Hi all....
PJay, I fell head over heals in love with the lead singer,  but managed to think that you might enjoy the group. Check out the guy's guitar.
Also, I ran across track one on this:
I believe that Immrama is part of the soundtrack for the flic "Smilla's Sense of Snow" which was a pretty good movie and a great book.
Hope you enjoy!
Peace and Paws,
Marty and Kitty Kats

Hey Kiddie.....

Well now, another lady that I just absolutely fall in love with....her voice is magnificent. And, she reminds me so much of Lisa Gerrard, from Dead Can Dance.

If you are up for something truly bizarre (I mean in a nice way) check out a Shoutcast station, "Vampiria"; (Ambient genre) originating from Greece, but this guy and his all girl dj staff play some of the most eclectic mix of music I have ever heard. I can do without some of the dark metal and "goth" that they play, but the gothic, new age, shaman, meditation and Celtic music is fantastic. And, it is multinational! Get to hear French, German, Greek, Irish, and Welsh plus some languages I can't make out.   Cool beans!!!!!!!!!

Peace and Cat's Paws,

Marty and Luck, Popp, and Siss

Thanks for the links Marty, I actually placed the meditation player on my website. It's very beautiful.

I do love music that is very relaxing, I use some of them in my hypnosis recordings.

Blessings~

Having survived extermination, the offspring bring you a song of innocence, that which is biblical. The young girl is very much into it.....the choir takes a while to warm up and never captures the true spirit....I cannot find Ofra singing it.....she is Yemeni.....but I am sure that she would be proud of these women, who are RICH, as they have chosen to raise their voices in the song......the only song......everlasting!

In keeping with the theme....as this is stochastic and NOT synchronistic music....it is the forum for the widest expanses of your mind.....I offer you a man who changed .....when he and Robyn Hitchcock (who went on to form The Egyptians) and Billy Thorpe (who did "Children of the Sun" were together, they did a song called "Creature With the Atom Brain" which they never performed live. Here is Roky's version, after his redemption?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PJ21m2PfhU

But, Roky was also lead singer for the group "13th Floor Elevators" in the time when I was young and entranced by the music....and their song "You're Gonna Miss Me" is a psychedelic classic........I'll add it since the end of Brain is harsh.....

I told you......Peace and Love...

Why post this?
1) I believe that stories around this time (800 AD) were most likely sung, just as the all praised Greeks did in their time!
2) It is writtten in ENGLISH, a language most of us share...but not like this.
3) It gives us a slim chance to hear how people may have talked in their time..something which I find magical!
Here ya go.....this is an excerpt from Beowulf...not some sillyass CGI movie, but what many listened to so many years before the internet, tv, radio, sound discs, wax tubes,  the REAL DEAL!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VX_mDfRib8k

He is not speaking Med-Germanic....he is speaking English!!!! Our language......

Enjoy!

Dear Sir Professor O-Marty O

Sticking, stucking, stocking out here in ffrozen Brit-land, kept trying innumerable times to wade through to that guitar, but never quite ... such long days, here, doing what must be done - referred to you just now over on another thread - keep in touch; less is more, so is said; will try again, only if you are there

sufi hazrat inayat khan

that name came from my fingers, not from my mind

capitalized,

Sufi Hazrat Inayat Khan

in the words of, Benjamin J. Grimm,

'nuff said

except, this:

(ha ha: joke never over)

for Ahmad: from Kenya, I still play my beloved Goat's skin drum [you evoked what follows, thanx]

for NE: so many threads across time and Eternity: no reflection, No-thing: just, Ever

for Lori: holiness

for Rachel: such a welcome return

for Aquarius: when, actually, how long ago, did we first meet?

for Marty: catholic means, either everything, or Catholic Truth (Meister Eckhart/Jean d'Arc rules ok ! x)

for Stillness: being Here, Now

for Kukla: nothing is forgotten, everything loved

for Sunflower: Iris-blossom-blooms

for Crystal: how stone becomes spirit and vice ver'sa

for Kirsten: aspirational joy

for Lyonna: how so the wonderful God tells stories through and with us

for Kiddo Green: blessings

for Cause: spirit = water = earth = fire = air = word

for Tracy: contact !

for Jillifer: smiles and no intellectualising

for Sunflower: upon your Eternal Return

> so sorry to those more recent posters, the above just came to mind as a loving response to dear friends, recent and time out of mind; if anyone has been left out, that may be a good sign, so the dark angels may not yet see Thee - but just give us a ring on the mobile and I shall not be far ... <

Ohhhhhhh........nothing there!!!!!!!
Then, I will cut it short.....Blues Project disbanded and a band called Seatrain grew out of it. They did a song that I really liked and I thought the imagery that this person did on utube was "cute". But, I thought the theme was even better....because I HAVE faith in you all....PeaJeh, Ackwah, Danjew, Trayzee et al!

We were searching for friends in Romania and came across this really neat song that some young people sing. The guy who posted it is in Cluj. His slide show does not show any real mountains, yet they sing about mountains so lustily....maybe they have been to the Carpathians.
Anyway...I thought it was pretty good.

Hi Paulo Giuseppe.....
Lux Interior just died  at age 62.....he was lead singer for the Cramps.....oh, DocJ, he is really an Ohio kid, from Stow, named Erick Purkhiser. While I was not a great fan of the Cramps, I did, indeed, like Poison Ivy...whom Lux met when she was hitchhiking in Kali4kneeah. Why couldn't I have met her....my kinda girl! Mr. and Mrs. Ivy must be proud of their daughter, Poison.
Everybody young is like "SO WHAT????". You have heard good old Lux, he is...was....a character voice in Spongebob SquarePants.

Well now....the Brits living strigoi (you eastern Europeans will know what I am saying) pj Harvey has done a new song with that guy she is with some of the time.....I'd post the U2be link but I cannot remember the name of the song.....she starts out with a handclap and then sings an Estonian chant.....and the guy is playing the banjo. She is one truly weird girl!!!!!
But, I liked the song very much.

Marty and Herzogovian Cats, Luckster, Popster and Sisster

Sorry folks...I can't find it but it is, indeed, on u2be.....if you do come across it, you will be amazed at the song. To complete the zombie persona, she is wearing a black dress with black lace......I truly think she is really dead, but is not aware of it.

I started this one because certain posts seem to have the theme of Metaphysics=MegaMoney.
I wanted them to hear the opening verses since it deals with said theme of money.
Then I remembered that there was this kick-a## metaphysical rap that Burton Cummings does in the song....so I thought Paulio might be interested....."up the thirteen steps the condemned...." AND then I remembered that after Burton finishes, Randy Bachman plays one of the most well thought out psychedelic guitar riffs that exist from this movement of music; and I thought I got to pollute Zen-0-tron's ears again.

Here ya go...they were Canadian so I hope it just plays without a lot of borderline bs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xn_o0-ORJ8

Oh....I am editing this one....Zenneebabee....I am a fair weather fan of AudioSlave;
Paulino...yours just simply would not play for me.....somfink about content restricted.

I knew you'd spot it a mile away.....it's Angel Eyes talking to the old lady in the wagon after he spots Tuco, with Blondie lurking in the distance. Truly a metaphysical funfest of a movie for all. Sort of a "passion play."
Oh jeez, no song this evening. I am going to do a vid clip for Zenster. I want him to see a man of the cloth with, at least, his own head squarely on his shoulders.

Yeah ... I thought of 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' as a kind of Dance of Death .... the scene two-thirds through where the Civil War doctor becomes a hero, resembling The Plague (La Peste) by Camus ... doing what could only be done for the good in that quiet way of healing whilst everyone else is killing each other.

Bit like The Seventh Seal also. Then again, for me, many of Clint's touch on the metaphysical: Outlaw Josey Wales, in terms of outcasts, pilgrimage and followership, Two Mules for Sister Sarah, a complete undercutting of it all, with the most amazing opening sequence ... and of course, Pale Rider:

"Do you drink whiskey ....? [bad guy]"
"Only after nine in the morning [Preacher/Clint/Pale Rider (or is he)] "

then again, "Not for the good it shall do, but that nothing be left undone on the borders of the impossible" (T S Eliot)

I am realizing that strict metaphysical people don't like music....I guess it is sorta like 7th Day Adventists...or  8th Day Adventists ( that's the church for those who are habitually late ).
I heard the Lucifertians were all up in arms as a record had a Christian message in it when played backwards.
There is a beautiful seg from Ludivico Eaunadi's tune to Moby's "Wait For Me" but I cannot post it as it is not a UTube, but an Echoes music bit. Echoes requires a subscription for most stuff, and I can't rip it, at least not with the older computers that I use.
Sooo..........here is a tune that we now hear during the World Cup festivities, but I heard this back a ways and thought Jan Ackerman (sp?) was a primo guitarist.
This is a group called Focus doing a song called "Hocus Pocus" ....... shake your life up a little...yodel in the shower after you hear this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Marty, here we go again. "I am realizing that strict metaphysical people don't like music....I guess it is sorta like 7th Day Adventists...or 8th Day Adventists ( that's the church for those who are habitually late )." I'm guessing that this comes under the heading of an exception to every rule. My wife, whom has been on the board from time to time and quite metaphysical, if you consider 24/7 as being strict. She is planning a month long sojourn to Peru based on the music of the people. I also enjoy music (mostly classical) as well as another that posts here once in awhile is metaphysical and he/she is a musician.

you must understand that I'm bored to tears with my bum knee and waiting for surgery to replace it. Consequently, I'm not going to let anything slide. lol
How's tricks? is Sis doing ok? Hope she is well!

