But there is positive flow of energy and the way we feel about those who give reads.... This process of doing free reads was never intended for people just to sign up and never post on the UMS website, or for them to just become a member to get a free read, and not provide feedback... | Dear Tonya, I want to know if you post something on the UMS forum, or do some sort of interaction, as it would help me to feel where you are coming from, as too often people get a free read and just split, as reads do help, the purpose of spirituality is to look to within and to find we all have our own answers, and others here can help too, so will you please respond to another post or start a new post with a issue of some kind.... I see you commented on spirit guides, and getting to know their names or is it you are trying to understand how they work better, as they do not really have names, that is sort of a human idea that we need to know what to call them... So they usually provide a name to appease us, but it is not necessary for them to operate, or be understood, it is just something we need for our comprehension.... So the issue is we just contact our guardians and ask that only something with the highest good come forth for our understanding, and to be appreciative, not to worship them, but to be reverent and thankful, as all road lead to the truth once we decide we are going there. I definitely wasn't trying to get a read and leave. I have browsed the website and feel as though many of the topics are wayyy over my head. I click on a topic thinking it will be something I understand and when I get into it I'm thrown off by the discussion. I don't want you to feel as though I'm taking your gift for granted. So a start point helps me and I have that now... No Problem, I will still get you a read.... I understand your concern about the depth of discussions on the board. We are a diverse group of individuals who come from many different cultures and beliefs.The human race is approaching 7 billion souls. Amoung them are many varied and different beliefs. We here, for the most part believe that we can openly discuss all metaphysical/religious or personal beliefs.
If you have questions, please feel free to ask as there are those amoung us from all walks of life. The idea is to gain perspective from our discussions. That being said, you obviously are free to accept or to not accept the merit of any discussion.

As for the Psychic Reads offering/thread, that is something that Foxfires has volunteered here for, but I think it might need to be said that is under FF's own volition, not something that is a UMS offering. As such, I think people taking part in FF's offering perhaps need to be aware that this section of the Board discussion is a completely open - and international forum - and therefore might need to be careful about disclosing information about themselves that is private or personal to them.
I also think that if Psychic Reads are offered in this way, any ground rules that FF might wish to stipulate might better be stated at the commencement of the thread, and continue to be underwritten throughout. I think this is all an extremely delicate area.
As for topics here being way over anyone's head, it shouldn't read that way at all. Everyone of us is all here to learn, and from each other too. Including from new members!

I was just roaming through the discussion board. I must admit I have not been here in quite a while. My intent is to learn more about the discussion board so that I can use this knowledge in my interactions with students. I am not sure if we have connected before.
