hi,firstly can i extend my love and thanks to pj,molly b,tracey,ne,and all who i may have not mentioned. Okay,i find the number 7 relevent in a lot of things, and wondered if anyone thought the same,i.e.7 main chakras,7 days a week,7 seas,God rested on the 7th day,7 colors of the rainbow,(or is that 8)the 7 deadly sins, the body renews itself every 7 yrs,7 year itch, and so on,i had loads, but my minds gone blank, our growing years, the first seven, when we learn a lot,the second seven, that takes us into our teens, and so on,and our life seems to go in seven year cycles,if we look back at events, tha theme seems to last seven, then it changes,so on,there,s loads more, wonder if anyone can relate to this, and maybe give examples of how lives changed in their seven year period, etc,or any comments would be welcome, and interesting, okay bye fr now,luv x

Dear Sunflower

Good to hear from you ... I am sure Louise can respond better than I - or there may be material on her web-site - but 7 is indeed a classical, magical number of ancient repute in numerology; it is, I recall, fundamentally, the number of Wisdom & learning.

Besides those that you mention, there are also the Pleiades (the star constellation of the Seven Sisters)

Love
Paul

7 associated with the Full Moon, Neptune

Number 7: freedom-loving, intuitive, mystical, introspective, enduring, meticulous, poised, wise.

Aloof, anti-social, cynical, restless, hypercritical, moody, inactive.

Seven is the number of stellar-like objects that can be seen (in our solar system) with the unaided eye.

Interesting thought. Not sure though what is meant exactly by 'stellar-like objects' ? Aah ... read it again and see the closer definition of solar system ... and Saturn, i think is associated with the number 7.

'Cept Tracy said Neptune ... ! Oh well, life's an onion, like the solar system, so everything is everything anyway (just living at a different vibration momentarily) !!

Sorry All, and Tracy - checked my Cheiro's Book of Numbers and see that 7 is indeed linked to Neptune; 8 is Saturn. That's the problem just relying on memory .. wnated to confess my error anyway !

Since only one of the seven objects seen from Earth is an actual star, I could not use the term 'stellar' for all seven. Most planets look like just another star when you view them, hence the term stellar-like.

I've always noticed that there are seven binding marks on a Bible. Does this represent the seven Christian virtues? The number of letters in the name Jehovah? The seven days of creation?

There's also, among other things...

the 7 modes of music
the 7 circles/spheres/ancient planets
the 7 sephira under the supernal triad and the abyss on the tree of life - representing the 'building blocks' and world of form.

Seems to be a number associated with completion and wholeness.