"Bum knee" is not that a strange astrological configuration (sorry, British humour) - but maybe you are embodying an Odin archetype - did he not used to manifest as an old man with a stick, then in the Marvel comics, hit it on the pavement and it tutned into an axe and he the Thunder God ?

I met him once at a crossroads (did)

As for music, did you listen to the You Tubes? Music from the Jewish-Spanish Diaspora, still, actually, oppressed

Sad old World

Wednesday is named afer Odin, who some associaate to the Tarot's Hanged Man,
that can carry some message of Power and Powerlessness.
Maybe its like lemons to make lemonade.

Capricorn rules the knees and Pluto transiting could correlate to a knee thing for some,
don't take it personally.

The Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) is traditionally passed down in Sanskrit,
a sort of rythmic chant language that acts to preserved the teachings,
and this could be another example of Musical Metaphysics.

Great links Paddy, thanks

see you at the Crossroads

the best musical Metaphysician, one of, was Sufi Hazrat Inayat Khan, whose book, Music (or maybe, 'On Sound' so long since I read it - in the 1970s), tells of how everything is sound, nothing exists without it, the sacred Hum, or Aum, of creation. Shame not all Muslims seem to agree with him

WARNING.....THE VIDEO THAT ACCOMPANIES THE SONG PORTRAYS THINGS THAT EVERY GRADE SCHOOL AGE CHILD HAS SEEN....WHETHER SOME WANT THEM TO OR NOT! YET, THERE ARE THOSE WHO MAY FIND THE IMAGERY DISTURBING. REMEMBER, YOU CAN ALWAYS CLICK THE X BUTTON IN THE TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER OF YOUR SCREEN AND ALL OFFENSE, CONTROVERSY AND NEED FOR SUPREME AND SUPER SUPREME COURTS GOES AWAY....RIGHT AWAY...YOU NEED NOT WAIT YEARS AND YEARS AND GIVE TONS OF MONEY TO LAWYERS TO BLOT OUT THE STIGMA THAT THE MODERN EVERY DAY IMAGERY PORTRAYS.

(Geez....now, I have all the moderators on edge and everyone else who knows me is saying...."OMG, what is he gonna do this time???"

No offense to our German friends, but, the Germans have always been one step beyond the bleeding edge of science, art, architecture, cinema and music. Sometimes to the point of offending sensibilities. The most prominent example is a film called "The Human Centipede" which I shall not discuss since I just had a nice Salmone Ville D'Este with garlic bread.

The song, to my tin ear, is a pretty good song, that has a message. It is in German. Doesn't matter, the intent is very clear. It is, after all is said and done, a love song...German style!

Here ya go..........

I have always been a fan of this group, I guess because of the childlike quality of the music and the sheer joy in playing and singing. They have not grown old as compared to wrinkle-city Stones and other hanger on groups.
Anyway, this is from 1978.
What fascinates me is the psychological nuances of the performance.....the crowd control....the charisma....the community of spirit as people dance together, in unison, to a ridiculous song...but one that has symbolic meaning to all who were there. To this day, I am carried away by the third movement when the guitar and bass player lay down that heavy beat and our beloved lead singer goes through the taxonomy of fish.
There is great insight in the things most consider insignificant!

This offering has an ominous background......IABD band (Its A Beautiful Day) play a concert in Germany and a thunderstorm rolls up as dawn breaks. They finale with a song called "Wasted Union Blues" and some manic things happen. By the way, the lead girl singer is not David LaFlammes wife, Linda, his wife is on keyboard but you don't see her as she believed that if the camera captured her image she would die....so she casted her spirit to the lead singer. Patty Santos. Her drug/spirit fueled performance is classic.
For those that do.....enjoy!!!!!

Hey there NeferTiX2,
Ahhhh....Bjork of the Sugarcubes....the Brits were nuts over her at one time. Her pop was a union leader and her mum was a political activist and, I think, served in government in Iceland. Not sure about the last bit; my Icelandic history is keener on the ice fairies than on the politicians.....I can never spell their names, let alone pronounce them. Worse than Welsh...they seem to like back to back to back consonents.
     But, she is not royalty.

Believe me, the answer is easy!

Edited because the cats reminded me I forgot to sign this,

Peace,

Welcome Fayrii,

No Bjork and no Utah Saints (they only had one really good song with a female lead).

Okay, our trivia lady:  In the United States, her single reached #13 in March 1983 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #9 on Radio & Records, and was the 20th biggest selling single in the US that year.

She recorded the song in 1982 while still with this super group, alas, the last year the group would be together.

She is known as "Her Serene Royal Highness....."

Peace y'all,

Marty, Poppyhead, Luckylee

See that Doc, watch her rock, she's a Dancing Queen!!!!!! Way to go, Doctor J.

She is formally styled Her Serene Highness Princess Anni-Frid Synni Reuss of Plauen following her marriage to a German prince of the former sovereign House of Reuss in 1992.

Under the solo name Frida, she recorded "Something Going On" and said goodbye to ABBA.

Well there Doc.....it seems that metaphysical people don't know or care about music except for you.....I think that it is they don't see the importance, or lack thereof, of the milieu.
Unimportant for the now..but very important for why Katy Perry sings the way she does....who were the original Yardbirds? By the way, a contemporary artist, Citizen Cope does a song whose piano cords dup another song....done by?  The Yardbirds!

But then againl what do we know,,,,,,the Beatles or the Rolling Stones....here comes the sun!!!!!!

Excuse me Marty - hello and welcome - have some others of us not been posting here ... including new friend and poster here, Fayrii...

Maybe we should congratulate Sir Paul McCartney who is getting married as we speak. Drove past his house today (name dropper, moi?) and itwas very busy with satellite dishes and newsvans ...

Yardbirds, were they not a group from Birmingham UK? Not sure if Stevie Winwood was involved, maybe Spencer Davies ....

How great to read about Sir Paul... i always loved Beatles music. Marty is right when it comes to most metaphysical peeps... we do connect through all types of music, even the sound of nature. Sound is one of our greatest senses and we tend to take it for granted. Well, some don't but many do.

I DJ and host Karaoke twice a week at two different places and DJ weddings (which is very time consuming and rather hard). My favorite music is most likely Alternative. Rock and UK music, but there is a new Genre.... with-out looking it up, who can tell me what Dubstep is?
It is currently sweeping the nation in a big fashion. Skrillex is one artist that has mastered it.

Play away..... HUGS

I post a wide range of stuff mostly to get a reaction...that being...someone posts a really good song 'cos mine stink and I am the beneficiary of that really good song.

This composition is from my new phase in this waning life, it is called Dark Buddha Rising and will appeal to fans of  metal for the first minutes or so, and then will take on a more mystical value...as is the goal of  metal....to have some meaning?  The song is not for the faint hearted, and I hope that no one suffers to much.

Hiya Santa Cause,

     Many happy holidays to you!

Stochastic music is just what it is...........the ancients did not have a computational machine, but the music is the same as it is today.

Our "inner ear" is attuned to certain frequencies and that is how we respond. Doesn't ANYONE question why dudes drive small cars with speakers that pump the bass up beyond normal hearing?

It is what invading forces did....the Saxons and the Goths and the Picts and all those other guys....

And now all our musical metaphysicians.......this person, a pop singer and actress, is an AO and OBEShe lives in Florida along with the entire nation of Great Britain ( a little joke at the expense of Pauly). She also has a connection to Quantum Physics!

Just whom might this person be, and what is her connection to the quantum world??

Peace to all,

So we have a song about someone who abhors what some consider a very comforting sound........obviously not metaphysical since she sings

contrary to nature.......

AND.......as a juxtaposition but, at the same time, an affirmation....we got a little white girl singing a nifty song AND they both, metaphysically, say the same thing! Sorta reinforces the message that I want to portray?

I've been in a cognitive rut... just having issues, but am going to Cleveland Clinic. Gives me some hope. My best friend is also suffering with massive cancer stage 4, which is spreading. That has hit me rather hard. Good seeing you great peeps. Miss ya. I will be around... while my PC is going to have major surgery, i should be back up in a couple days max. I am replacing the motherboard, processor, hard drive, and RAM. I am building my kids a PC as my PC now is the organ donor.

HUGS and Blessings~

Hello Stochastic Music Fans:
You will see why Britain has got talent, and perhaps one who will become most notable in the dying genre of opera....which is one of my personal favorite forms of music aside from punk, psychedelic, acid, ambient, gothic, chant, etc., etc., etc.
My comments are:
Simon apparently was aware of the original recording and thought that Charlotte would do a Celine;
Jonathan was far better than Andrea Bollajelly...what a name for an Italian guy.......
While I think they might get through as a duo, the prodigy is Johnathon Antoine....
And, g*$dam% right, Britain's got talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the link doesn't work then cut and paste.....you WILL NOT regret what you see....I gaurantee it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jilly and the few that look at this post.......
Yes, she sang okay and he sang beyond belief but DID YOU NOT SEE what happened? We are all somehow, someway, connected to the broad concept of a metaphysical world. Am I, a highly skeptical person, the only one who noticed???????

