This is today's post from 'Poem of the Day' funnily enough; Wang Wei seems to resonate:

> A bright moon
> shines between the pines;
> The clear spring water
> glides over the rocks.
> Bamboo leaves rustling —
> the washer-girls bound home.
> Water lilies swaying —

> Never mind that

What great thoughts and sharings. Personally, Autumn is my favorite. It gives one permission to rest after the energies of spring and summer...maybe that's why I love sweaters
But then I ask, what the heck am I doing in Arizona? Argh.

I saw the most wonderful thing, now some of you may not appreciate this but I actually saw a dung beetle in the back yard rolling a small piece of dung into a hole just like the "discovery channel" documentary. Only thing, I thought dung beetles were big, this one was really small. But I thought how wonderful these little "clean up" creatures are.

Every creature large and small has a job on this Mother Earth.

Absolutely agree Rose - have you seen my numerous references to the value of flies in a similar regard ? xx Nice observations
