Yes, indeed death, [just slightly sad because Amy was a mere 27 and addicted to drugs and alcohol - addiction, as we might know, being a mirror and substitute for the one true addiction, the Divine]: and did not the Prophet also say, "die, before ye die" ?

Fame......I Wanna Live Forever, Baby Remember My Name.....

The flirty makeup and bohemian hair got me more than her singing. She had my hands clapping when she won her awards.

May we discuss what is this thing with 27 years and musicians?????? Coincidence is coincidence.....but so many have fallen at that age. I imagine that those who thrive on conspiracy will find links to 27 for the deaths of the Big Bopper, Richie Valens, Buddy Holly, Ricky Nelson, Blind Owl Wilson, Root Boy Slim, and many many others. Why 27??????????

Peace to Amy, peace to us,

Well Marty, it was a sad day indeed, however with the millions of music artists, of course there are going to be a lot at age 27. There are a lot much earlier and later as well. Might as well make an age group for all ages, i am sure we can find many artists to fit the date.

I am however happy that I just made it to good ol 45. ARGH.... for some reason i felt more comfortable with 44, but at least i made it past 27.  Since my B-day is on the 27th, i know i had a serious party for being 27 on the 27th. So that number does resonate with me.

I liked Amy and it's a shame she didn't want help. It just goes to show ya that many people, famous, rich, unknown or poor, all have hard lives. It's those who make it through that still go on dealing with what is left. Lets hope we can take what is positive and focus on that.

Love the jokes in the other posts too... had me rolling. Needed that. Life has been rough for me and i nearly didn't make it a few times. I have had WAY too many hospital stays this year and while the doc say's i need another, i am going to pass and call it time for mental healing.... and just deal with it, until i cannot. Will take it from there.

Court is another issue.... blah blah blah..... not going there now. Sometimes I envy those who are not stuck with such DRAMA, as I want to detach, even for a little while, but COURT won't let me. Being in contempt is fun. Cops are at least on our side... they stated "I would have done the same thing too, and just taken the contempt charges". Cannot wait till the kids are ALL over 18.... so this crap is all over with. *rolls eyes*

Keep the laughter and love going..... Music is beautiful. Life is what you make it. Lets make it.
Lets say RIP to all DRAMA and BS too. I know exactly where to shove that.... HA HA HA

Be Well xoxo

Well Paulio... you are only 12 small years ahead of me. My ex, whom I have three kids with is only behind you by 3 years. So, what is age anyway? it's the body.... not the mind, unless illness is present. I see no signs of that my friend.

Be well my friends, you are still thriving.

Ha - thanks Jill - Life's a Long Song (one of my favourite Tull):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rioYOoFqyAo

("but the tune ends too soon for us all ....")

.... and Happy Birthday during Leo-season; a time, if I am correct, quoted in Romeo and Juliet (Marty?) - will check on that and get back to you ...[wasn't it Juliet who was born around the Lammas time - the Feast of the First Fruits, 1st August ? , could be wrong though ...]

Ah - dear, tragic Juliet was born on Lammas eve ...

"Even or odd, of all days in the year,
Come Lammas-eve at night shall she be fourteen".

http://www.william-shakespeare.info/act1-script-text-romeo-and-juli...

The amazing symbolism used by Shakespeare - the feast of 1st fruits, Juliet's birthday, and the ensuing tragedy .... sends shivers up the spine, methinks

Supernatural3, be well. It's being quite some time you chirped in. All is well with God, worries or not. After all, it is said that life is not only about DRAMA but drama itself. To the 27s that are resting in peace, I say be cool in the arms of the Merciful Lord. Incidentally, my name Ahmad is A=+H=8+M=13+A=1+D=4 = 27 in all! I am rocking and rolling in good health and clocking 46 come October, worries or not!

Oh Paul, I remember lammas tide but I don't recall Leo....good excuse to reread it, since it has been a long while......even so....

TYBALT

What wouldst thou have with me?

MERCUTIO

lives; that I mean to make bold withal, and as you
shall use me hereafter, drybeat the rest of the

Happy Birthday to all of you, my dear Leo Friends.

I said a prayer for you today,
And God must have heard –
I felt the answer in my heart,
Although S/He spoke no word!
I did not ask for wealth or fame
I knew you wouldn’t mind –
I asked Her/Him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind.

I asked that S/He be near you
At the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings,
And friends, to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
In all things, great and small –
But, it was for his loving care
That I prayed the most of all.

God be with you.

Anon.