Marty,

Yes we are all connected, a few others seem to see this too.  Mantras seem to be a good way to feel the energy.  I still think something powerful was released at Woodstock, that before this time energy only was channeled by a few

Hiya Foxius et alius:
I think you guys are missing it.....okay....watch it again and watch his eyes at the start of the song.....what happens explains why he started early and had to get his bearings by looking at Charlotte.
My opinion is that he sang better than Pavarotti; and he is just 17 years old. That is a phenomenon in and of itself. The events at the start of the song lead me to believe that there was something extraordinary in that performance. Perhaps something out of the natural realm of things.
Gifted people are, indeed, gifted. But, even SuBo and JEcho are limited and confined by the scope and range of talent that is innately granted by our plane of existence. JEcho is a little girl and her voice will change. SuBo is at the maximal level of her career, which started and finishes at the same level....her voice will not mature as she is a mature woman to begin with, and blessed with a pleasant voice. But neither exhibit the extraordinary.
Backstory as I see it.......and soley based on the exit interview......she asks about what just happened and he says...."life changing well yeah to be honest"......and she says "I THINK FOR YOU...". Isn't our Charlotte a smart young lady?????

Of course I must leave you with yet another way of looking at things......Michael Shrieve, a white hippy kid from San Francisco (can you feel the vibes?) is just about 20 years old. He goes to New York with a band that was known as the Santana Blues Band, a very heavy Latino band . In Bethel, New York they played a song called "Soul Sacrifice". Young Michael drives the song and electrifies the crowd with a most brilliant drum solo in the midst of a bevy of Latin American drummers. I would say that performance was out of the ordinary.....but then again.....a world of peace and love and caring for one another was absolutely supernatural and spiritually sublime. I do hope some of you, and maybe all, enjoy this. Oh.........I know the blondie girl with the glasses!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HXGTgNGUPw

Paws for Peace,
PsychoMarty, Luckylee and Weezy (aka Poppyhead) ..... hey, she hangs in and lives to see another day, so I am as happy as a lark.....whatever a lark is!!!!!!!

Marty,

From: "I think you guys are missing it....."  I did not get the who, what, where and when of this discussion.  So I typically stay out of it

sto·chas·tic/st??kastik/

Adjective:
Randomly determined; having a random probability distribution or pattern that may be analyzed statistically but may not be predicted...

It to me seems like the term could be substituted with a thousand other words to indicate no claim to anything tangiable or defineable.  The point can be randomly moved at any point in the conversation, by definition.  So it seems to lack true description, and there is no predictable path to forecast.

So yes I never got the point, but I thought that was the point, to not understand, just to enjoy if you can, what was shared

Hiya Foxieeeeeeee: Wow! That was beautiful!! And, by not getting it and getting it , you got it!!! In public speaking, opening remarks are designed to engage the audience. Not with an expected outcome, but with a design to capture attention. Hence.............. .......I am not so much interested in whether people agree or disagree, BUT am moreso interested in how people interpret what they saw. When he breathes he slightly nods up and his eyes roll back in his head.....a sure sign of fainting......or feeding if you happen to be a shark......then he starts but at the wrong time....he opens his eyes and turns to his anchor of reality....THEN the spirit that possesses him has a firm grip on the worldly and he begins again to sing with authority. You can, by virtue of a wise cameraman, see his hand shake....nervousness....maybe........possession...definitely a sign!!! The finale is a back of the throat higher note that has to be sustained...as you notice he cannot hold it as long as would be desired but he nails it straight on in pitch and tone, and resonance. There are sooooo many metaphysical avenues of discussion that this engenders. And, so many practical ones. If the world thinks that now his friends are not going to take the "mick" out of him then the world is dead wrong. His friends, who bully him for certain reasons, will be even more cruel. WHY? Because they ENVY him 'cos people stood up and cheered him several times on a big show. Not to mention that he has the devotion of a good lookin' bird. (Pardon my 60's Brit slang...still used today by the way...some journalist told the corpse that is Ron Wood that his girlfriend was a good looking bird at the Tribeca Film Festival currently going on in Nueva Jork Ciudade, aka, NawYawk, on the map New York City......I am from Brooklyn by the way, and we don't consider ourselves as part of New York City....thats someplace we go on the subway, somewhere in New Jersey or Kansas or Ar-Kansas......someplace like that! Another reason why I encourage folks to watch the Micheal Schrieve link (aka Santana at Woodstock) is that totally independent of these posts, Dr. Mark Muesse uses Mike's precise picture in his course on Confucius, Buddha, Jesus and Muhammed. I did not know this before posting the video. I discovered this via a "Great Courses" dvd set.....it is on disc 2. INCREDIBLE that he and I see the significance of what happened!!!!!

Marty,
We are all here for primary reasons, and no ones life is wrong or a waste, and god don't make junk
So everything done in this realm has a reason. A person who looks like they are demon possessed for instance, or they look like they are tapping into higher or dark side energy, well I am pretty sure that people of old conquered the negative energy or what is viewed this way to perform work or energy tricks for them. I do not recommend this practice, but only mention that Tessla, Einstein, and Solomon seemed to have this energy under control in their works and what they did. Yes these energies probably chew up the novice person who grabs hold of it and decides to try to own it.
I watched the movie with Patrica Arquet, Stigmata, and the priest near the end was trying to kill her for what she knew, as he was casting the spirit of lust from her. Well shut in lust on a person, and life flow ceases when the desires go missing TOTALLY. There is what is called a black magician entity, and encounters with them are considered demonic, and they are either summoned or just show up in an important person's life, high energy persons that is. But inviting them into our life is not peaceful, as they can be bound by an agreement (I feel this is unhealthy) but people do what they do. Making agreements is ill advised, as these guys are here to teach us greed is not where the fun is.
So any person who does whatever they feel lead to do, has a reason. The people who get too negative in a lifetime are said to not be able to reincarnate again until the let go of certain aspects, or get banned from a reincarnation for the the near future, of coming back.
As we are all just energy in a meat suit or a body, and when things upset us too much, it happens for a reason, to get us to expand our patience to accept new things into our reality.
A hive of bees that is given a new queen, will kill a new queen if the workers get instant access to her, so they seal her in wax, where it takes 2 days to mine into her presence. So the energy she gives off makes the worker bees crazy at first, but then they adore her later.
Well we are like this with new energy, and experiences, what upsets us at first later becomes what we love, why because strong emotions run through us because of them.
So what we fear is where a possible desire resides. So yeah facing all of our fears means we can loose some zeal for life, but we also need to stay in the balance
We all agree we came from a high energy source, and the goal is to be able to interface with energy with minimal personal damage, and retain self identity.
Some of the people who were wrote about from over thousands of years ago, were seemingly able to hold the energy of humanity inside, and know of a higher energy and tap into it. Well one thing they did was never tell another they were wrong, or get critical with them. As the most constructive minds have the least objections to what others do and do not desire to control the population, just to help them.
Look at the CT scans of the geniuses, and they do not show high activity when thinking or processing problems, but they show the least activity in the brain than the lesser genius. And everything here is just to acclimate us to accept others as equals in as peaceful of a fashion as possible
But I feel the energy of Woodstock era was subdivided, and this event activated ley line energy that might have been dormant for a while, so people could again tap into earth's love. Remember these people told the US Govt to take this war and shove it I ain't killing for you no more as a children. Earth seems to have heard the cry, and sent help to the ones who sought peace, and would rather be persecuted than kill. But life was designed to be here and keep us distracted until we decided to allow ourselves to be persecuted, rather than to conquerer the earth and subdue the free will of of govt's opponents.
So these are my musing and ramblings

Marty,
I remember hearing the people from the churches saying the musicians were evil or satanic years ago. But looking 20 or 30 years into the future from the benchmark of this, well these people, some anyway are very peaceful and loving, and seem very content. And do not seem to trying to fill an empty void. But I look at the same types from then and they seem very upset and nervous and are burning religious materials of competing religions, and ask where did their love go, as they are found with white powdery substance in a plastic baggie, and their mom's appeal to the supreme court to keep the autopsy findings closed because of the poxitily of embareassmint. So who is kidding who, religion was meant to help people love and accept others, not to say another is ever wrong, just to let them have the holly spirit show truth from inside their heart.
Most people who are of different religions can not from a world stance interact in peace. I thoroughly enjoy the Jehovah's Witness knocking at the door, as I usually am one step ahead of them. And I share absolute love, they might ask do you know the God Jehovah and call the name and worship God this way, I might respond, why would I ever decide to limit and define my God of infinite love by naming it, And typically dismantle the argument posed from every response I generate.. They usually indicate most people do not know of god like you do toward the end. I try to never cut their harra line, only if they get rude in an called for situation... but the last few times I heard them say most people do not know god as you do, I decided to reply, that we all know God this way, but we are too afraid to tell people who knock on the door and feel they already have God in a box with with deployment directions. This has often been a show stopper to em, and they apparently stop knocking on doors and head out.
But hey are such a loving sort, and kind, so I am so gentle with em... Some of the Christian evangelicals though do not like to hear that the bible says Talk to the earth and the creatures there. I also apply a tether to their hearts as they oppose what I say, and watch as I talk to their higher and lower self.
So what some look at as a pain others look at as an opportunity for some fun.
But hey we are here, for the best stories to tell and how to keep em laughing when the long count is over. As a good spirit guide can get you rolling on the floor instead of shaking in you boots from fear. I still remember the time I told a Catholic Padre enough to cut his hara line in the confessional booth, it was the funniest thing I ever saw was him cringe and fold his nee as he was sure I was a no talent arse clown. And he told me to be careful with evil then and from now on, like he was going to propagate fear in me of an evil force from Holly Ground, I lit him up at that moment with speech and energy, I wont tell you what I said, but projecting fear on me just don't work too well for a person who had not seen what I have seen

Hiya again, Fellow Stochasticites:
In keeping with Santana and satanic, (no, not really, but I like how the phrase sounds...thanks, Foxerino) I offer you a song sung by an "official" "bona-fide" witch of the Wiccan tradition. Some of you may know her. For those that don't, she is Fiona Horne, who often sings with a rock group called def-fx or some such repetitive nonsense. I will not comment on this toooo much other than to say that the beats of my ticker tocked out at maximum overdrive.....but that is my problem and not anyone elses. I hope you all enjoy a true phenomena! And, maybe, someday I will do a successful link so you don't have to copy and paste.....but such talent escapes me...............................

