Do you have an experience with crystals that you would like to report? Got any good leads on crystal digging spots? Do you have some knowledge about crystals to share? Crystals and gemstones can be discussed here.

My favorite crystal is aquamarine! Well, also I love the tourmaline with the purple and teal colors too, hmmm... they run hand in hand. I always feel so serene when they are in my presence.

My favorite crystal is amethyst, purple being my favorite color. I have lots of amethysts around me in my house. I think a methyst has some sort of special power, or is it just the color itself? I could gaze at an amethyst for hours (and have!). If only it was a marketable job skill.

for sure amethyst is my favorite too. I found it to be calming and soothing too. I too stare at the amethyst when I can and enjoy the beauty of it. However, I did somehow from my own experience find that holding smokey quartz while i sleep induces vivid dreams. Crystals and gemstones are fun.

Hmmmm... I'll have to try that! Smokey quartz under the pillow to induce dreams... Sounds easy enough!

I like the iridescnet things! I like the ones that are covered with the iridescent coating that makes it change color as it turns. I don't know what thats called, aqua aura or something. I kow that they dip the crystal or stone in gold and it comes out with a light coating and it looks iridescent. Does anyone know what that process is called? There is also a special metal that looks iridescent and it has specifi squarish structures, I think it is mandmade, but it is really cool. Does anyone know what that is called?

I had a really equisite experience once with a crystal. Somehow, during a meditation, I found myself inside it and got to expereince myself as a crystal being. It is really hard to describe, but it was a true lifeform. Everything was slower, but higher somehow, and there were crystalline sounds, but I can't describe them, like there were sounds that I was always hearing that were my vibration (as the crystal) and I was singing, whether anyone heard it or not didn't matter. Crystals are singing to us! The other thing that really stood out to me was that there were swirls and flashes and rays of light coming out of me, interacting with whatever was around. There was a communion and connection with the other crystals in the room, but there was also interaction with the human (the meditating me) and there were even interactions with the earth, and a glass of water nearby, everything, acctually. It was so neat! I couldn't duplicate the expereince again, but it always stayed in my mind and changed my relationship with crystals ever since.

Very nice, Zara! That is called shape-shifting in some circles. You can perceive what it is like to be any form, an animal, a crystal, water, another person, an object... It is a really fun exercise to explore the various worlds of form. Your perceptions of what it is like to be a crystal, or any other form, are accurate because it is all One Being having all these lifetimes and forms, and you are part of that One Self and every lifetime ever lived is your lifetime, and so this is why you are able to access this information. Try on some oher forms for size! Nature forms are especially fun, my favorite is being a river or an ocean, and being a bird was fun too! Being a rock was interesting, try them all on and see what it is like to be all these forms. You are able to perceive them becuase they are all you.

I would LOVE to know where I can go to dig for crystals.
I purchase mine at a local store but would love to 'find' my own in nature.

I use crystals often for healing myself. If I am out of sorts, I go through my collection of crystals and select those that 'call' me. I hold them in my hand while focusing on them. Once the energy has stopped, I have received all that I need from it... I give thanks and go on.

I feel that wearing crystals has great power as well. I have a few choice pieces that I wear and a special one that was gifted to me by a member of my grove. IF anyone has a source to purchase interesting jewellry... please let us know!

Hi Penny!

There is a couple of great places to go and dig for crystals in the USA, one is the Herkimer Diamond Mine in Herkimer, NY. There is also Little Rock, Arkansas. If you go to Little Rock and ask around, you'll find out where all the mines are. I can't remember exactly where I went, it was a little town outside of Little Rock, but if you did an internet search you'll find out a lot!

Good luck with your crystal hunting!

Hmmm... I would do crystal mines, crystal mines public, crystal digs, crystal digging, herkimer diamond mine, arkansas crystal mines, all sorts. You might even try calling a crystal store in Arkansas and ask them for a few leads. You will find out where to go, that's what I did. I just showed up in Little Rock, asked a crystal/metaphysical gift shop store where to go, and they told me. Turns out there are mines everywhere! They are outside of little rock for the most part, but they are there!

Hi - I have used the 'Boji' stones with absolute great success, their history is fascinating and it is intriguing to discover the yin/yang male/female aspect of them.

