Location: United Kingdom | Saw this on the MSN news over here in the UK: looks spectacular ... when I was in New York I wondered about whatever happened to the Native Americans/First Peoples pathways and trackways that might have been there before, and that might have built over by the colonisers ... could the Manhattanhenge phenomenon a relic of that, I now wonder ... something gifted to us unconsciously from those who were displaced by the New World Order of that time?

Location: NE Ohio | Ok.... maybe someone can explain some things we missed. The media in USA is pre written and mostly diversions to what is REALLY going on. Sometimes we need that outside info to see what is hidden from us little people who pay the hell out of our pockets to the big people who abuse it. Sickening really! Our system is backwards. ... entertainment pays well.... hard labor. .... starvation and suffering. Makes no sense but those who have no money, still pay big bucks to be entertained. We all can imagine, create or lives as healers and workers to be compensated better. Equal would be a start! ? |

Location: United Kingdom | Sorry I thought you would have seen, being in America and all, as there were photographs taken in New York of amazing sunrises and sunsets shafting directly between the towers of skyscrapers like what happens at Stonehenge ... as if the towers had been laid out and built at angles to accentuate the sight ... only happens mid-year apparently

.................. I have visited twice, it is the only one of three places in the world that I might have contemplated ever living, apart from, Edinburgh (Scotland), or Jerusalem (Israel) .... or maybe Lake Titicacca ... or ... where I am now or might even be ....[or was born once]
but leaving all that aside, regarding New York, when I walked down Broadway, and looked at it on the map, and was cognizant of the First Peoples, and went looking for the Collected Poems of Edwin Arlington Robinson in one volume in Harlem [scavenging all the second hand bookshops in NY for the Arthurian sequences] and elsewhere (always met well with good spirits) I wondered and wondered again , with no resolution (how could there be?) ... that Broadway, NY, must - or could - be the vestige of a Native American trackway, that either, a) could not be obfuscated, or b) resurfaced after the invaders/colonisers ............................... so the Manattanhenge photos reminded my of the 'Old Straight Path' idea, from Alfred Watkins, of new places built upon old, [or not even built, but connected] where the old places, not only do not relinquish their sense of place, but moreover, insist that they still be recognised ....
Cannot post much these days, but hoping to keep a toehold ....
