intuition and that is your guide speaking to you. We are all part of the collective consciousness and we are consciousness.

The Creator, the I AM, the Source, God or whatever your choice of names may be, it is consciousness. I wrote my dissertation on consciousness from the viewpoint of science, philosophy and metaphysics. They are slowly becoming one science.

Of course we can't leave out karma as that plays an important role in what we do. There are lessons to be learned and those could determine how our next incarnation plays out. We may be required to have an incarnation that requires some fixing due to negative karma. Since negative karma happened here on the physical earth plain, we must fix it here on the earth plain.

We are infinite consciousness, we never die.

Hiya Apluszed,

I have not looked at the Wikipedia article. But, it was NO accident.

I base what I say on the recounting of that fateful season on Everest by the  first and second rescue parties; and two climbers who happened on the stranded individuals; and lastly on the hearsay of other climbers in the area. I have discounted Ed Veisturs crew and the team that was primarily composed of South Africans since they were a bit removed from the action.

The rescue parties and the climbers all say that Hansen, Namba and Weathers were dead. Doug and Yasuko are still dead (at least I hope so for their sake) but Beck came back to life the next day, and although partially frozen with arms in a grotesque position, walked to an intermediary base camp.

I have read his book and find it quite remarkable.....but the truth of the matter is that he was deader than a doornail.....and he came back to life by some means that we cannot know. Maybe it was "Peaches" that called him back. Maybe not........

 Peace,

Marty and Carnivorous Cats, Poppyhead and Luckylee

Hi there Leo and Marty

Yeah I could sure use a Karma Mechanic, but I see it is pretty much a DIY endeavor!

{hops back onto Karma creeper and goes back to wrenching on the Karmic Transmission] lol

Hey a+o,

One thing that I've learned about karma is that you don't get to choose from the karma menu, you get what you deserve. The most important thing to remember about karma is that you build it up over time. Not just from this incarnation but from each life experience you've ever had. That being said, negative karma builds up and the only way to fix it is right here where you created it. That's why many continue to return to this physical existence. The idea is to create only positive karma and then you can incarnate without the need to fix negative karma.

Yeah. In the same vein, cruel as it may be, Karma sure explains New York, the epicenter of Bad Chi!

Likewise, in New Jersey, minor riots have broken out over gas shortages in less than 72 hours. If this is a sneak preview of 2012, our whole coddled existence is about to get the big Karmic Toilet Flush. This is how it may go whether there is a 2012 "event" or not. Ironically, December 21 is my birthday.

Here is Dr. Al Bartlett 's take on it.
