| Hello, I am an employee at UMS. I can tell you that I have talked with many students and for many of them they are already doing what they want to do. Some are yoga instructors, meditation leaders, reiki practitioners, others are authors. Many of them wanted to have a diploma to show that they have actually studied the field they work in, but also to help them understand the many facets of metaphysics. It can also be helpful for them to be able to answer questions about many different metaphysical areas that might have been outside of their expertise. It can at show you how to send someone in the right direction to find the information they are looking for in you can't just answer their question off hand. I hope this has been helpful for you.