But...copy and paste anyway, you will not regret that you did!

Please excuse me for not greeting everyone politely or properly.....but I KNEW, ABSOTIVELY AND POSILUTELY that SOMETHING WOULD HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is the 5th day of May +25 minutes as I write.....and YouTuuuuube will let you hear Mozambique, Hurricane and all the other songs on the Bobby Zimmerman (aka Bob Dylan) album" Desire", BUT you can't hear ISIS as it violates the SME copyright in this country! Maybe Pauly can post it? I don't think his copyrights are violated. I am not even sure what SME is, in my day it was ASCAP and BMI that were the royalties collectors.
I wanted to post it so that you might hear a most metaphysical, mystical song......each stanza pregnant with meaning....and a haunting violin to boot! I thought that by doing so, it might be a tribute to my long gone bride, Isis....the girl whom was taunted as retarded, and went on to university after we had wed......the woman who had countless conversations with me just by looking into each others eyes....and communicated at a distance.....the woman I loved......and the woman who loved me.

Closing stanza (as I know the song word for word):

Isis oh Isis you're a mystical child,
What drives me to you is what drives me insane!
I still can remember the way that you smiled,
On the 5th day of May in the drizzilin' rain....................................................................................the wedding reception was on the patio of Isis's Mom's house in Catlett, Virginia......it was cloudy for a while and then a soft rain fell..................

May you all find peace, love and happiness,

HA Marty,

I somehow missed this post. Shame on me. It made me smile too.

You would actually be proud of me, as I finally had enough and am evicting my long time best friend out of my rental house. I hated the fact that because of our friendship, she fails to put RENT into her budget now 5 times. She bounced 5 checks, which cost me and extra $100. She on some vacation now in Florida, having a hum ho time, took another friend, didn't bother telling me or asking me if I wanted to go.... While it has barely nothing to do with owing me rent, she also gets her hair professionally done, and professional hair color is not in my own budget... i have to do it myself. Which is hard. SO.... i have had it. I already notified her that she is moving out. Or she will be FORCED to move out.

Soooo, you are right... i think i always have to fix the world... and I just cannot. NOT MY PROBLEM! Can ya feel the release?

And I actually have that DVD of Susperia... ha ha, i even know the saying that they advertized it with, while brushing the back of the head, and it turns around and it's a skeleton. That freaked me out, enough to wanna see it. LOL, always loved scary movies.

I'm not done with surgeries... fun fun. Seeing a neck surgeon first part of May. Got the munchies, so gonna go find a healthy snack. YUM!

and I accept all the help i can get... (wink)

Much Love and HUGS

Back to the purpose of "Stochastic Music".....
......is to post songs! Music is the multi-dimensional-universal language.
I cannot believe that metaphyical people are tone deaf OR just like to strum guitars and play lutes and recorders in a little bedroom.
I think that everyone has a "favorite" song and some have more, many, much favorite songs. If something grabs you, and holds you, than it belongs on stochastic music.

Oh yes, I know, everyone is judgemental....BUT I hope about the songs and not about the poster of the song.

Won't someone speak out???????

P-Marty and you know who

Well, as you know Marty, Music is my life, but my life has been for the most part, stressed, highly. Soooo my music chosen has been somewhat aggressive and cruel. Groups like KoRn, Saliva, Trapt, Stabbing Westward... which is funny... because i have been stuck with HATE in my belly. So the lyrics to that song are perfect. Here they are, you will laugh, but what can I say, it's just expression of my EGO / protective side, being evil to a very deserving mean, cheating, lying and steeling ex-friend, who took advantage of my heart.

BTW, I didn't become her, so I am not in that mean mode anymore. Now I listen to LMFAO. Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle.... HA HA HA, Sick Lyrics below.

So here is how bad I had hurt and dedicated it to HER:

"The Thing I Hate" By Stabbing Westward

Lost in a world of doubt and insecurity
Nothing that you hold sacred, nothing you believe
Your life is a contradiction
While you thrive on manipulation
I fight to just hold on to what I believe

I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become you

You've treated me like I'm a worthless piece of s**t
You think you're in control but you make me sick
I want to watch you suffer
The way that you've made me suffer
I want to f**k up everything you've ever loved

I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become you

I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become the thing I hate
I won't become you

----------------
after that rage fest, I did a binding... she has since left me alone.

Hi all........

DocJjay...Stabbing Westward....the tune has a catchy beat, (to me) great lyrics, easy to dance to in a mosh pit, I rate it a 9.5 (my tribute to Dick and American Bandstand).

BUT NOW.....a little something for you Doc.....among all those I know and love here, I cannot possibly name every poster but all are thought of......we all strive (but you go above and beyond) to "make your contribution to the light"! By the way, what you will see and hear, the printed lyrics are somewhat wrong, but the message is loud and clear.

If I may do it the way I would have done it way back.....This is Ruppert the Rocker sittin' in the Rockin' chair pulling the trigger on those high caliber 45's! We got blasts from the past, ghosts from the coast, hot wax from the top to the bottom of the stax. This is dedicated to that  swinging chick from it starts with an O and ends with an O, and it 's high in the middle, it's Ohio.........................

Peace and Love to you, let the music be all around you!!!!

PsychoMarty, Luckylee, Poppyhead

Wow, I have never heard that song, but I liked it... and the lyrics. Listening to it as I type now.
It reminds me of a one man band that I really loved... "World Party".

That guy was not the average type, like the hottie Jarod Leto, of 30 Seconds to Mars... but the songs that World Party put out were
about our world.... realistic. Down to the nitty gritty... and one of his favorite quotes that I took on as my own borrowed quote is:
"blood just looks the same, when you open the veins".
That is beautiful.... and so TRUE!

Hiya Jillybeany....

Glad you enjoyed it...and I, in turn, enjoyed your song! For me, it was a little sad in a way, as I think of most people as much younger and so full of promise; which may or may not be fulfilled. I wish our community would enliven us with the exuberance of youthful dreams..just as the songs do.

Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight
I'm gonna open up your gate
And maybe tell you 'bout Phaedra
And how she gave me life
And how she made it end
Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight

Flowers growing on a hill, dragonflies and daffodils
Learn from us very much, look at us but do not touch
Phaedra is my name

Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight
I'm gonna open up your gate
And maybe tell you 'bout Phaedra
And how she gave me life
And how she made it end
Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight

Flowers are the things we know, secrets are the things we grow
Learn from us very much, look at us but do not touch
Phaedra is my name

Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight
Flowers growing on a hill
I'm gonna open up your gate

To celebrate the New Year, and in memory of 20 DEAD CHILDREN, may the leaders of the NRA take these words to heart:

I AIN'T AFRAID OF YOU NO MORE, BABE
I AIN'T AFRAID NO MORE
AFTER A WHILE YOUR CHEAP TALK DON'T EVEN CAUSE ME PAIN
SO LET YOUR BULLETS FLY LIKE RAIN

'CAUSE I KNOW ALL THE TIME YOU'RE WRONG
AND YOU'LL BE GOIN' JUST THE SAME

TEARING MY FAMILY APART - thanks to Jimi Hendrix

"""""Please remember that Jimi wrote and played this? song for the 58,000 brothers and sisters of ours and the hundreds of thousands of human beings who died for a lie and corporate profit. God help us all.*******

I completely understand the remorse of these songs and can understand why many are so against guns. BUT... i am not against guns, i am against those who are able to get them who shouldn't.

In another words, do we blame the cars for drunk drivers? NO! maybe we should get rid of cars! LOL ... my point is: we shouldn't blame guns for those who illegally use them.

IMHO: i think more training, regulations and education is our best defense against mentally ill people who turn to violence against the innocent. It's so sad to have such violence, and it's everywhere.

Here is few new songs i love: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GMQLjzVGfw (Houdini by Foster the People)

More spiritual to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkw2l5uAqmU (Walking on a Dream by Empire of the Sun)

one of my favorite's i cannot get out of my head because i love it and it's true! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hN5X4kGhAtU (We are the People - by Empire of the Sun)

Another one that is a great song... but messed up video, but still gotta watch it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABzh6hTYpb8 (Helena Beat by Foster the people)

Couldn't help myself... being a DJ on the side, i am bringing out the new music that brings meaning. This one feels to me like the future will be run by kids. Who knows if that is good or bad... just makes ya think!

