| Hi, I am new to this forum and looking forward to hearing more from others who are interested in the spiritual side of life, metaphysically. I am contemplating becoming a student. Not sure yet, only due to current health and time limitation.
My mother has certain metaphysical beliefs which I have to respect because of her outlook upon life, people, and her ability to discern hidden things and help others.
I first read of the University of Metaphysical Sciences when googling "harming gossip." The founder of the university had posted an article on gossip which popped up quickly in Google. I had experienced very harmful gossip, and I am attempting to heal from the effects. I will mention, only briefly the situation, that I was involved with a small group doing a community service where we use our skills in fiber crafts as an outreach to the community. I had been a member of the group for several years. I suppose that is why the gossip was very hurtful and harmful to me.
I appreciated the founder's article. I will be reading it again. It was so healing in itself to read, especially the part that said something like: "One has to ask if remaining a part of the group is a wise thing." I had already quit the group before I read this article, but it was certainly an affirmation to me that I had made the right decision not to attend the group. I am finding
another outlet for my skill, and trying to move on. Thank you for reading this.
Hoping to form spiritual friendships over my time here.

Location: NE Ohio | Hello Verbala,
I too have been a victim of gossip, most of it is very inaccurate but has left a very emotional scar.... the only way to recover is honestly forgive them for their stupidity and forgive your self for allowing anyone to let you think you are less than beautiful! We ARE all equal and built of God, and all Mother Earth's Children.
These classes set you free. Nobody can judge you but your self! And yes. .... no reason to hang on to those with intent to hurt. Too many people in the world who would indeed enjoy your company to stick with anyone who doesn't appreciate what you have to share.
We are so glad to have you!
Welcome!

| What Paul said is one of the few things that has not gone over my head around here lately. I don't know the answer, but I know what he's talking about. |

Location: United Kingdom | Hi all
nothing deep was meant from me, just a random association that I put out -'rumour' and 'gossip' always put me in mind of those mediaeval mystery plays - early theatre - where characters all in some way represented a moral aspect of human character (if I remember my early English drama correctly!) - rumour (or was it gossip, or are they the same thing?!) was a character that was readily identifiable as he/she was literally painted with many tongues as the costume .. but am open to any correction ..
love all
