.... I may be being lazy and have not done a site search (apologies to Moderators!) ....

............... but wanted to report and share a problem with meditation, in case it resonates and/or any reflections otherwise thereto .....

...................................... viz

It is all very well meditating, praying, or in any other which wise or wheretofore communing with Thine spirit or No-Thing of and beyond any description ................

But whatever is done theretofore, here, there and which ways about, we always have to come back to base, ground zero, and/or anywhere we are in this realm of which we inhabit ...

So to cuteto the chase from the fancy words, anyone out there got a clue what meditation is for, except temporary relief from the pain of Being?

Love all

Paul

In my meditations I have found the benefit of stress relief, and if I continue to do it on a consistent basis (which isn't often) I find I'm much more grounded and better able to handle the day to day grind. I feel more restless and more agitated when I do not meditate consistently.

In addition to that, I do get quite a few "visions" or premonitions when I'm in silent meditation. (as opposed to the guided ones)

Thanks for reply Disa

Sorry I noted a typo in my post, I meant, 'cut to the chase', not, 'cuteto the chase'!

I think I might just need to knuckle down more

Best
