This precious little squiggly wriggly being took her first breath on 5-7-08 at 0921 AM- all 5 lb 15 oz and 18 whopping inches. I think most of that weight is the hair on her head! I truly do not think she could be any more beautiful. (Not that I am partial or anything). I attempted to watch her closely as she took in her first breath, to see if I noticed any spirit beings and or guides/angels present. Either it was the tears of joy in my eyes at the time that prevented me from seeing, or maybe I simply was not supposed to. Either way, we are all blessed so deeply and wonderfully by her. Yay!!!!

hi,many congratulations, and love to you,i wrote a poem for you, hope you enjoy, the many years of joy ahead, love and hugs x

BIRTH

the miracle of life they say
is your brand new babe, born today
she,ll look to you for love and care
so many years of joy you,ll share
she,ll bring you laughter,love,some tears
but ones of joy and love no fears
when in your arms at first she lay
a special bond was formed that day
i send you love,a burning pride
complete,a picture side by side
may all her wishes,dreams,come true
she,s chosen parents such as you
because the angels looked around
a special mum and dad they found
your truly blessed for evermore
my luck and love, pass through your door

Doh - meant to take out the stray apostrophe, and meanwhile, apologies, my posts keep repeating themselves, non-deliberately.

Ok - this just came up too -

Infants are ourselves in infancy

[see if that gets through in One!]

Oh, Winnie the Poo rocks! and yes P J I could not agree more. Infants are ourselves in infancy. Minus the societal jading and assuming nature of the "evolved". So pure they are, she is. So simple and peaceful in her expression, so thankful she is as she slumbers. Needs are met. Cozy and warm and a belly full of nature's milk. She ( they ) have much to teach us, as if they are the sages and we are in our infancy. Our innate knowledge seems to tend to evaporate as we merge forth. Interesting, this human progression, as we age we return back to dependency, our needs to be anticipated versus requested. Babies in all their gentle glory are our Creator's reminder that all is well.

Wow - yes; and, isn't it interesting how every baby looks just like Buddha (the venerated one, blessed be he) ?!

Holy Cow,( uh, no pun intended ). I never thought of the Buddha resemblance !!!! I wonder if that's why I love rubbing her belly. To be determined, I suppose! (smiles) Poor baby has a bit of jaundice, fortunately we live in the desert sunshine which is what was suggested as a treatment for her to break down all of that nasty extra bilirubin. I adore this little yellow lump O' love.

She is such a big girl now! ( All 6 lb 8 oz of her, weight consists mostly of the massive amounts of brownish hair on her little head )
Eyes wide open most often, such a sweet girl, so alert, taking it all in- it seems she has one brown eye and one blue eye. Let's see what time does with this one!
Being a young, hip grandma ( toot tooting my own horn, hear it )? is a totally amazing experience!

Thanks again all..

And Lori likes rain too, as do I ... tell me, Ms Sonoron Desert Girl, do you ever meet any mystic coyotes, Don Juan Mateus', Don Genaros (both last seen jumping off mountains), Castanedas (deceased, i understand), or other such shamanic cacti ?

I met a coyote almost too closely with the front end of my car, we startled each other and he ran off- not sure how mystical he was, in fact he appeared quite rabid with freaky glazed over eyes, poor thing- but get a pack of them in the desert behind my back yard and you'd think you were dreaming. Other than Castaneda books lining most of the shelves I have, no such encounters. Speaking of shamanic cacti, there is actually a local religious sect that worships "divinely shaped" Saguaro cacti. I should read more about them since they are here and so am I!

what a wonderful blessing - congratulations to you, your family, and lovely baby Jordyn. A gift to this world, and undoubtedly here to share your life too - with a life path of 22/4 - she has a path of a master number - the Master Builder. Her path shows the potential to build a foundation of lasting value to humanity - the ability to bring the insights from higher consciousness into reality. I am sure that you and your family will provide the foundation of love to continue this blessing way beyond our lifetime...

Much love to you Lori and all..

Louise
