A quote from the Bard to invite anyone's news items ..

.. to start the rolling ball some intriguing notes that I noticed in recent days ....

: an orca of over 105 years estimated age spotted alive and well and caring for a young (adopted) orca infant

: the discovery of a Dark Age site in Cornwall, UK, near the folk-loric site of King Arthur's Tintagel site predating the existing site by over 500 years to 545 AD, lending credence to the myth

: space black holes as portals to different galactic points (though the voyager might not survive the voyage - like life I guess ...)

Any news anyone?

Peace out

PJ

I saw that and was beguiled, but didn't someone also say it could have been a plume of smoke from a vape e-cigarette ..?

I agree ... the vape cigarette smoke tends to have a different configuration ...

... seems we are gifted glimpses of the dimension beyond the known but can choose to disregard them then claim there is no evidence ...

I need three things: love, friendship and books. However, the three are interlinked. Love can enrich the contents of the book, the book is one of the most faithful friends.

OK. Wuuuttt? http://www.marieclaire.com/culture/a22651/star-sign-horoscope-chang...

Is this news? Did everyone know this except me? Ophiuchus, you must have known. Is this even real? It's under "science" on Yahoo, but it's on Marieclaire.com. No way I'm switching signs :P I still think Pluto is a planet, too.

Discuss and enlighten, please.

Fret not Dizz....at least not yet!

For sure the sky is not the same sky now as it was two/three thousand years ago. For sure the North and South Poles change (and fairly constantly).
However, Spica is still the 16th brightest star in the visible sky and it is still where it is in the constellation Virgo, just as it was a long time ago when I was born.
I will never be a Leo.

Peace and Pie-sees,
Marty

Hi Disa, Marty and Friends

Just saw this 'rejoinder' in an online New Scientist link:

https://www.newscientist.com/article/2107207-no-nasa-hasnt-changed-t...

Though this new article seems rather disagreeable and antipathetic to astrology, so am not sure it adds much to our understanding

I do not know what has happened to Chiron either, the 'planet' of the wounded healer as was once thought (or Nibiru, come to that!)

My understanding is that according to some interpretations the constellation of Ophiucus lies the galactic equator and had a connection with 2012 prophecies

Yours, still waiting for Heaven ...

Paul

Yeah, i didn't think they had changed because the Cancer traits just do not fit the Leo that i am, maybe perhaps i have calmed down sport wise.... but the fire in me is strong. I couldn't imagine it changing yet over long long long periods i would imagine it would have to. If astrology is hogwash (according to article) why does it predict so well? How can it describe people so well? I read cards using astrology and they are always accurate somehow. .... just are!

I was reading somewhere on FB today that NASA has not issued any changes in astrological signs and that the star constellations have indeed not changed. Even if they did, we wouldn't see it or feel it for at least another thousand years. Geewiz i wish i would have copied the article! Lol

I hope fall goes slow because winters suck here and i hate cold!

That storm that plonked itself in Jillybean's backyard is so big that us Merrylanders have gotten nothun but rain and gray skys. With the recent flooding of Ellicott City which resulted in the destruction of Main Street, this storm is particularly unwelcome.

A word on the seasons-do our moods follow the seasons or do the seasons follow our moods?
I am particularly animated by the Fall.....I have always felt that there is a "spookiness" in the air...an ancient whisper of spirituality that is from our distant past.

A word on temperatures....I love the UK as the temperatures are more to my liking. I would shrivel at the Equator. I love the food in N'Orleans but it is toooooo dam hot and huuuummmmiiiddd.
Same with Florida where our dear friend Leo was for a while, until he went to Ecuador with Christine and then came back to oblivion, wherever that is!

If you have a mind and the time, swing over to my thread and write on the wall..................

Peece,
Marty (no cats for a good reason)

I've never really been out of my own back yard much. It's on my bucket list. ... i want to go to the UK, Australia and Sweden (sp?) Since I'm part Swedish. But yes. ... prolonged grey rainy days really hinders the ability to stay optimistic. The beauty of nature with the bright sun is required, or so it seems to me. I've been really enjoying nature much more as of lately so this string of blah weather is making it rough to enjoy my favorite month of fall. ... Oct. At which today was my hubby's birthday! This month has a lot of family b days. It's Libra season currently. ... i get along pretty well with air signs. ... think of it like, fire cannot exist without air! Lol

Though maybe those researchers could do well with going back also to their Jung ....