They are fabulous particularly for physical ailments one particular patient suffered pain in his elbow on waking for over 30 years. Using both the Boji stones at his elbow for 5 minutes worked wonders. Being a complete skeptic I think he thought I was literally pulling his leg with the effects however, the following morning he was so desperate to call me and book a 'full treatment' appointment, as for the first time he awoke with no pain whatsoever - and he hasn't suffered since. I now give him treatments regularly for all sorts of mental, physical and emotional issues using all sorts of energy work.

On another note they are fantastic for meditation but can take you quite deep into the Theta cycles of the mind (slightly deeper than an alpha state) so therefore you can feel extremely spacey and dizzy when coming round unless you have been practicing meditation regularly or have practiced transcendental meditation. Either way its a wonderful feeling.

These particular crystals are only truly produced in the US and there is some information obtainable on the web.

Hello Penny!

I was wondering if you found anything out with the crystal digging spots and have anything to share with us? If you go on a dig, definitely give us a report! We would like to hear about your experiences!

I have more of a question than anything else regarding crystals. That is, the idea of Reiki and universal energy flow and how it has to do with crystals and their energy. I have a DVD that talks about Reiki attunements and Sedona Arizona which is a rich energy vortex with alot of crystals nearby. do you believe that places exist where these energy vortices exist and as they say, the veil is thinner and spirit world is closer to our physical world? hi lori,
yes, i do think that there are many places on earth that radiate many different energies, the earth has a natural energy grid that encompasses all of it. dowsing can help you find these grids. even personal energy, like the kind accumulated at your own house, or in religeous buildings, hold these properties, energy is often in frequencies, thats why at home, you attune to the frequency of energy you have accumulated there and feel comfortable, or the energy you might find from being on the beach, or on a mountain, whatever frequency your own personal energy is will be affected by where you are and vise versa. i live in japan now, and travel often, when i come across some ancient grounds with some great history, you can feel the entire emotion of that place. or whenever i have visited some kind of old religeous place or cemetary, my whole body tingles with energy, i can always feel it greatest from my feet, through my spine, and to the back part of my head, sometimes its so strong i get uncontrolable shivers and my face feels flush. -james

Hi Everybody!

Its hard for me to pick just one (or just a few ..) as favorites .. but right now I am working with and love Azeztulite & Moldavite in conjunction with a QLink necklace. I find that the moldavite is definitely a transformative stone, and if you do work with it - do take your time getting bonded. It is a very powerful stone. I bought mine in the form of a ring with white gold, from what I understand gold amplifies most gems, and with moldavite already being a very powerful stone I got a migraine for one entire day after wearing my ring all day everyday for a week. But I left it off for a day and I have been all set ever since.

Maybe some sort of energy was released in you while you were sleeping? We release charges of energy while we dream and work out things on the unconscious level. Perhaps that might have something to do with it...

I was looking thru the old archives and found this one.

I absolutely love working with crystals and have quite a few really outstanding experiences with them. My two favorite stores are about a Malicite pendent and clear quartz crystal gridding. When I have more time I will come back and post them as they may be a little lengthy

My favorite changes along with my moods. Today I would have to say that Jasper seems to the one, very earthy. I also have a 7 chakra merkaba set that is really cool.

I have found that (www.healingcrystals.com) has really nice wands, odd crystals, pendants, and platonic solid shaped crystals. I have ordered many things from them and they are very good quality.

Blessings
K

Yes, an interesting unearthment (if I can make such a pun on this thread !).

Most fascinating dream story told by Lyonna with Christine's input.

On that recent visit to one of our oldest UK stone circles, Castle Rigg, where we seemed to photograph orbs, before I saw the photographs, the energy of those stones felt tremendously vibrant and current.

Yes, I have definitely felt the energies of some beaches, forests, little town areas, some sacred and historical places, and other environments where I have felt the flowing energy that brings about healing and a better sense of well-being.

As for which is my favorite: I would have to say rose quartz. Amethyst is my second with the wisdom of the purple color, and labradorite for healing in the universe and turquoise stones are next in line because this has always been my favorite color since I was a child.
