"Catching Thoughts"
oil on canvas 60x80 cm
created: 2006

This painting demonstrates how ideas are coming into my mind:
Being bussy with mandane chores, the ideas - inspirations - symbolized by huge colorful butterflies grab me.
The blue and purple colors hint that the nature of these images is spiritual - metaphysical.

As an auto-deduct artist, my work is not attached to any particular location or time frame, and it’s free from any familiar set of rules.
My creation is a medium of transferring knowledge about things that are beyond linear time and thinking.
I would like to share it with members of the forum, in order to get their insights and impressions about the images.

That is a mind-twisting, astral like, dreamy painting! It looks like there may be even more symbolism than the metaphysical butterfly thoughts. Like..who, what, and why is that little man at the table? What is the woman doing with the cloth? There are two empty clear bowls on the table. Did you have symbolic messages behind these as well? My thoughts were that the man represents the Observer. The glass bowls represent a still clear mind. Thank you, I am enjoying your artwork!

Dear Tracy -
Your observation is clear and clever.
While creating these paintings, I don't always understand all the details in them. The images are channeled to me as complete pictures. Therefore - there is a lot of room for the viewers to see and reflect themselves in the scene.
