Of late, I am very lazy....since we have a very large Korean population in Howard County....which explains why our high schools are rated very highly in the nation...and Centennial High School scored the all time high score on "Its Academic" against a snobby richie-rich kid daughters of the American Revolution school in Virginia and a snobby government/diplomat school in Washyton (I think Obama's kids go to that school);the team composed of an Indian kid and two Korean kids from my beloved county kicked booty.......we were very proud of them....and I have written a long run-on sentence with no end.....ANYWAY....being lazy, I buy Kimchee base from the asian market and do it the easy way. I have always done it with raw stuff, whether cabbage, or spinach (very good too!). I am going to try your recipe as it sounds intriguing.
As far as refrigerating Kimchee....in my college days, we made it and buried it in the backyard of the apartment that I lived in and dug it up months later. Unfortunately, we sometimes buried under the influence of Soju....which we called Jin Ro, and though we thought we marked our kimchee pots, we sorta didn't remember the mark that well. Hence, I dug up kimchee almost a year later....ate it and felt absolutely better for doing so.
I am wondering if you have heard tell of it's medicinal and longevity powers?

| Marty, This is just a natural way to get the healthy enzymes back into a cooked food.... Sort of like the juicer diet where u get enough natural enzymes for your diet.... I sort of need cabbage or some sort of raw veggies every day to be on top of my chi game.... but you can also get this from yogurt and unprocessed foods... In other words we are tearing our insides out with refined sugar and flower and soda water, and red meat and all of the antibiotics from our meat... I eat 3 to 4 raw onions a week, and the garlic goes fast too So the enzymes keep this in check... Like probiotics after antibiotics... So the question is how often do you feel good on your diet, do you get sick often or even remember getting sick I don't do the politics thing, and who is better at what than others.... I leave the reader to figure out the context from their personal understanding Love and Light

But, you see, I do do that.....for if I didn't we would still be shooting cows, congs and kids.
We have differing views on this.....your response to a scenario goes one way, and mine goes another.
Suffice it to say, that all of us must (and do) make judgements every single moment, based on "the politics thing" and "who is better than others" my response is direct and yours is passive.....would you agree with that assessment?????

| Marty, I sort of feel or agree to your assessment. I will just add that I feel that none is wrong or right, but I am supposed to look at this as things I would not do, and ways I do not want to be or appear to be.... So yes I see stuff, but looking past it allows me to see better things... And how I feel will not change a single iota subscript, so why draw negative feelings, as there is no end to the things that can upset us if we ponder each perceived thing that seems wrong, and it just be we do not want to be that way, or can not be that way.... | Marty, I wanted to share that when you start feeling emotions in the heart, it can be very difficult to understand, as so few people have ever experienced this. So read the information below Carol Hwoschinsky article in the Sentient Times, “Healing The World From The Inside Out” (2004)
Scientific findings applied to Compassionate Listening concur. For instance, recent research on the heart reveals new information on its direct effect upon the brain and on perception. In Hwoschinsky’s article.. she notes the remarkable fact that “sixty to sixty?five percent of the heart’s cells are actually neural cells, identical to those in the brain [and this] indicates that the heart is a major center of intelligence in human beings.” Therefore, focusing on heart?centered emotions of empathy and compassion allows our brain to be engaged—as well as all other organs of the body—in positive ways. In addition, better physical health is the result of loving thoughts about ourselves and others. It becomes a process that feeds upon itself. Location: Nigeria | My instinct was saying I am missing something here on board.I took time to realize it was something here - Metaphysics, Korean food and Karma, yes, these are vital ingredients of life and enlightenment if I may humbly say. Muslims and Arabs, unlike Indians and Chinese, have a different interpretation of Karma (Qadr).

Location: Nigeria | Yes, a point taken Fox, like Metaphysics, I don't think I follow the idea that is was discovered only recently. I want to believe it always has been - neither eastern or western in nature, for it is the art of the Source.

Yes Danny, I also believe and am convinced by preponderance of evidence, that metaphysics has existed from the beginning of time.
And, since I also believe that time has no beginning (as I am not a believer in the Big Bang, since no one can explain what was before the Big Bang, and not one single physicist, traditional or quantum, can explain time to me within the first .00000000000001 second of the Big Bang---where a universe the immensity of ours was created and dispersed at the distances that exist at our time) I would say that metaphysics has an eternal quantity and quality.
Metaphysics' origin is the first manifestation of the energy that powers all, whatever that energy might be named....God, Pacific Gas & Electric, or The Rolling Stones.....names are not important.
An example of what I think Metaphysics is not: Where I am on sure footing and never uneasy is history. When my dander is up is when folks try to "golly-gee isn't this omg profound" me with things like certain books and movies done by an Australian telly producer.........when what she and cohorts say has been said before, not only once but time and time and time and time before.....wasn't there a Greek dude who lectured on the principle of attraction.....were there not ancient metaphysical tomes explaining the various attractions via humours and elements.....why are the current books and movie cloaked in such mystery and unknown...just waiting for you to pay money and discover the secret, the further secret, and the super-duper secret that no one will ever tell but will be told now.....and that is that the secret is that there is a secret that is secret but you can know it for only $19.99 plus shipping and handling? I mean, God didn't charge nothing for stuff, nor did Allah, nor Buddha, etc.
Reverend Ike, more in line with our modern day attractionistas, actually did charge for his message concerning attracting money, the more you gave the more you got.....unexpected checks in the mail....."You can't lose with the stuff I use"..... a mixture of God, Bible and the Dream Team, constantly walking the crowd with the collection basket. Now there Fox: you may not change anything one iota, nor might I, nor might we together.....but I still believe we should try to recognize wrong and work for right in the here and now. The man below that you might chose to watch was a truly charismatic speaker, even hypnotic in a fashion. He preached a form of the very same thing I disdain....as I watch after many years gone by, I am still sure that I would have somehow resisted and fought for that which is right and just. However, this is not to say that he was not a "metaphysical" leader....he most certainly was.......and based on a long tradition of metaphysics. Unfortunately, metaphysics is not always the province of "good guys".....sometimes there are the bad.....and the ugly!!!!! | Marty, I will agree that the big bang theory did not happen if you agree that 5 legged chicken tastes really good, my theory is like yours, in that If I can't catch one then it must taste real good, and be super fast, just under the speed of light, otherwise they would be on sale everywhere Love and Light

Before you say it, yes I changed my avatar again. I believe this one will stick for awhile. It best describes my belief in "As above, so below" and of course the reincarnation of souls. We are born, we live, we pass and then do it all again. Bit more complicated than that but..........
