Im not sure who wrote this...whether it was me or someone I thought very apt at the time I dont know, as I wrote it down in free hand and there is no signature. Usually I take care to write who it was from so that I dont plagiarize, so its any body's guess really??? Nvm. Here it is anyway.

As we quietly, gently and peacefully observe God in action on Earth as It is in heaven, we are witnessing the Glory of God. Practicing this form of meditation or contemplation, day in and day out, will bring us to a state of consciousness where discursive thought slows down and finally stops. One of these days, as we are engaged in this spiritual activity of watching God at work,a second of silence will occur in which there is no thought of any kind. In that split second the activity or presence of God will make itself known to us.

That has a Meister Eckhart ring, but some more modern language too ... so could be yours, could be channelled, could be a synthesis - nice though, thanks. ...

... And in the moment of making known, perhaps

we become One

boundary dissolves

prayer ceases because all is prayer

time becomes Eternity

earth becomes Heaven ...

Hi Tracy Ann, I found 2 versions of this prose on line...one says God in action, one says Good in action.

Same difference, really.

Happy Day to you, and all! It is blissfully pouuuuuring buckets of rain and cool here in the desert. What a relief!!! Feel like dancing in the streets hahaha

God enters the free soul (another Eckhart sermon)

I stood in the rain for a time once as it was thundering and lightening. The electrical energy in the huge water drops was palpably vibrant, full of the energy of the cosmos.

How perceptive of you Tracy Ann. I was staying with my disabled father (strokes) so my mother could go into hospital. It was in addition, could be said to be, a prognostically externalised weeping, as my father was to die one year later and they were the last two weeks I was to spend any length of quality time with him.

Heaven is, I think, on earth when we permit ourselves to see it.

Namaste

good to be back.
I "witnessed" the gathering of kindred spirits.
And since I'm such a horrible e-correspondent.
This is a great place.
So is that chat option at SLJ (starlight journal) available yet?

Not sure; I am finding my life too frazzled and compplex and need to edge out of this Board slowly, before facing the challenges of Starlight - de-cathexis is the Freudian term ... check out the Starlight link in Christine's Announcement e-mail (let me know if yuo cnanot find it)

James, Paul- yes the chat is enabled on the other site. As I mentioned elsewhere I actually had a chat with Tracy a bit back..was fun, albeit short as I was on my way to the airport...
The way I see it, as feeble as my thoughts are probably perceived by some on here ( not paranoid, just obvious )...we are all still the same family, we just moved to another house.

Lame?

'Feeble thoughts' who thinks that ? Forshame, not so.

I quite like old houses with timbered memories, foundations stretching down into the earth's core.

Bricks worn smooth with tales of relationships found or lost; births or deaths.

And gardens that have o'ergrown with time:

Trees wherein rooks have nested since before the house was e'er conceived.

(you've got me off on one now, Lori !)
