copyright of me, for ums, we could have School song if we liked ...

I am singing to say
thank you
to Everything there Is

I am praying to say
hello
to every day that's new

I am crying with eyes closed
so as
not to see the Night

I am grateful beyond
Gratitude
for the Light that never dies

dearest sunflower dearest

how did you know ?

you are of course corect in your discernment of darkness and the need for Hugs - , for which no words of gratitude are sufficient ...

who am I to say if I have a singing voice?

Though I have recently discovered Welsh whisky, with which I raise a glass to Thee x

happy weekenz xx

Nice Paul....

I am a singer too... I actually have a professional Karaoke machine I take to large places. I enjoy it very much. So I appreciate your beautiful lyrics.... just need to come up with a tune. :P

Blessings~

Nice of you too, DocJ, bet you have a beautiful voice x

I can whistle, somewhat. Was in the school and church choir, until they and me discovered my Paganism

tooo modest paul,i can imagine you as a choir boy,oh for the wings of a dove, love doves. My youngest son was in the church choir as a young boy, then he was able to go on the trip they arranged,he stopped after that, mind you i did wash his cassock, tunic,if thats what theyre called, both together, marroon and white, the white turned pink, suited him i thought, not so the vic. When i was a young girl,i used to sing into my hairbrush, now i am grown, old and wiser,i sing into my hairbrush, one day i will get speakers for it,may improve the quality of my singing,or just a louder noise.mmm, but i have to admit,i love kareoke machines, unfortunately those near to me advise me to give my vocal chords a well earned rest,in case of future stardom i assume, they are good to me,always thinking of my future, okay ya,must go,hairbrush getting cold, love to you both, big hugs irisx

Lovely post dearest dearest Irissunflowerpetalblossombeam ,,, why can we never meet somewhere on Offa's Dyke ? ... Ah me, the choir boy thing was in St Helen's Church Ashby de la Zouch - eat your heart out Dan Brown !!! - why, in those days we could not afford our own choir gear, all borrowed, only to be returned in vain vaingloria ... so, we only believed in what we ourselves possessed, which in truth is nothing, and aye, the better for all that: then again, the Ashby Grammar Schools Choir with Sir Michael Tippett in Leicester de Montfort Hall, circa, 1971 ... ach well, those were the days xx Hugs too