Ring out Solstice Bells by Jethro Tull

I believe in Father Christmas by Emerson, Lake and Palmer

A Spaceman Came Travelling by Chris de Bergh

All on You Tube ... think I posted them before yonks ago so will not bore by repetition ..

Of the carols, I always liked,

O Come O Come Emmanuel (though that is strictly speaking an Advent hymn ..!)

Well Aqua.......you posted in another thread and I answer here....I gave you a clue.....reich mir die hand...

Dear Marty – sorry about taking so long to find this. I tried the link for ‘Reich mir die Hand’. Oh triple yuck!

If you insist on ‘Reich mir die Hand’, let it be ‘Reich mir die Hand, mein Leben…’ Don Giovanni, Mozart and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau are much more to my taste.

How about this one?

Songbird
For you there'll be no crying
For you the sun will be shining
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's all right I know it's right

And the songbirds keep singing
Like they know the score
And I love you I love you I love you
Like never before

To you I would give the world
To you I'd never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's all right I know it's right

And the songbirds keep singing
Like they know the score
And I love you I love you I love you

I don't think I've ever heard it performed by Fleetwood Mac. I will go to youtube straight away and listen to their version. I first heard it sung by Eva Cassidy. It has become one of my all-time favourites. With love - Aquarius

Changing The World
Do not try to change the world.
You will fail.
Try to love the world.
And lo, the world is changed,
Changed forever.

Sri Chinmoy

If we try to change our world
Without first changing ourselves, we are sure to fail.
But when we come to terms with its true purpose
And perceive it in a new light, we learn to love it and
For us, quite magically, the world changes forever.

As our inner eyes open, we begin to recognise
The good in all people and situations.
Our heart and soul then fills with compassion and love
For those who, trapped in the darkness of
Their ignorance and greed, still insist on creating suffering,
Maybe for millions, and therefore negative Karma for themselves.
We no longer sit in judgement over anyone
And that helps us to create ever more positive Karma
For ourselves and our world.

Thank you, dear Marty, I have enjoyed your offering. And yes, I do know exactly why you posted it. Guess what? I discovered it when I was about to post the following. How’s that? No such thing as coincidences!

Some enchanted evening
You may see a stranger,
you may see a stranger
Across a crowded room
And somehow you know,
You know even then
That somewhere you'll see her
Again and again.

When all is said and done, dear Marty, it's still a world filled with wonders and beauty that we inhabit. Here is something to remind us of it:

What A Wonderful World
I see trees of green – red roses too.
I see them bloom – for me and for you
And I think to myself: ‘What a wonderful world!’

I see skies of blue  – clouds of white.
Bright blessed days – dark sacred nights.
And I think to myself: ‘What a wonderful world!’

The colours of a rainbow, so pretty in the sky.
Are also on the faces of people going by.
I see friends shaking hands saying: ‘How do you do?’
They’re really saying: ‘I love you.’

I hear babies cry – I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more than I’ll never know
And I think to myself: ‘What a wonderful world!’
Yes, I think to myself: ‘What a wonderful world!’

Why shouldn't they see how wonderful our world is, Marty? What keeps them from doing so? All anyone needs to do is stop chasing after what is generally considered to be 'goodies' on the material plane. Many would be happier if they just stopped spending money and getting ever deeper into debt by putting too much strain by over-consuming on Mother Earth's precious resources. Going for a walk in Mother Nature and enjoying all her gifts free of charge brings healing to human souls, especially after a long drawn out cold and wet winter and spring is with us once again.

Both Sides Now
Rows and flows of Angel hair,
And ice cream castles in the air,
And feather canyons everywhere.
I’ve looked at clouds that way.

But now they only block the Sun.
They rain and snow on everyone.
So many things I would have done,
But clouds got in my way.
I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now.
From up and down, and still somehow
It’s cloud illusions I recall.
I really don’t know clouds at all.

Moons and Junes and Ferris wheel.s
The dizzy dancing way you feel,
As every fairy tale comes real.
I’ve looked at love that way.

But now it’s just another show.
You leave them laughing when you go.
And if you care, don’t let them know,
Don’t give yourself away.

I’ve looked at love from both sides now,
From give and take, and still somehow,
It’s love’s illusions I recall.
I really don’t know love at all.

Tears and fears and feeling proud,
To say ‘I love you’ right out loud.
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds.
I’ve looked at life that way.

But now old friends are acting strange,
They shake their heads, they say I’ve changed.
Well something’s lost, but something’s gained
In living every day.

I’ve looked at life from both sides now,
From win and lose and still somehow,
It’s life’s illusions I recall.
I really don’t know life at all.
I’ve looked at life from both sides now,
From up and down, and still somehow.
It’s life’s illusions I recall.

‘I’ve looked at life from both sides now,
From up and down, and still somehow.
It’s life’s illusions I recall.
I really don’t know life at all.’

Joni Mitchell

I believe that life can only be understood when one learns to peer beneath its surface. Everything that ever happened in our world starts to make sense, when one discovers its eternal background.

If you go away
On this summer day
Then you might as well
Take the sun away
All the birds that flew
In the summer sky
When our love was new
And our hearts were high
When the day was young
And the nights were long
When the moon stood still
For the night bird’s song

If you go away
If you go away
If you go away...

But if you stay
I’ll make you a day
Like no day has been
Or will be again
We’ll sail on the sun
We’ll ride on the rain
We’ll talk to the trees
And worship the wind

But if you go
I’ll understand
Leave me just enough love
To hold in my hand

If you go away
If you go away
If you go away...

Ne me quitte pas
Il faut oublier
Tout peut s’oublier
Qui s’enfuit déjà
Oublier le temps
Des malentendus
Et le temps perdu
A savoir comment
Oublier ces heures
Qui tuaient parfois
A coups de pourquoi
Le coeur du bonheur
Ne me quitte pas
Ne me quitte pas
Ne me quitte pas

But if you stay
I’ll make you a night
Like no night has been
Or will be again
I’ll sail on your smile
I’ll ride on your touch
I’ll talk to your eyes
That I love so much

But if you go
I’ll understand
Leave me just enough love
To hold in my hand

If you go away
If you go away
If you go away...

If you go away
As I know you must
There is nothing left
In this world to trust
Just an empty room
Full of empty space
Like the empty look
I see on your face
Though I would have been the shadow
Of your shadow
If you might have kept me
By your side

If you go away
If you go away
If you go away...

An adaptation of the 1959 Jacques Brel song ‘Ne me quitte pas’
English lyrics by Rod McKuen

Do you know where you’re going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to?
Do you know?

Do you get
What you’re hoping for?
When you look behind you,
There’s no open doors.
What are you hoping for?
Do you know?

Once we were standing still in time,
Chasing the fantasies
That filled our minds.
You knew how I loved you,
But my spirit was free.
Laughing at the questions
That you once asked of me.

Do you know where you’re going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to?
Do you know?

Now looking back at all we planned,
We let so many dreams
Just slip through our hands.
Why must we wait so long,
Before we see
How sad the answers
To those questions can be?

Do you know where you’re going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to?
Do you know?

Do you get
What you’re hoping for?
When you look behind you
There’s no open doors
What are you hoping for?
Do you know?

I am not sure I fully understood what Mary meant by the idea of Stochastic Music

so I looked backover the old posts to remind myself.

Wow, so many old friends therein, wonder what has happened to them.

My latest 'like' in the music industry is 'La la la', by Naughty Boy featuring Sam Smith.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O1_3zBUKM8

This, apart from being in my humble view, stochastic, has a magical video set in Bolivia which echoes, so it is said Bolivian folk tales.

I think the way in which popular music resurrects (pun intended) mythic themes is also a wonderful way in which the Spirit makes herself known all the time, everywhere, whatever we do, indeed sometimes despite ourselves

Hi PJ... I am still around albeit occasionally these days as I am too busy fleecing the S&P 500 to salvage what is left of my meager retirement after being unable to work at my old job in the oil fields. I stick to my guns assuming that any system born of fraud, ie: the monetary system, must be rife with loopholes and exploits, and it was the quest to find these that led me to Christine and the Forum here. I have since hit the jackpot, lost it, and hit it again a few times. lol

But I digress... back to the topic. I used to be a minor local part time rock and roll star before having an aneurysm partially disabling my entire left side. I looked at the life of Oscar Peterson who suffered the same fate. That was an important part of being a lead guitar player I might add. But the music remains with me. And the one that springs to mind is this little ditty by a rock and roll outfit you may know...

It is entitled Money Talks, and I suggest that we listen! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmyzFsYEdco

But how do I make the link work on this new fangled forum?