My present for you is my interpretation of your Sun sign. If that sounds interesting, please follow this link:

The Sun in Leo

Many happy returns of the day,
With love and light,
Aquarius

Tidbit of History.....I met Muhammad Ali (except at that time he was known as Cassius Clay) on the steps of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. I was an Archer Messenger doing a delivery. He graciously autographed the back of my delivery ticket.
Unfortunately we had to turn in our tickets to the BIG boss, and no amount of pleading persuaded the BIG boss to let me keep that ticket.

Oh well, at least I shook hands with the greatest boxer that ever lived!

Hi Paul and Aul,
Indeed may he rip!
But, this gives me an opportunity to say something which is very unpopular in light of the now mythical perception of the native american...
1) They were not necessarily "good" people with regard to protecting the earth;
2) They didn't only kill buffalo or many other animals to eat and clothe themselves; they slaughtered animals much the same as any other hunters do.
3) They treated the weak, sick and elderly badly.
4) They treated women very badly.
5) The present day reservation very much is indicative of the true nature of the people.

A knowledge of history sometimes makes me cry; just like the legendary tv commercial in the US touched so many people, but, with a grand lie.
See it for yourselves...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Suu84khNGY (voice over by William Conrad)

Peace to aul,
Marty

OMG Paul............
I have received the following:

"Since the leak of the Wikileaks documents of the "Podesta files", <name withheld by me> has been in the forefront of the news lately. The leaks have become a sort of defacto disclosure as evidence mounts that higher ups in the government, including Hillary Clinton herself, are aware of the existence of ETs and openly discuss the role of Extraterrestrials in global decision making."

I wonder what cloak and dagger skullduggery the good old USA is up to??

Be careful out there and safe journey space fans, wherever you are!

There has always been secret (more advanced beings) groups, whom needed to view the newer humans and only intervene when absolutely needed. They still exist and are intervening now because the primitive begins are corrupt. We cannot comprehend the reality of the whole truth.

Hi Paul and Jillybean (hope you are getting better all the time); and lookers and lurkers, both terrestrial and extraterrestrial......
Isn't it strange..............................

"""From the desk of Erich Von Däniken:

My Dear fans, friends and families,

This year I will be in London, for the first time in 25 years to celebrate Chariots of the Gods 50th Anniversary."""

As we all may or may not know, 50 years ago up to this day groups of scientists and others seek to discredit Von Daniken's work, which offered compelling evidence that we have a relationship with extraterrestrials. Many alternative explanations are offered and they all are plausible, but I tend to put greater faith in Von Daniken's evidence.

As we (who populate this board) also know, when I have discussed Evolution, I have stated that homo sapiens (us) could NOT have evolved in the time span generally attributed to the ascent of man. I believe that there was an intervening factor in the evolutionary development of humankind, and I am convinced that it was extraterrestrial genetic seeding. Mutation not withstanding, those that understand Evolution have no explanation for what natural selection in adaptive environments cannot account for.

Will some of our new friends comment? This is important stuff, because if it ever is empirically proven to the world in general that there are extraterrestrials, there is a whole new horizon to gaze at when it comes to spirituality!
I think Von Daniken rightly and justly named his book "Chariots of the Gods". I celebrate it's 50th anniversary!

Live Long and Perspire,
Marty

Hello and welcome your sentiments Marty .. though sorry to be a nay sayer - or is it critical thinking? Not sure ..! - but in any event have you or any others seen the 3 hour long Tube Video, Ancient Aliens Debunked? It seems to me quite a poweful and evidential analysis.

DocJ, your ideas seem to me have a possible affinity with the esoteric Jewish legend of the Just Men/Women - ie, that at any one time there are in the world 12 Just Men (or Women I would add), though they live in secret - possibly from each other and even maybe themselves: but they are the heart and lifeblood of the world in a way, as I understand the legend, and that if there were ever any less, the world as we kknow it would perish ...

One problem for me about Von Daniken's work is that he seems to be substituting one set of non-evolved species for another ... ie, if aliens sparked our development, or sparked theirs?

I am kind of in a different space, having been shown that beyond extraterrestrials, if any, a higher evolved species exists within us from mere bug bites, and instead of inefficient space travel, they employ extra dimensional travel with a higher understanding of time-space physics such as Proposed M11 Theory. It is a real head scratcher as I try to get to the bottom of it all with apple leaves. I'm getting there. They wrote the Bible so are much older than mankind, and are right here within each and every one of us presently. They know how the Pyramids were built and why. It is an incredible surprise, and actually quite humorous. It's a test answer for 5+o0nts, so I have to keep it a secret, but if they get it, they'll know after a few months of AppLyme™

Hi Alpha - your theory would explain why plants seem to have some kind of 'mind', although we cannot locate consciousness in them - the way they grow and develop and alter and transform makes sense from that microbial perspective ...

