Location: The Heart of Space | Hello all,
To the Americans whom are amongst us......another little wrinkle in history that I would like to share.....by the time of this post, 235 years ago, the Declaration of Independence is on way to the thirteen states, no longer colonies. It would take a while for all to receive the news.
BUT, the first people to read about it and read the declaration's words were the people in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The morning of July 5th, people would read the most beautiful words of revolution; that is if they could read GERMAN! Yeah......Tea Pottyiers......GERMAN, not "American." It was first published in GERMAN!!!!!
This country became the greatest country on the face of the planet because of those who came here from someplace else. No insult to Native Americans and no insult to those who live in other countries, many of which I would live in in a heart beat, but the dynamism of the letters USA is due to peoples from all over the world, coming to our shores.
To this very day, people come here to find a better life than what they have. How they get here is not my concern. The fact that they think so great of this country, enough to take high risks, is evidence to me of the sincerity of desire to be here. Yet, there are those who would seek to turn them away and cast them out. In my view, this defeats the ideals and goals of this country.....as articulated so many years ago.

Location: Nigeria | Bravo, Mart dear for saying the truth which I believe has set you free. To Freedom I sometimes ask what art thou? Political stability, financial prosperity or what.? I sometimes answer myself in the innate belief that freedom is in everyone and everything. So, very unfortunately, is bondage. You are free with yourself you are free everywhere. You believe you are poor or in bondage, you are. I don't know... yet, I salute thee; free people of the USA and free people everywhere. Remain FREE!

It is as if you were reading my thoughts. But let me amplify.......
We (those of us in the USA) are blessed with political stability, and, in a comparative way, financial prosperity. I would hope that I do not offend those in America that are fairing badly.....I know the pain......and I know also that I am in deep trouble when it comes to old age with no family....all I am saying is that compare what we have with say, a family in Niger or parts of Ethiopia, or many other places, and one can easily see that the comparison favors us.
Freedom is PRECISELY what it claims to be.
An individual spirit and soul can be, by birth and place, in a condition of bondage. You will be starved, beaten, told what to do, told what to think, and then rewarded with more starvation and beatings (figuratively and literally) and you will accept such as there is no other choice, no choice at all! The one who holds the chain controls the destiny of the one who is chained. The holder of the chain is invincible and cannot be defied.
In the American concept of freedom, all of the above can happen to me and you...with the exception that if it happens to me, then it is ME that holds the chain of bondage. If it happens to you, then it is YOU that bind yourself. You can succeed or fail here, the key point being that you have the freedom to do so!!

Location: Nigeria | Much as we must sympathize with our brothers and sisters in bondage by choice or by circumstance, suppression is suppression anywhere. It remains a duty to us to succeed and not fail. Besides,success as you know is relative. A people could be seen as retrogressive while they look unto themselves as progressive so is the vise-vasa. This too Marty is a psychological issue best explained in our metaphysical parlance.

Here is a sincere British girl who holds freedom very dearly....what she may not know is that folks march and chant far worse things in the USA....which is now a deeply divided country along many boundaries. And, I reassert my interpretation of astrology by reiterating that what we see now is the Age of Aquarius. Location: NE Ohio | With so much happening. ... the 4th came and went without even barely taking notice. I don't feel free at all and mostly ticket of at our new world USA. Roots and cop killing losers. They are just stopping so low, I'm embarrassed to be from here. I do not represent such stupidity. I am all for our cops! Praying (sending white light)in hopes they get home to their loved ones too. Some funky shhht going down here and i may want to stay in my own world. |