 [ From: http://www.metrolyrics.com/money-talks-lyrics-acdc.html ]

Tailored suits, chauffered cars Fine hotels and big cigars

Up for grabs, up for a price Where the red hot girls keep on dancing through the night

The claim is on you The sights are on me So what do you do That's guaranteed

Hey little girl, you want it all The furs, the diamonds, the painting on the wall

Come on come on, love me for the money Come on, come on, listen to the money talk

Come on come on, love me for the money Come on, come on, listen to the money talk

A French maid, foreign chef A big house with king size bed You've had enough, you ship them out

The dollar's up-down, you'd better buy the pound The claim is on you The sights are on me

So what do you do That's guaranteed Hey little girl, you broke the laws You hustle, you deal, you steal from us all

Come on come on, love me for the money Come on, come on. listen to the money talk

Come on come on, love me for the money Come, come on, listen to the money talk Money talks, yeah, yeah

Money talks, B.S. walks Money talks, come on, come on

Come on come on, love me for the money Come on, come on, listen to the money talk

Come on come on, love me for the money Come on, come on, listen to the money talk

Money talks, money talk, talk, talk Hear it talk

Yeah, yeah, yeah money talks

OK, so that is a little nasty. How about this one more suited to, "Playing the Room?"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkhX5W7JoWI

or this one since Tachyons cant exist in this alleged Universe?

To create a bit of balance to all that 'money talk', how about something to nurture your hearts and souls?

Sunrise, Sunset
Is this the little girl I carried?
Is this the little boy at play?
I don't remember growing older
When did they?

When did she get to be a beauty?
When did he grow to be so tall?
Wasn't it yesterday
When they were small?

Sunrise, Sunset.
Sunrise, Sunset.
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers,
Blossoming, even as we gaze.

Sunrise, Sunset.
Sunrise, Sunset.
Swiftly fly the years.
One season following another,
Laden with happiness and tears.

What words of wisdom can I give them?
How can I help to ease their way?
Now they must learn from one another,
Day by day.

Sunrise, Sunset.
Sunrise, Sunset.
Swiftly fly the years.,
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears.

You’ll See
You think that I can’t live
Without your love. You’ll see.
You think I can’t go on another day.

You think I have nothing
Without you by my side.
You’ll see, somehow, someway.

You think that I can’t
Ever laugh again. You’ll see.
You think that you’ve
Destroyed my faith in love.

You think after all you’ve done,
I’ll never find my way back home.
You’ll see, somehow, someday.

All by myself.
I don’t need anyone at all.
I know I’ll survive.
I know I’ll stay alive.

All on my own.
I don’t need anyone this time.
It will be mine.
No one can take it from me.
You’ll see.

You think that you are strong,
But you are weak. You’ll see.
It takes more strength to cry
And admit defeat.

I have truth on my side.
You only have deceit.
You’ll see, somehow, someday.

All by myself.
I don’t need anyone at all.
I know I’ll survive.
I know I’ll stay alive.

I’ll stand on my own.
I won’t need anyone this time.
It will be mine.
No one can take it from me.
You’ll see!

I Will Survive
At first, I was afraid, I was petrified.
Kept thinking, I could never live without you by my side.
But then I spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong,
And I grew strong and I learned how to get along.

And so you’re back from outer space.
I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face.
I should have changed that stupid lock.
I should have made you leave your key.
If I’d known for just one second you’d be back to bother me.

Go on now, go, walk out the door, just turn around now,
‘Cause you’re not welcome anymore.
Weren’t you the one, who tried to hurt me with goodbye?
Did you think I’d crumble? Did you think I’d lay down and die?

Oh, no, not I, I will survive.
Oh, as long as I know how to love, I know I’ll stay alive.
I’ve got all my life to live, I’ve got all my love to give.
And I’ll survive, I will survive, hey, hey.

It took all the strength I had not to fall apart.
Kept trying hard to mend the pieces of my broken heart.
And I spent, oh, so many nights just feeling sorry for myself.
I used to cry but now I hold my head up high.

And you see me, somebody new.
I’m not that chained up little person still in love with you.
And so you felt like dropping in and just expect me to be free.
But now I’m saving all my loving for someone who’s loving me.

Go on now, go, walk out the door, just turn around now,
‘Cause you’re not welcome anymore.
Weren’t you the one, who tried to break me with goodbye?
Did you think I’d crumble? Did you think I’d lay down and die?

Oh, no, not I, I will survive.
Oh, as long as I know how to love, I know I’ll stay alive.
I’ve got all my life to live, I’ve got all my love to give.
And I’ll survive, I will survive, oh.

Stochastic Music does not die....it just takes a hiatus......
I am not a big fan of new school rap....but I believe all will find this perfectly acceptable....and quite metaphysical, metaphysically speaking or rapping as the case may be.....

Not Stochastic - but still a great song!

One Day I’ll Fly Away
 I make it alone,
When love is gone.
Still you made your mark,
Here in my heart.

One day I’ll fly away,
Leave your love to yesterday.
What more can your love do for me,
When will love be through with me?

I follow the night.
Can’t stand the light.
When will I begin
My life again?

One Day I’ll fly away.
Leave your love to yesterday.
What more can your love do for me,
When will love be through with me?
Why live life from dream to dream,
And dread the day that dreaming ends?

One day I’ll fly away,
Leave your love to yesterday.
What more can your love do for me?
When will love be through with me?
Why live life from dream to dream,
And dread the day that dreaming ends?

One day I’ll fly away . . .

Time Is A Healer
I found a picture of your smiling face,
Bringing old memories that I had locked away.
The burden of anger from a heart filled with pain
Was finally lifted and I smile at you again.

If time is a healer,
Then all hearts that break
Are put back together again,
‘Cos love heals the wound it makes.

I spoke such harsh words before goodbye.
Well, I wanted to hurt you for the tears you made
You made me cry.
All my hopes and dreams, they started vanishing and
Those tender hurt feelings became a dangerous thing.

All of those years we spent together,
They’re now part of my life forever.
I hold the joy with the pain
And the truth is: I miss you, my friend.

Well, time is a healer…

The Way We Were

Memories,
Light the corners of my mind.
Misty watercolour memories
Of the way we were.
Scattered pictures
Of the smiles we left behind.
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were.

Can it be that it was all so simple then
Or has time rewritten every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again,
Tell me, would we? Could we?

Memories,
May be beautiful and yet,
What’s too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget.

So it’s the laughter
We will remember,
Whenever we remember
The way we were.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev’d;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believ’d!

Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promis’d good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call’d me here below,
Will be forever mine.

Il Divo in an amazing performance of
‘Amazing Grace’

I Believe In Angels
I have a dream, a song to sing,
To help me cope with anything.
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale,
You can take the future even if you fail.
I believe in Angels,
Something good in everything I see.
I believe in Angels,
When I know the time is right for me,
I’ll cross the stream – I have a dream.

I have a dream, a fantasy,
To help me through reality.
And my destination makes it worth the while,
Pushing through the darkness still another mile.
I believe in Angels,
Something good in everything I see.
I believe in Angels,
When I know the time is right for me,
I’ll cross the stream – I have a dream.

I have a dream, a song to sing,

The Wanderer
I come from highlands down to shore,
The valleys steam, the oceans roar.
I wander silent, joyless here:
My sigh keeps asking! ‘Where? Oh, where?’
Their Sun appears to me so cold,
Their blossoms limp, their life so old;
And what they speak of, empty fare:
I am a stranger everywhere.

Where are you, land, beloved home?
Imagined, sought, but never known!
The land, the land, whence hope does flow,
The land where all my roses grow,

Where friends shall never meet in vain,
Where all my dead shall rise again,
The land that speaks my language true:
Oh land, where are you?

I wander silent, joyless here,
My sigh keeps asking: ‘Where? Oh where?’
The spirits answer my distress:
‘Where you are not, there’s happiness.’

Moonlight in Vermont
Pennies in a stream,
Falling leaves of sycamore,
Moonlight in Vermont.

Icy fingers wave,
Ski trails on a mountainside,
Snowlight in Vermont.

Telegraph cables,
They swing down the highway
And travel each bend in the road.
People who meet in this romantic setting
Are so hypnotized by the lovely

Evening summer breeze,
Warbling of a meadowlark,
Moonlight in Vermont.

Well, not exactly a song - but I hope you'll like it anyway.

A Sigh

Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more,
Men were deceivers ever;
One foot in sea, and one on shore,
To one thing constant never.
Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blith and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into Hey nonny, nonny.

Sing no more ditties, sing no more
Of dumps so dull and heavy;
The fraud of men was ever so,
Since summer first was leavy.
Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blith and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into Hey nonny, nonny.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag, lieber Marty.
Wir wünschen dir von ganzem Herzen, dass dir noch recht viele mehr beschert sein werden.
Wir alle haben dich unendlich lieb.

Now, please all together let us sing to the tune of ‘Happy birthday to you’:

Zum Geburtstag viel Glück,
Zum Geburtstag viel Glück,
Zum Geburtstag alles Gute,
Zum Geburtstag viel Glück.

Now raise your glasses to Marty and give him three cheers by chanting in a monotone:

Hoch soll er leben,
Hoch soll er leben,
drei Mal hoch.

Hoch – hoch – hoch!

Of course I knew that, and wasn't being 'heavy' ... just that off-line I have to delete spam regularly and some of that is in foreign languages praising Nike, usually, so I have to be consistent ... although I realize you were not praising that much maligned Goddess ....

And now for a change of pace:

Autumn Leaves

The falling leaves
Drift by my window.
The falling leaves of red and gold.

I see your lips,
The summer kisses,
The sunburned hands I used to hold.

Since you went away,
The days grow long
And soon I’ll hear old winter song,
But I miss you most of all, my darling,
When autumn leaves start to fall.