Dear All

I am not moving this thread or any comments, but to note, but as the discussion has gone in different directions to the original thread theme, I am pointing out for interested readers that there are other threads that mention UFOs, Aliens, Life's Origins and such like that can be found by doing one's own search on the site. No problem with discussions going in different directions incidentally ... all is grist to the mill of metaphysical inquiry ... indeed the topic of microbial life might be a timely and happy reminder that there is no such thing as death at all .....

Love and blessings all

Hi Paul 'n Ophi, and AyeOhh:
Paulio, I have watched the 3 hour and additionally several 1 and 2 hour debunk films, vids, and listened to as many audio documentaries. All offer explanations that are quite believable and scenarios that are quite plausible. No objection from me if that is what one chooses to believe.
For me, it involves a crisis of consciousness........I cannot live comfortably with the 200,000 year span to evolve to where we type to each other on the internet today. The "we" of the small mammals after the cataclysmic event that ended the reign of the dinosaurs just were not challenged enough by the forces of evolution to become the "we" that comprises our fine, august members of this board. Something ELSE happened.

AaaaOoooo, what you describe would prove my time theory to the max....and I would be very grateful. To say that "a higher evolved species exists within us" is to say that there is an evolution that is beyond our confines, which I do subscribe to.
Evolution involves time and equates us with the little aye-ayes. The aye-ayes will grow cuter little eyes, but they will never use the internet in trillions of years UNLESS something helps them along. We, with our ugly eyes that constantly look for hate and divisiveness developed and use the internet as a GOD given right and feel oh so righteous in doing it.

And My Dearest Ophieee,
when the board is hot it's hot, when it's not it's not....free flow is better than no flow...think about going to a charity shop and among all the things that are pure unadulterated junk, you find a treasure....sometimes the way threads go......

Love to Yas All,
Marty

I have to agree about trying to stick to topic, or moving same discussion to different thread, only because of trying to find it later on. Some really cool stuff about alien possibilities here. ... and it's located under RIP. Hahahaha. Point taken O.

Martay.... dead accurate. ... if it's hot, it's hot. ... hahaha. Oh my!

My opinions of Aliens. ... oh boy do they exist. They are among us everywhere. Just not like one thinks. It's a dimensional thing for sure. They are more than 3D. They are 4D. I spent a little time in the 4D world. They can be very nice, or very nasty. There are many different types too, some look like us, some look like the ones we see on TV. They can be transparent, they have remarkable abilities. They can repair human beings (surgically). Extreme inelegant but lack human emotions so they are fascinated by our sexual desire and emotional attachment as if they miss it. I'll stop here in case we start up a new thread.

This is my own experience. ... i don't expect others to feel the same or believe my own experience. They taught me how to do some cool stuff. ... but in coming back to 3D, it's no longer possible in this realm. Ugh

Hi Pauly, maybe a Cohen musical tribute on Storkchastical Music thread?????

And, by the way, Nobel for Bobby Dylan????? Well, he did write and sing the ballad of ISIS, and though I love/hate him for that, I will never forgive for that.

I was thinkin about diamonds and the worlds biggest necklace.
As we rode through the canyon in the devilish cold,

So so long wonderful Ursula Le Guin whom I saw has passed on to the Farthest Shore, aged 88 and resident of Portland, Oregon - wonder if any of our UMS tutors knew her there?

Ursula's Earthsea saga remains for me the definitive and unsurpassable fantasy addressing the place of magic in this world

Farewell Professor Stephen Hawking and Sir Ken Dodd, who both passed this week .... the former may now know for sure what are the Outer Limits, the latter leaving us in a more gloomy state .... (for any overseas friends who may not know Ken Dodd he was one of the last surviving music hall comedians, who could hold an audience in the palm of his hand for hours on end with his wit and repartee) .... a good and current example of his one liners:

"What a wonderful day to knock on the door of the Kremlin and ask, 'is Lenin?' "

Hello Paul....long time no see!
Sad but immensely glad because he is free of the robotic existence he had. I, myself, would not have lived like that but only because I know there is something beyond. He chose to practice bitter science. I think happy science.
Our biggest clash occurred over the Big Bing Bang Boom of the universe. He denied the truth, and I embrace it.
There was no BANG!

As for Ken, I have hope that he will retain his reputation as a leading edge comedian and not be tainted by scandal as we celebrate him.

In a Troubled World, Share My Peace,
Servant to all,
Marty

Nice to hear here from you Marty ... as Jill remarked the other day, it gets lonely ....

Another RIP, possibly more tragic and concerning planet-wise .... Sudan, the last male Northern White Rhino gone from the plains of Kenya and leaving his species virtually extinct (thanks to poachers, human stupidity and greed) save for the two female White Rhinos left alive ...

We watch the fate of the Polar Bear as being another totem for the unheeded warning of the world

In prayers

Paul