Was going to post this next comment over on the Nibiru thread, but on checking that, it seemed to have strayed into rather different territory, so will post this just spotted You Tube here, making some concerning suggestions regarding possible Earth shift .. would be interested in others' observations

I slipped into psychosis in Sept. From a 10 day streak of no sleep. My psychic abilities magnified x10 and i felt, heard and seen so much. It was beautifully terrifying. The 4th dimention is a fun, chaotoc place. Psychology is just majority wins opinions. We don't fit in the normal brackets of those opinions.

Courageous to share that DocJ ... actually I think/feel humanity has created a mad world where such like psychotic states perceive the veil ... mysticism does that too but both psychosis and mysticism (perhaps two sides of similar coinage) find it hard to function in this (un)real world

... Though hasten to add, my thoughts are not original - just as a couple of examples, Jung had a psychotic breakdown and he recorded images from it in his Red Book, as we have discussed a bit on the Board sometime back; whilst 'experts' are still divided as to whether Joan of Arc was psychotic, or a saint ...

Love

Absolutely. ... this realm i slipped into was partly what i had wanted to experience for a long long time. The telepathic and telekenetic abilities were extreme, easy. ... felt natural. It was real and i had a lot of witnesses (some who now live pretty freaked out). The horrible part is being tormented, invaded, no privacy. They were everywhere. At one point i carried a vase of flowers around, thinking it was a baby. I saw very freaky stuff. Learned a lot. Snapped right back after sleep. Mine may have been highly psychic because i was to begin with, but to this extent? Craziness!

I am currently typing this from my room at the hospital. I came in on the 14th. I will do what i can from here. ... i will go home today or tomorrow. Ugh waiting on blood work. I have very little veins left. Lol i am feeling much better!

I didn't just hear voices, i saw, felt, had full two way conversations, was shown some terrible clips of how man has destroyed man. How our food has been contaminated. The worst part is how children are tortured. Some i will never forget, but much of the feeling i experienced is gone and that part i hate. Be very careful what is consumed.

Oh my, only just caught up with your posts now .. thanks for being still with us .... I actually logged on to post this news clip that seems to suggest the astronomers are permitting themselves to think of a possible giant 9th (?) planet ... not calling it Nibiru yet ... I hope they do not discover that our sun also has brown dwarf twin as postulated by the Nemesis observers, else we may well be in for cosmic trouble ...

Hi Jilly and Diss....thanks for that link....I don't think it is "natural" to all to have a loving nature.....I think it is a special gift and that kid has it. My greatest fear and my biggest question is how long will it take society to pound it out of him....as that is what we seem to like to do.
I used to believe, truly believe.......now, not so much anymore.
But, I refuse to give up my fight for peace.....and that says it all....I feel compelled to "fight" for peace. What a world!

A worrisome but still wonderful world to all,
Marty, thinking about how my mood would change with 3 or 7 or 12 cats

Yes, agree with all that is being said by friends here ... just to add to Marty's - I saw some reserach one quoted ona group of children who were tested over time, and at a very young age, all were genius level, but that IQ reading went down as they got older ... (one point being made was that Western education actually dulled our senses) ...

Keeping the Faith (though not sure for how much longer!)

Anyone notice the UK election ? We are in a distinct (stinky/sinking?) state of Flux as Marty might conjurally adjectivize ... the Wisdom of the Crowd has spoken again, as it did in the USA ... at least we have the right to vote and must exercise it

Hi Paul,
It was the internal issues that got May in a state of disMay. One must be careful when one seeks to tamper with NHS.
I am not sure that Jeremy Corbyn would have faired any better.

Hi Marty

Thanks yes - spot on ... she threw it away by a combination of arrogance, hubris - and honesty; he exceeded himself and expectation by a combinaton of false promises, and vast pretence (about his own beliefs).

I am sore afeared as to where we go next ... as indeed I am for your great nation.

All the best

Would be interested in our community's views ...

Hi Paul,
Lest we forget the EU is no heaven on earth and walk through a sunny park with butterflies and little birdies. Farage oft times pointed this out quite bluntly. My personal belief is that any union of such disparate countries can work, but only if it is based on trade and not on sublimating national interests. If it involves free immigration, it is doomed from the start.

Peace!!
Marty

Thanks for reflections Marty; I tend to agree. Interesting though how the so-called 'democratic' 'referendum' seems to be sought to be undermined over here ...

Also Doc J - hope your healing weekend went well