Since you went away,
The days grow long,
And soon I’ll hear old winter song.
But I miss you most of all, my darling,
When autumn leaves start to fall.

I miss you most of all, my darling,
When autumn leaves start to fall.

A much-recorded song that originally appeared in 1945 as the French song ‘Les feuilles mortes’, literally ‘The Dead Leaves’, with music by the Hungarian-French composer Joseph Kosma and lyrics by poet Jacques Prévert. Its Hungarian title is ‘Hulló levelek’ or ‘Falling Leaves’. In 1946 Yves Montand with Irène Joachim introduced it as ‘Les feuilles mortes’ in the film ‘Les Portes de la nuit’.

I am not sure if this is More Metaphysical Engineering, Stochastic Music, or Both, but here goes .

Musicians know this. Certain instruments come with a story to tell. The Machines involved in their manufacture also impart some of this story. So that is a New Revelation in that we can quantify and at least Identify the source using principles of Heisenberg regarding the Quantum nature of this allegedly unknown part of the Universe we all know intuitively, because it is the consciousness of God Himself that we borrow.

September Song

Oh, it’s a long, long while from May to December,
But the days grow short when you reach September.
When the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame
And you haven’t got time for the waiting game.

When the days dwindle down to a precious few,
September, November.
And these few golden days I’ll share with you,
These golden days I’ll share with you.

When you meet with the young girls early in the Spring,
You court them in song and in rhyme.
They answer with words and a clover ring,
But if you could examine the goods they bring,
They have little to offer but the songs they sing
And the plentiful waste of time of day,
A plentiful waste of time.

Oh, it’s a long, long while from May to December,
But the days grow short when you reach September.
When the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame,
One hasn’t got time for the waiting game.

Oh, the days dwindle down to a precious few,
September, November,
And these few precious days I’ll spend with you,
These precious days I’ll spend with you.

Hiya Stochastic Noise Fans......

The Doc's recent roll call made me stop and think about where have all the flowers gone? NTET, Absy, Sunny, Firefoxy, Leeeeoooo, A add sign O, Causey, and many others to numerous to mention. Thus, I believe that it is time to return to the past/present/future which is now a minute ago and a minute from now this minute. For me, the scene was the Key Theatre in Georgetown, Washington, DC, Saturday night, midnight............

Hello all!
Paulio, I am thinking how wonderful it would be if I could post the lines in context and actually spoken....sort of stochastic music extreme. As we literary historians surmise, the Globe Theatre must have been an absolute circus of sight, sound and music. I think that quite a few acts of many plays were sung. I also think that there was great audience participation. And, if I may be so bold, the cleverness of today which I label as just plain snarkiness can never match the words of the Bard; Master of the turn of words and the clever phrase! We just don't care to understand the language that WE spoke back then.

Peace,
Marty and LuckyLee

(More news about cats.......those cutsey pictures of cheetahs loving does and tigers loving ibexs and lions loving wee little bebe zebras....NOPE.....cats are natural born killers.)

But I still love them, because they are beautiful and majestic........

Thank you, Marty. As I couldn't stand the racket, I have done the next best thing and here are the lyrics of the song:

Oh, one of these nights at about twelve o'clock
this whole earth's gonna reel and rock...
things thay'll tremble and cry for pain
for the Lord's gonna come in his heavenly airplane.

If God had a name, what would it be
And would you call it to His face
If you were faced with Him in all His glory
What would you ask if you had just one question

Yeah, yeah, God is great
Yeah, yeah, God is good
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

What if God was one of us
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus
Trying to make His way home

If God had a face, what would it look like
And would you want to see
If seeing meant that you would have to believe
In things like Heaven and in Jesus and the Saints
And all the Prophets and...

Yeah, yeah, God is great
Yeah, yeah, God is good
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

What if God was one of us
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus
Trying to make His way home

Tryin' to make His way home
Back up to Heaven all alone
Nobody callin' on the phone
'Cept for the Pope maybe in Rome

Yeah, yeah, God is great
Yeah, yeah, God is good
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

What if God was one of us
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus
Trying to make His way home

Just tryin' to make his way home
Like a holy rolling stone
Back up to Heaven all alone
Just tryin' to make his way home
Nobody callin' on the phone
'Cept for the Pope maybe in Rome

Well, that's one way of looking at it.

With love - Aquarius

Hello Aqwah.....I love the noise but my true love is ambient (we used to call it space) music which is usually lyricless....and if I want singing, I am an opera fan....but I think you all ready know that. Remember Bryn?

Anyway, I am very curious about the lyrics you found. No version that I have heard uses the first stanza that you posted. I sort of figured out your source and I notice that the first stanza is bracketed. I wonder why?

I am always very curious about these things as I maintain (and rightly so) that the Internet is one of the largest sources of misinformation that we have. Wikipedia has no editorial standard but us.....and I am not a good editor. Google is a monolithic spying apparatus.....the Europeans have woken up to some of the egregious things that Google does..... go Euros!!!

If I could afford it, I would get the complete Oxford Dictionary of the English Language.....at least the Brits maintain the high standards required to be considered authoritative. Go Brits!!!

Americans? Fuhgedaboudit......we can't even spel big woids.......

Piece,

Marty and LuckyLee, my kat

Hello Marty,

Oh yes, I do remember Bryn. I have quite a few CDs of him, but have to admit that I haven't listened to them for a while. Thanks for reminding me! I must dig them up.

Re: If God were one of us. There's no great science involved about how I found the text I gave you. I just googled 'If God were one of us' and up came quite a few websites offering the lyrics. I chose this one because looked promising somehow: http://www.lyricsondemand.com/onehitwonders/ifgodwasoneofuslyrics.h...

Re: The Oxford Dictionary. My best friend, the writer of Madazine, is the greatest expert of the English language I have ever come across. He hasn't much time for the Oxford for various reasons, which he recently explained to me. Alas, I can't recall what they were. I may come back to you later and tell you what they were. I might send him a quick e-mail to find out.

Meanwhile, all the best.

P.S. Re long words.

Do you mean something like Oberdonaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaft? Have you got any equivalents to it?

P.P.S. Sorry, Marty, I slipped up. The word by rights should read: Oberdonaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaftskapitaen.

I had almost forgotten. It's a long time since I've been having fun with this kind of thing, as you may imagine.

Note to Ophiucus.

I hope you will be able to forgive me for slipping in one single foreign word.

It means Captain of the Upper Danube Steamboat Shipping Company.

Glad you liked it Aqua

Cat Stephens was/is I feel one of our most spiritual of songwriters, then he embraced Islam and went quiet but has since returned

He was once so generous as to donate some money to set up one of his former musicians who had fallen on hard times, who had come my way, in response to a simple request of mine.

I think he is wonderful in so many ways.

Hello Pauly and Aqualine,
You can't go wrong with a singer named Cat!

BTW, he wrote (and sometimes performed) the song "Here Comes My Baby", up high on the charts as performed by the Tremeloes, a rock and roll tune if ever I heard one.

Onto more serious things................Fairfax County, Virginia has dispatched its 60 person disaster rescue team to Nepal. I hope they save as many as they can. A special prayer of mine goes to the climbers trapped on Everest. That's where Beck Weathers died and came back to life a day later. I hope there is a lot of that happening.

The Day The Music Died

The Day the Music Died, an expression coined by Don McLean in his song ‘American Pie’, is a reference to the deaths of rock and roll musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J. P. ‘The Big Bopper’ Richardson in a plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa, on February 3, 1959. Pilot Roger Peterson was also killed.

After terminating his partnership with The Crickets, Holly assembled a new band consisting of Waylon Jennings, Tommy Allsup, and Carl Bunch to play on the ‘Winter Dance Party’ tour across the Midwest. Rising artists Valens and Richardson joined the tour as well.

The distance between venues and the conditions aboard the poorly-equipped tour buses adversely affected the performers, with cases of flu and even frostbite. After stopping at Clear Lake to perform and frustrated by such conditions, Holly decided to charter a plane to reach their next venue in Moorhead, Minnesota. Richardson, who was affected by the flu, swapped places with Jennings, taking the latter’s place on the plane, while Allsup lost his seat to Valens on a coin toss.

Soon after take-off, late at night and in wintry weather conditions with poor vision, the pilot lost control of the airplane, a small Beechcraft Bonanza, which subsequently crashed into a cornfield, leaving no survivors.

To find out more about it, please follow the link below:

I Will Survive!

I have a pretty good idea why things are the way they are and no other.

It's because they evolved that way.

I have often thought that Icarus also a good myth for our age: since we persist as a race, in not heeding the warnings of the wise and instead symbolically, if not actually, continue to fly too close to the sun.

We might also hope that those 'young gods in the making' who follow a certain Middle Eastern Death Cult currently waxing strong do not gain the ascendent because to them, music, dance and song all constitute evil, and are forbidden on pain of death. As is freedom of sexual choice.

Hello To Spacechastic Music Lovers In All Dimensions:
On July 4th we who are in the Newnited Steaks of Merica celebrate Interdependence day.....a day I traditionally watch "Jaws", one of the greatest spiritual movies ever made (if you don't see why....meditate on it); which sorta got me thinking about the other greatest spiritual movie "The Good The Bad and The Ugly" (even the title is spiritual). Here is a spirited rendition of the theme song with a little Arcadian twist (and also proves that acoustic instruments can be versatile; even though one guy uses a wah wah pedal).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3w3fD54bNvU

Please do enjoy and post your pleasure and/or displeasure as you see fit, and remember that a sound made now disseminates throughout this universe for infinity plus one.

Peace and Love,
Marty and LuckyLee (she is blind but would she rather be deaf? - I don't know - to never hear to never see.....which is the worst?

Not at all stochastic, dear Friends. But I hope that some of you will enjoy my offering nonetheless.

Marlene Dietrich

Born in Berlin 1901
Died in Paris 1992

‘Ich hab’ noch einen Koffer in Berlin.’
‘I’ve left a suitcase in Berlin.’

To those who don’t understand what Marlene is singing, the gist of it is that she has a suitcase she once left in Berlin. And sometime soon she’ll have to visit that city again because the memories of the good times of her life are stored in this suitcase. There then follows a sequence of photos showing her with the famous people she once rubbed shoulders with – a document of our time.

My Suitcase In Berlin’

Enjoy!

Ahhhhhh........good old stochastic music, whether random or not!

Ackwhah-you don't happen to own a victrola, do you? Would you have any way of playing 78 rpm records??

I heard Marlene on a wind up victrola, which gave the songs a haunting beauty of an indescribable nature and (quite clearly) of another time.

Sorry to disappoint you, dear Marty, but I have quite a modern CD by Marlene. It's title is 'Die Grossen Erfolge' and here is a link for where you can find it and buy your own copy, if you so wish. Well worth the investment, in my view.

Hiya Aqhaireeus:
Thanks, but cd's are real sounds that are quantized to fit on a disc. The old wax and vinyl are the sounds with no quantification, and no enhancement. If you "listen" really carefully you can smell the cigarette smoke, hear the clink of glasses, and hear background conversations during the songs. You see, life is a cabaret.......it is not digitized, robotisized, perfected audio product.
And, people don't really sing perfectly all of the time. Sometimes, Ms. Dietrich was off key, behind the music and not of good voice in a particular song......but that is what makes her GREAT.
I can make a strong argument that Madonna can sing very well, but I cannot say that of any other female singer of this current time. ALL use Autotune and all have inadequate voices for many songs.
Oh, and Dame Shirley Bassey-the best Bond theme song ever. However, her voice is aging and most contemporary renditions are overproduced. She should retire the song and feel secure in the knowledge that it is a thrilling song to hear then and now.

Peace and Purposeful Love Stochastically Given,
Marty and LuckyLee (she has always preferred ambient music which we used to call "space" music, though she is a "Ring Nut" as am I.....nothin' like Bryn as Wotan)

P.S. I do not make this stuff up......the UMCP (University of Maryland College Park-our flagship campus of the system that I work for) is studying cats and their responses to music. There is a suggested correlation between learning and genres of music. Cats "seem" to be sensitive to this. I, on behalf of LuckyLee, volunteered services, but then she became ill and has not been herself since. What I can say is this.....the early Ruppert cats were rock n' roll, psychedelic, punk, grunge cats with bouts of classical and opera. They lived beyond average.....most at 17 to 20 human years. The then nascent batch, who are my last bunch, heard ambient, space, opera, and classical. These ladies have lived to late 20's and LuckyLee will be 32...fingers crossed. but maybe wishful thinking on my part.
I can also add to the body of science with this.....when LuckyLee is really having a bad time, I put on Reiki healing music.....she manages to get to the speakers and has a good rest. She then seems rejuvenated for a while! To bad it doesn't last!

Hi Stochasticats:
I have always maintained that electric guitars are guitars in a vague since of the word when compared to acoustic and amplified acoustic guitars. I believed that the sound processing that goes on with the electric version made them far and away superior to acoustic instruments. I stupidly thought this true of all string acoustic instruments.
Two gentlemen have proved me ignorant and wrong.

I hope you are as amazed by this as I was. And, I hope my zodiacal friend lurks here and there, and if she does, she may well want to put earplugs in her sensibilities.

Hello Stochast-sick Music Fans!
Doc Jay mentioned in our Senses thread that she wanted to do some strange music and that resonated with me like church bells on a wedding day. Now, I don't know how strange the good Doctor Jill wants to get, but I will kick this off with something fairly remote, unless you are one of the few who follow the Sundance Film Festival. It is "Achilles Desire". We all know (or we don't know but know now) Achilles was killed in one of the Trojan Wars by Paris, who shot him in the foot. The lyrics and imagery sort of reinterpret our understanding of the saying "Achilles heel".

Please enjoy if you can stomach it, and don't be in the least bit shy about commenting and contributing rabidly, ravenously, and maybe even zombie-like.

Wow. ... another passing in 16.... geesh! I have a strange feeling we are going to see many many more.

Another song that makes me sit and think. .... love the tweeks and background additional screaching that just resignates with the core soul!

Hello Stochastically Inclined Metaphysicians!
Sad Times! I have never gotten over the tragic life of Christina Holt, and now I am confronted with Grace Packer. When there are parents in this world who are so low as to do what the parents of Christina and Grace did, I am ready to give up on humanity.
My latest link is not a memorial, but moreso an illustration of what childhood has become in our ever changing world.

For those that have, hug your kids!!

Here ya go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3yqgRyHkSU

Peace and Luv,
Marty

Hiho Stochastic MetaMusicians:
Did you all think that the Inauguration would not be gifted with a shout out from the Stochastic Music thread? Indeed, it is the patriotic and idiotic thing to do, as it all is the same thing....BUT...before we get to the tribute...for those who have never been to Washington, DC, the federal government comprises a very small part of DC. Most of Washington is the Great Divide. There are areas of super-sized vast wealth and areas of absolute poverty. AND, then there is Anacostia, where the color of your skin better be a certain way or you don't get out alive....and that ain't no jive. No white police brutality there, as they do not send white policemen to Anacostia. Be that as it may, here is a little song about you and me as we are all part of AMERIKAH!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sk3sURDS4IA

Hope you enjoy,
Stochastically yours,
Marty "I'm on the Goodfoot" (particularly in Anacostia)

This really sickens me to hear that stuff as this still even exists, especially within our own capital state.... But Marty... you are very full of much knowledge, it's always a treat to read your input.
As i said before... i say it again.... these threads are priceless! You are indeed a resourceful hippie... that we indeed love!

I will now add two versions of CRAZY: Because that is what HUMANS ARE!

The Gnarls way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bd2B6SjMh_w
The Seal Way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrA-wG-QChE

I love them both.... both are FACT.... but i tend to favor the Seal version better.

Many Blessings~

Oh hi Stochastical Musical Fanatical readers of this most ridiculously mah-veh-lous Thread!
In another post somewhere, I sort of thought that readers might question the absolutely incontrovertible historical and hysterical fact that I posted, so and thus I now answer your question of how did he know with my own question which is "I bet you wonder how I knew"
Enjoy an excursion into my world........

Thanks to Gladys and all of the Pips, past, present, and future.......even Charles Dickens Pip who does a decent job of bass voice in this song....at least in our quantum universe version.

Funny thing Marty posted over on another thread yesterday (earlier today? Not sure about time zones!)

Equally not sure if this counts as stochastic music ... but had to share it with friends here ... just discovered this artist and am blown away by her sounds:

Hi to all Stochastic Music listeners...
In a short while I will post my usually annual Christmas song...though why this one has ever been considered a Christmas song I do not know.
So intrigued by the song, I search high and low (or, in some cases, hi fi and lo fi) to find ever more bizarre versions of it. WELL, I have found yet another!

Stay tuned,
Marty

Marty -

O Come O Come Emmanuel was always one of my favourite Advent Hymns ...

Meanwhile I have been contemplating the fate of the poor lady Shyma in Egypt, now imprisoned for a video that You Tube will not even permit itself the open governance to play, so we cannot even know what her alleged crime is ....

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/egyptian-singer-jailed-over-vid...

And wild swans are being beheaded in the dead of night somewhere in England ....

Long live the 512 year old Greenland Shark .... but don't let anyone know she is there ... else she may not last much longer

Mutatingly Yours

Paul

Hi Paul,
Glad you listened....it has ALWAYS been a mystical song for me.....and the more bizarre performances that I find only adds to the intrigue of it's original meaning. As an aside, I must say that I prefer an earlier version of the lyrics which uses the word "ransom" instead of "free" in the first verse.
But, I am of another age and time, when things were genteel and society was hopeful and wondrous for a brighter future.

Merriest of Mistletoes,
Marty

Please open another thread about the singer among the pyramids, as I just might have a lot to say about that.

Ha!
I bet you all thought that I would not come up with some great seasonal tunes for the gratification, edification, justification, and obfustication of lovers of stochastic music. But, be that as it may, I will anyway. However, there are no traditional Thanksgiving songs so we will have to wait until Xmas.
But, the challenge goes out...............if any metaphysical guru can find a truly inspiring version of "O Come O Come Emmanuel" you will earn a place in the Stochastic Music Hall of Fame...which is located deep in the Heart of Space!

Pax y'all,
Marty

Hello,
It was rough this year......a very traditional rendition in Latin vs. Theocracy. Theocracy won out! (My Latin is not so good.) Here is the most bizarre song played at Xmas yet again..........
